Azeroth has far too many magic-using professions!
Rhodes even considered learning Druid, Warlock, and Priest spells later on.
By then, he would wield Holy Light Power in his left hand, Fel Energy in his right, Arcane radiance above his head, Shadow Energy under his control, with Death and Life energies constantly accompanying him.
Truly achieving mastery over the Six Great Forces! It was completely within reach.
Rhodes stood up pleasantly and waved to the people below the mountain.
Time to fleece these two a bit. Paladin spells and Frost Mage spells, here I come!
Originally, Rhodes only intended to snatch some experience, say hello, and leave, but since Eagle Eye was so useful, he absolutely had to seize the opportunity.
Rhodes decided to travel with the two of them!
After seeing his enemy killed, Arthas paused, then looked warily at the blurry figure on the mountaintop, unsure if the person was a friend or foe.
However, the Female Mage first reassured the Little Prince beside her.
Helping them slay the evil Undead meant that this person was at least not an enemy; his actions were benevolent.
Hearing this, Arthas finally sighed in relief, put away his weapon, and nodded slightly toward the distant figure.
His nerves had indeed been too tense just now.
Anyone who would help them was certainly not an enemy.
"I am Arthas Menethil, Prince of Lordaeron.
Thank you very much for your assistance."
The language the other party spoke was clearly neither Chinese nor English, but for some unknown reason, Rhodes could understand it perfectly.
Perhaps it was a benefit gained after traversing worlds, with his body having been digitized and acquiring the Hero Panel!
Rhodes summoned a black steed and rode down.
Although only a few hours had passed since his traversal, he had already studied his Hero attributes.
Like other Heroes, he could ride a horse when moving in the wild, while carrying his army in his personal space.
Once the newcomer arrived, Arthas and the Female Mage both looked surprised.
They had assumed the person who intervened was a powerful mage, but the newcomer's attire was somewhat peculiar.
He was wearing an unfamiliar black short-sleeved shirt embroidered with characters they couldn't understand, along with a pair of shorts, and he didn't even have a staff, making him look extremely odd.
"Good day, both of you.
My name is Rhodes Gryphonheart, I suppose you could call me a traveler."
Rhodes nodded slightly to the two of them.
He really had to thank these two; without them, he wouldn't have been able to learn Holy Light Flash and Frostbolt.
By staying with them, he should be able to learn more Paladin skills or Mage skills, right?
Since he had Eagle Eye, he could certainly learn them by observing a couple of times.
His Eagle Eye seemed slightly different from the one in the game.
Not only could he learn from enemy forces, but he could also learn from allied or neutral units.
"Hello!
Thank you for your help, Lord Rhodes.
My name is Jaina Proudmoore, I hail from Kul Tiras, and I am the daughter of the Alliance Grand Admiral."
She stepped forward and offered a mage salute.
She had just noticed that Rhodes did not perform a mage salute when greeting her and Arthas!
Strange!
Was he not a mage?
Yet the power he had just displayed was indeed a pure form of Arcane Magic, and it was extremely powerful!
It seemed to be an instant-cast type of Arcane Magic, one that she had never even seen in the books in Dalaran!
"So, a princess and a prince combination.
You two are here to investigate the Undead Plague, aren't you?
I am a traveler, and I passed the village ahead and discovered that many villagers consumed contaminated grain, mutated, and all turned into Undead."
Rhodes briefly described the incident in the village ahead.
"What!
Another village defiled by the Cult of the Damned!
Damn it!
If only I had arrived sooner."
Hearing this, Arthas' face turned ashen as he roared in anger.
"Calm down, Arthas, this isn't like you.
We will defeat that Undead Lich named Kel'Thuzad and save your people," Jaina said.
"Thank you, Jaina.
And Lord Rhodes, forgive my presumptuousness, but could you tell me who you are?
Which kingdom do you hail from?"
Arthas asked.
On the surface, the other party was human, but he had never seen a human with black hair and black eyes before, and the person's appearance was clearly different from their own faces.
"I do not come from the Seven Human Kingdoms, but from another distant continent—one so far away you cannot imagine.
Its name is Erathia," Rhodes said.
Rhodes had originally intended to say Pandaria, but Pandaria has Pandaren, no humans!
"Is that so?
Well, thank you for your help.
If we weren't continuing to track the Undead Plague, I would definitely invite you to the Capital City of Lordaeron to personally host you, our guest from afar."
Arthas nodded.
"The Light guides you!
Those evil entities are utterly insane; I personally witnessed their atrocities."
Rhodes raised his hand and cast Holy Light Flash upon himself.
A golden pillar of Holy Light descended from the sky, bathing Rhodes in a dazzling golden glow, making him appear exceptionally sacred.
This Holy Light also enveloped everyone present, making them feel warm all over.
Their recently expended stamina was instantly restored, and all fatigue vanished.
Rhodes discovered that the Holy Light Spells he cast, although only the most basic Holy Light Flash, seemed significantly more potent than the one Arthas had just cast.
Rhodes discreetly checked his system panel.
His two points of Strength attribute provided a 2 times 10 power bonus to Holy Light Flash!
This was equivalent to the multiplier for Magic Divine Arrow, and the healing effect could be doubled.
His Holy Light Flash was practically equivalent to a high tier Holy Light spell.
"The Holy Light protects!
So you are also a user of the Holy Light?"
Arthas visibly relaxed, and his attitude toward Rhodes changed considerably.
People who use the Holy Light are generally not villains, because the Holy Light does not favor any evil entity, especially the Undead.
"That's right, I am also a user of the Holy Light, Prince Arthas.
Perhaps you could hire me to join your mission and help you deal with the Undead," Rhodes said.
"Lord Rhodes, you are welcome to join my team and accept employment from the Royal Family of Lordaeron."
Arthas shook Rhodes' hand warmly.
When fighting the scourge, having someone who uses the Holy Light to help was excellent!
He was very happy to have Rhodes join his team.
"My pleasure, Your Highness."
Rhodes smiled and shook hands with Arthas.
