No color.No sound.No breath.
Only cold emptiness pressing against his skin like invisible hands.
He didn't remember falling asleep. He didn't remember closing his eyes. One moment he lay in the medical room… and the next—
He was drifting inside an endless void.
A faint pulse throbbed from the Ring fused into his right hand.
Rey grabbed his wrist in panic—
And the world broke open beneath him.
He fell.
Wind roared around him, but he saw no sky above, no ground below—only a collapsing abyss swallowing everything.
He hit something hard.
A stone platform suspended in the void.
Symbols covered the floor—fractured, glowing faint blue, shifting like broken memories trying to rebuild themselves.
"…where am I…?"
The question echoed into eternity.
Then the darkness around the platform changed.
It moved.
It thickened.
Shadows formed—first one… then dozens… then a sea of them.
Faceless silhouettes.Mouths stretched open in silent screams.Bodies twisted as if drowning in invisible chains.
Rey stumbled backward, heart hammering.
A whisper seeped from the dark:
"…help…"
Rey froze.
"…help us…"
The sound dug under his skin.
"…please… free us…"
The voices multiplied—crying, begging, collapsing into each other like a chorus of suffering.
Rey clutched his head, falling to his knees.
"STOP—!! I DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU WANT—!!"
The shadows surged closer.
Hands reaching.Voices screaming.
"WE ARE TRAPPED!""FREE US! FREE US! FREE US!"
Cracks spread across the glowing platform. The runes pulsed in rhythm with the agonized cries.
Rey curled in on himself, trembling violently.
"PLEASE—STOP—!!!"
The shadows swallowed him whole—
And he woke.
