After making sure everything was safe, Dash immediately sat cross-legged on the ground. Shel sat in front of him on a piece of ruin stone.
"So, those are what you call the forgotten spirits from ancient times that attack everyone in this world?" Dash asked.
"That's right. Everyone calls those spirits Fallen Shadows. They are the former races that perished and went extinct. Today, we happened to see all the extinct races," Shel replied.
"Hmm… are there many creatures like that in this world?" Dash asked.
"About 80% of this world. We, the remnants who survived the gods' wrath, are only a small part who were perhaps chosen by the gods to continue living in this world after they left. Or, on the contrary, we are the ones being punished, intentionally left behind to be killed by the Fallen Shadows and become like the Fallen Shadows ourselves… I really don't know," Shel replied.
"I see… when did all that ancient history even happen?" Dash asked.
"Hmm… no one knows. All the inhabitants of this world are descendants of the survivors. I myself am only 18 years old, so I don't understand any of it and only heard the stories from my mother," Shel replied.
"Oh… you're only 18?" Dash asked.
"Um… yeah, is that weird?" Shel asked, touching her own cheek.
"Not really… not weird," Dash replied, waving his hand dismissively. "Damn it, I thought she was 20 or older. That means I slept with a minor yesterday," Dash thought.
"How old are you?" Shel asked.
"Um… what do you think? I completely forgot and don't remember anything," Dash answered, his thoughts scattered after learning Shel's age.
"If I look at your face, maybe you're around the same age as me," Shel said, thinking as she observed Dash.
"Yeah… maybe," Dash replied. "Geez… lying again… if I tell her I'm actually 22… will she get mad? This is so confusing… my head hurts," Dash thought.
Hearing Dash's seemingly half-hearted answer, Shel watched Dash's face, which looked confused and deep in thought. Then she looked down at Dash's lower half and didn't blink. Her breathing started to get shallow, and she began to smile to herself. Dash, seeing Shel's expression look strange and watching where she was looking, immediately looked down. His leaf pants had come off sometime, he didn't know when. He immediately saw Shel, who was now stroking her neck and continuing to look down.
Dash immediately rotated and turned his back on Shel, then he glanced behind him.
"Um… Shel, you can use nature magic, right? Could you make me some pants out of leaves or something?" Dash asked.
Instead of answering, Shel suddenly stood up, did a somersault in the air, and landed right in Dash's lap, which was cross-legged. She immediately sat and kissed Dash with consuming lust. Dash instantly pushed Shel away and held her by the shoulders.
"What's wrong?" Shel asked, smiling.
"N-nothing, I'm just tired because I used a lot of energy just now," Dash answered curtly. "I hope she buys it… I can't do it again with a minor. What if I get caught? Oh, this isn't Earth, but still," Dash thought.
"Oh, that's right, sorry. I'll make you some pants, but… after this… because now it's time for…" Shel said, suddenly moaning.
"Oh… okay," Dash replied, resigned. "No… don't… no," Dash screamed in his head.
Shel pushed Dash down so he was lying on his back. Then she immediately started rocking and servicing herself while Dash just watched her, his mind blank.
"My moral compass is utterly smashed and broken into pieces, for heaven's sake," Dash thought.
Shel bent down to hug Dash, then kissed him while continuing to move her hips.
"I… I've been wet for a while… you're strong… I like strong people," Shel stammered, panting and moaning.
"O-okay," Dash replied, resigned. "Why does an 18-year-old girl have the body of a 25-year-old woman? Dammit, if she looks like this and whispers at me like that, I can't resist," Dash thought.
With great difficulty, Dash fought the temptation, but in the end, his carnal desire completely defeated his rational mind. He immediately launched a counter-attack, and this time he made Shel kneel over, then he got behind her and immediately executed his move. Shel immediately looked up, her face smiling until her jaw trembled.
"AAAKH… faster… that feels good," Shel yelled with pleasure, groaning.
"Whatever… I don't care. As long as we both enjoy it, it's fine. Fuck you, cursed bastards," Dash thought in his head, flipping the middle finger upwards and looking at the sky.
