Alastair drove his car from Ashford's residence to his own home.
On the way, he kept thinking about the place he had just visited. His desire to meet Noel and find out his name had been fulfilled.
Now he wanted something more than just a name to satisfy his curiosity.
Upon arriving at the mansion that served as his mafia headquarters, he went looking for Kenneth. There was something he wanted to know. After searching the entire mansion, he found Kenneth in his office.
"I was looking for you, and it turns out you're here," said Damian as he entered the office of his cousin and also right hand man. The man was sitting at his laptop, working on something.
"I'm always here. What's up? You need something important?" asked Kenneth, turning to his boss.
"There's an Omega I want you to find information about."
Kenneth was a little surprised to hear this because it was unusual for Alastair to ask about Omegas. He had never even shown any interest in Omegas before.
But today, he wanted him to find information about an Omega. It was unexpected, but Kenneth couldn't refuse.
"It's none of your business. Just find information about this Omega and give it to me immediately."
"Okay, okay, Mr. Madness, calm down a little. Just tell me his name and I'll find it," said Kenneth, putting down the pen he was holding and looking at his cousin.
"His name is Noel Ashford."
*****
At the Ashford residence that night, Noel, who had just arrived home late, was immediately approached by his older brother, Regis, who looked both worried and annoyed that Noel had been gone for so long. He immediately asked his younger brother a question.
"Where have you been? I've been waiting for you. But you didn't come home."
Noel knew he would get in trouble when he arrived home, especially from Regis. He tried to find an excuse to be accepted.
"I just had to finish my college assignment at the library. I needed the books there, so I only came home after finishing part of my final project," he explained.
In reality, he spent more time playing games and listening to music than working on his assignment. He had only completed a small portion of his final project.
"You know I was very worried when you took the bus home. Now you're coming home late at night, which makes me even more worried," said Regis.
The Alpha male scolded him because Noel didn't even contact him to tell him about this. He didn't even call Regis to ask him to pick him up, even though it was already late at night. Considering that Regis himself was busy with work that he had to do all day.
Noel could only sigh and roll his eyes. Seeing how the man was worrying too much about him.
Even though he felt he was already an adult and could handle his own problems.
"Don't roll your eyes at me like that. I'm not joking, I'm serious! If you dare to do it again, I'll have bodyguards follow you wherever you go."
"Okay, okay, I understand."
He promised not to do it again and to let Regis know if he was going to be home late. Even though Regis himself was not satisfied with the answer, because he knew his younger brother's character very well.
However, for now, there was nothing he could do but accept his words and hold him to his promise. He also remembered that the guards at the gate said Noel had been dropped off by someone.
Unfortunately, they didn't know who had dropped Noel off because Alastair hadn't gotten out of the car.
"He's one of my professors at the university. We happened to meet in the campus parking lot, and he offered to drive me home," he replied, looking for an excuse.
Of course, he couldn't say that the person who drove him home was an Alpha he had only known for twice. Regis might get angry and find out about the Alpha.
So he was forced to lie to him, hoping Regis wouldn't pry any further. As an alpha, the man could sense a slight lie in Noel's words. He felt that Noel was just looking for an excuse to avoid further questions.
So he chose not to ask any further questions and told the young man to rest in his room.
"All right then. You can go to your room because I have important business to attend to. I'll have dinner brought to you," said Regis, ruffling Noel's hair.
The man finally left, leaving Noel alone near the front door of the mansion. "Good thing he didn't ask any further questions." He decided to go to his room.
When Noel touched the mattress, he put his headphones back on and lay down on the bed while listening to music. His eyes were closed, which slowly reminded him of the Alpha who had taken him home a few minutes ago.
'Come to think of it, he's a dominant Alpha. He could have used his pheromones to threaten me or do something bad. But he didn't. He... seemed very nice,' Noel thought at that moment.
He knew that most Alphas liked to take advantage of a lone Omega. But he felt that this Alpha was different. He didn't use dirty tricks to get him.
The man remained calm and didn't demand much. Noel paused for a moment as he recalled how Alastair had spoken to him.
Was that what a dominant Alpha was really like?
Calm but so strong.
They weren't as aggressive as many people said.
Or... Was it just him?
The Omega's eyes slowly opened, revealing his orange eyes. He had never felt so calm around an Alpha other than Regis and a few of his subordinates. He always felt alert and somewhat threatened, even around Alphas of his classmates at the academy.
But this time, he felt safe with the unfamiliar Alpha he had met.
"Alastair Vale, huh?" He closed his eyes again, enjoying the music in his ears.
"I guess he's not so bad."

Knock knock
The sound of knocking on the door was heard in the room of a big mafia boss who was currently busy relaxing on his balcony.
Not long after, the same knocking sound was heard again. But this time it was followed by a familiar voice.
"Hey AL, are you in there? It's me."
Alastair glanced at his bedroom door, replied that he was inside, and allowed the man, who was none other than Kenneth, to enter.
After getting permission to enter, Kenneth pushed the door open and found the balcony door to the room open. He knew his cousin loved to sit there and relax at night. He stepped inside and closed the door behind him.
As he approached, he saw Alastair drinking whiskey and watching the gates of his mansion, where his men were busy going about their work.
"So what are you looking for me for? Your voice sounds like we're being attacked by hundreds of enemies." He put down his whiskey glass and lit a cigarette in his hand.
It had been two days since he last saw Noel, and Alastair couldn't get the image of Omega out of his mind. Secretly, he wanted to see Omega again. He wanted to know everything about him, which was a pleasant thought.
"Put that aside. I got what you wanted two days ago. About Omega, the one you wanted me to find information on. I think you should see it," replied Kenneth, standing next to Alastair.
Hearing that, he was like a wolf whose ears perked up with excitement upon hearing the news.
"Ah, finally... I was going crazy waiting for it. So what did you find out, Ken?" He took a deep drag on his cigarette.
Kenneth seemed a little hesitant to share the information he had obtained. He then opened the document he had been carrying in his hand. But since Alastair had been waiting for two days, he had no choice but to read it.
"You should think twice about targeting this Omega. Because I think once you find out who he is, you'll... Never mind, let me read who he is. His name is Noel Ashford, he is 21 years old and he studies at Oscarvia University. He is majoring in business management," said Kenneth, reading the paper in his hand.
"Hmnn... I already suspected that. He is always near that bus stop, so he is indeed a student at that university," said Damian, drinking another glass of whiskey. "Keep going."
Kenneth continued by saying that Noel was a tough Omega. He had once been involved in a fight against three Betas and an Alpha on campus. "And he did it alone."
Alastair's brown eyes showed that he was becoming more interested in learning more about this tough Omega. He had guessed from the beginning that Noel was indeed a brave Omega. And that's what made him very interested.
"I can see it in him. He looks different from the others."
"That's right, and there's one more thing," Kenneth said, reading from the paper he was holding. "He's a member of the Raven Mafia family," he continued.
Alastair's hand paused for a moment as he placed his whiskey glass on the table. He then turned to Kenneth. He felt familiar with Raven Mafia but couldn't remember where he had heard the name.
Could it be a large group like that or something similar?
"Raven Mafia? I think I've heard that name before. Do they have any connection to our group?" he asked.
The blond haired man nodded. "Yes. They have a very clear connection to Griffin."
He paused for a moment before finally continuing his sentence.
"The Raven Mafia is the sworn enemy of the Griffin Mafia."
