"Do you think I'm a bad mother?"
The question suddenly came out of Noel's mouth, reflexively making Dalton turn to him. He denied it, saying that Noel was a good mother.
"You're a good parent! Just because I said that doesn't mean you're a bad person. I just wanted to tell you about Silas' daily life."
He paused for a moment before finally continuing. "I think one day Silas will understand what you've done for him. Just like when Regis said the same thing to you, right?"
The Omega nodded, now understanding what Regis had tried to do for him in the past. Back then, he may not have understood anything, but now he understood how the world had been working in front of him. However, he was too busy to care about all that except his own happiness.
"You're right, maybe one day Silas will understand."
They continued their conversation while watching Silas play. Until they reached a topic where Dalton asked about Silas becoming an Alpha or an Omega.