After 30 minutes of switching styles and sharing sweat, both of them were finally sprawled out, panting in the middle of the ruins. Shel was asleep in Dash's arms as he embraced her. Both were naked, and their breathing was still shallow. Shel turned her head to look at Dash's handsome face, then she stroked his cheek.
"If I stay with you forever… is that okay?" Shel asked.
"Huh… why are you asking that?" Dash asked, confused, turning his head to look at Shel.
"I know a lot of women must want you. I'm not asking you to be exclusive with me, but please don't forget me and leave me. After we've done it twice now, I feel like I can't live without you," Shel replied, pleadingly.
"Huh… what are you talking about?" Dash asked, genuinely not understanding.
"Um… I don't want you to leave me," Shel answered, her face flushed red.
"I won't leave you, seriously. Don't ask weird stuff," Dash replied, still clueless.
"Okay, thank you, Dash… my husband," Shel said.
"Huh… husband?" Dash asked.
"Yep. You saved me twice. I'm going to spend my life with you," Shel replied.
"Oh… okay… like that… okay," Dash replied, running out of words and trying hard to figure out how to respond.
After that, they were silent. Shel rested her head on Dash's chest as he held her, while Dash kept looking at the blue clouds in the sky, which moved very slowly with the wind. Suddenly, Dash looked down at his lower body. His erection was back, and Shel's hand was gripping it.
"Hey, hey… enough already. Not again, come on. I'm seriously tired this time," Dash thought.
However, when he turned to Shel, he saw she was already turned on again, breathing shallowly, and seemed ready for round two. She had even placed Dash's hand on her chest. As he looked closely at Shel's face one more time, he suddenly remembered the face of that squad commander from yesterday when he was on top of her, and he understood now what that expression meant.
"Okay… here we go again. This is basically me happily carrying out the damn curse. You're lucky, you bastard dragon, you're gonna get fed. Women in this world are crazy. It's totally possible I'm going to get someone pregnant," Dash thought.
Dash embraced Shel and kissed her again. Then they started round two, lying on the ground, oblivious to their surroundings, which, in fairness, were completely empty.
Five rounds later, after putting her clothes back on, Shel made pants for Dash using leaves, vines, and wood. The pants were a combat design that Dash had personally designed from memory and asked Shel to create. After putting on the pants, he lay back down, and Shel settled back into his arms.
"So, where are we going now, Shel?" Dash asked.
"As long as we're still in the territory of the Grandias Kingdom, we're not safe. You and I will definitely be hunted here… we should head to the neutral zone in the eastern region, after we leave the Grandias Kingdom," Shel answered.
"Is the location far?" Dash asked.
"Um… it shouldn't be too far from these ruins. The important thing is that from here, we keep walking east. My dad used to take me there often. There's a city called Forshville, a self-governing city inhabited by all races without discrimination and without interference from any kingdom," Shel answered.
"How many kingdoms are there in this world, anyway?" Dash asked.
"Um… I don't really know, but from what my mom told me, she said there are three other kingdoms besides Grandias," Shel replied.
"Alright, let's rest for a moment, and then we'll leave," Dash replied.
"Okay, but can I ask you something?" Shel asked.
"Sure, go ahead and ask," Dash answered.
"What you did earlier, was that magic? Or is it really a Dragonkin power?" Shel asked.
"Um… I don't know either. I forgot, but I clearly remember how to do it," Dash answered.
"Hmm… I see. You really did forget who you are, didn't you?" Shel asked.
"Yeah, sorry," Dash replied.
"It's okay, but honestly, you looked awesome. Especially when you changed into your dragon form. I could even sit on your shoulder just like when I was little and sat on my dad's shoulders," Shel said, smiling and playing with her fingers on Dash's chest.
"You're not scared?" Dash asked.
"Not at all… maybe I'd be scared if you were my enemy. That's why I don't want to be your enemy and choose to stay with you," Shel answered.
"Don't worry. You're not my enemy," Dash replied, hugging Shel.
Shel smiled and closed her eyes as she was hugged. Then both of them fell soundly asleep under the trees, with a gentle breeze and rustling leaves.
