Chapter 115 - Chapter 115: League Chairman

Hanzo stood amidst the ruins and dust, his breathing ragged.

He had never experienced a battle like this—mysterious Ninja Beasts, bizarre skills and methods.

His Beedrill army, the insect troops he had cultivated for months,

vanished completely in the spatial fluctuations Shiroishi casually released.

In the end, everything he had prepared seemed like insignificant dust.

For the first time, Hanzo truly realized…

he felt as if he had been left behind by the times.

He raised his head and looked at Shiroishi before him.

This young man was clearly just an ordinary child from the Land of Rain,

yet in such a short time, he had transformed the entire country in unimaginable ways.

Hanzo asked quietly, "…What is the Pokémon League? If the Land of Rain rashly makes radical changes, it will provoke devastating attacks from the Five Great Nations."

No matter what, Hanzo was still the leader of the Land of Rain. At heart, he was concerned about the country's future.

Shiroishi smiled faintly and explained, "The Pokémon League in my ideal is the future world system."

"With the Land of Rain at its core, we will establish Gyms, the Elite Four, and the Regional Champion system."

"Trainers and Pokémon grow together, rather than ninjas relying on slaughter and war."

"We will eliminate the entire ninja system of the Shinobi World."

"And establish a…"

Shiroishi looked up, gazing toward Xerneas and Yveltal in the distant sky—the true forces capable of deciding the world's fate.

"A utopian world where humans and Pokémon live together and evolve together."

Hanzo was stunned.

The moment he heard these words, what rose in his heart was absurdity, shock… and then an unprecedented sense of relief.

Though it sounded strange, to overturn the entire Shinobi World…

he had to admit, Shiroishi's words were deeply compelling.

"They are not called Ninja Beasts."

Shiroishi tilted his head slightly. "Their true name is Pokémon."

Hanzo closed his eyes, remained silent for a moment, then murmured, "From now on, let the Land of Rain proceed according to your vision."

Shiroishi's smile softened. "No, Lord Hanzo, your task is not yet over."

"In the next five years, you still have much to do."

He reached out and helped Hanzo to his feet.

"You will be the first Chairman of the Pokémon League."

Hanzo was taken aback.

Not long after, within the completely sealed borders of the Land of Rain, it was officially announced:

The ninja system was abolished.

Amegakure was dissolved.

The Pokémon League was established.

Anyone could become a Trainer, enter Gyms based on strength, and obtain League certification.

The Land of Rain would become the first member nation of the Pokémon League.

At the same time, in the sky, Yveltal's Dark Aura continuously altered the structure of the clouds.

It destroyed the decaying, outdated sky, allowing light to shine once more upon this land shrouded in millennia of gloom.

On the ground, Xerneas's life-giving light penetrated the soil.

Deserts turned to grasslands, withered trees became forests, cold gave way to warmth, and barren land transformed into fertile soil.

The Tree of Life continued to expand outward, while the bird of death purified the sky.

One reshaped the land, the other reshaped the sky.

The earth's veins deepened their bond with the World Tree.

The drastic changes within the Land of Rain evoked a sense of eeriness felt by all nations.

Land of Wind.

When news of Iemitsu's disappearance reached the Sand Village headquarters, the conference room fell into a deathly silence.

Chiyo's teacup slipped from her hand, shattering on the floor with a crisp sound.

Her face instantly turned ashen, and a choked sob caught in her throat.

"Iemitsu…"

She was no fool.

Chiyo knew all too well what losing contact meant.

Iemitsu's wife forced herself to stand, her eyes red-rimmed but her voice steady. "Lady Chiyo... I will go to the Land of Rain."

"I must see for myself what has happened to Iemitsu."

Chiyo remained silent for a long time.

She understood perfectly—Iemitsu's wife was one of the finest Puppet Masters in the Sand Village, and his most trusted partner.

She represented the most promising combat strength of the new generation.

Taking her hand, Chiyo spoke softly, "...Sasori is still young. He needs you."

Iemitsu's wife lifted her head, tears finally falling. "Lady Chiyo, precisely because Sasori is young, I must learn his father's fate."

"If I lack the courage to even investigate my husband's life or death... I don't deserve to teach him to become a ninja."

Chiyo drew a deep breath, the tension in her chest easing slightly.

"Very well."

Iemitsu's wife nodded, slung the puppet scroll her husband had left behind over her shoulder, and turned to leave.

Chiyo watched her depart, then closed her eyes in silent contemplation.

Hidden Leaf Village.

Sakumo Hatake stood on a high vantage point, gazing toward the Land of Rain enveloped by colossal trees.

Their tangled roots and branches resembled the ribs and veins of some giant beast emerging from the earth, sealing the entire nation within a tangible Barrier.

The elevated terrain and natural Barrier formed by the trees made the area seem as if it had been severed from the world by some supernatural force.

Might Duy scratched his head uneasily. "Sakumo... Are we really not going in?"

Sakumo shook his head, his tone more resolute than ever.

"We cannot."

"That place is beyond the reach of conventional power now."

He looked back toward the Land of Rain, his expression unusually grave. "Our mission... is to protect the Land of Fire, not to throw our lives away."

Might Duy fell silent for a long moment. Sakumo glanced at his friend. "Thank you for your help these past days. You should return now and prepare for the second round of Ninja School assessments."

"Haha, you're right! I should head back. Youth cannot be defeated by any disaster!!"

Might Duy gave a thumbs-up. "But, Sakumo, are you sure you'll be alright?"

Sakumo smiled.

"Duy."

"Soon... our children will be born."

Might Duy blinked in surprise. "Huh?!"

Sakumo continued with a chuckle,

"If one of us has a boy and the other a girl... should we arrange their marriage from childhood?"

Might Duy's eyes lit up instantly. "Yes!! Then they can train together and burst with youth from the start!! Fantastic!!"

Sakumo sighed, both exasperated and relieved.

"Two boys can train together too. Marriage arrangements have nothing to do with training."

Mount Kikyō.

Once a barren, desolate peak where even dust refused to settle, it had now been utterly transformed by the life force of the World Tree.

Emerald green spread from the foothills all the way to the summit—forests, lakes, soaring birds...

Life seemed to have been reshaped, blooming with overwhelming abundance.

Yet within this thriving verdancy, a peculiar chill lingered—

as if some immense power lay dormant deep within the mountain.

Amid this interplay of energies, beneath Kikyō Mountain, a new structure rose from the earth.

Its stone walls stood majestic, its gates imposing, as if the mountain range itself had made way for it.

It was named the Water Gym.

Meanwhile, at the border between the Land of Fire and the Land of Rain, a Grass Gym appeared.

At the border between the Land of Earth and the Land of Rain, a Rock Gym emerged.
