Chapter 2
Azure.
An endless expanse of azure.
Sea and sky merged into one. Sunlight poured onto the glittering ocean surface, scattering billions of golden flecks that stung the eyes.
Yoru-kawa stood rooted to the spot, staring blankly at the magnificent scene before him.
Deep inside the Land of Fire, Konoha was completely landlocked. Ever since transmigrating into this body, he had never truly seen the ocean.
Only after a long while did he finally snap out of his awe. He took a deep breath and forced himself to calm down and organize his thoughts.
This wasn't the time to stand around in a daze. Surviving came first.
"System."
He silently called in his mind.
The pale-blue virtual panel appeared once more.
[Host: Senju Yoru-kawa]
[Current World: One Piece]
[Anchored World: Naruto]
[Return Cooldown to Naruto World: 6 days, 23 hours, 59 minutes]
"Seven-day cooldown, huh?"
Yoru-kawa nodded inwardly.
So the system wouldn't let him hop freely between worlds whenever he wanted.
Seven days wasn't too long or too short—just enough buffer time to adapt.
Next, he took stock of everything he had on him.
One standard-issue ninja tool pouch containing about twenty shuriken, two sharp kunai, and a stack of explosive tags.
That was all the external gear he could rely on right now.
Then came his own strength.
As a branch-member of the Senju Clan, he had access to high-level technique scrolls that ordinary shinobi would never see in their lifetime.
Add to that the soul of a person from two lives and exceptional comprehension—he had dabbled in all five basic nature transformations (water, earth, fire, wind, lightning) and could use them flexibly.
Because of that, he had been highly regarded by the research-oriented Second Hokage, Senju Tobirama, who even allowed him to begin learning the S-rank space-time ninjutsu Tobirama himself created—Flying Thunder God Technique!
Though the technique's difficulty was absurdly high and he still hadn't fully mastered it, he had at least touched the threshold.
And most importantly: the monstrous physical constitution and colossal chakra reserves passed down through the Senju Clan, descendants of Asura.
His chakra volume far surpassed his peers—greater even than many adult chūnin.
Moreover, nearly every Senju was born with an innate ability to precisely control and explosively release chakra.
They could instantly concentrate chakra into any part of their body and unleash terrifying power!
This was very similar to the superhuman strength technique his future clan sister Tsunade would later develop—only less refined and slightly weaker in output.
"With my current chakra burst strength combined with taijutsu, my instantaneous power should be roughly equivalent to an ordinary fish-man in the One Piece world."
Yoru-kawa quickly built combat models in his head, using Arlong—the tyrant of the East Blue—as his hypothetical opponent.
Arlong fought mainly with the overwhelming strength, teeth, and water-manipulating ability of a fish-man.
Yoru-kawa's shuriken and kunai, combined with explosive tags, could definitely injure him.
In close combat, chakra-enhanced monstrous strength would let him trade blows head-on.
In speed, a shinobi's Body Flicker Technique was absolutely superior.
Add various ninjutsu support into the mix…
He simulated dozens of possible fight scenarios in his mind.
Final conclusion: his current overall combat power was roughly equivalent to a pirate with a bounty of around 30 million berries.
If he faced Arlong directly, even if he couldn't guarantee victory, he could at least exchange several blows—maybe even go 50-50.
Thirty million berries might be nothing in the second half of the Grand Line, but in the Four Blues, that was already the level of a regional powerhouse.
At the very least, he now had the basic ability to protect himself.
So, in this world, how should he continue growing stronger?
"First—Devil Fruits."
That was the first thing that came to mind in this world.
But after seriously thinking for a moment, he shook his head.
"Unless something top-tier like the Rumble-Rumble Fruit or Glint-Glint Fruit is placed right in front of me, I absolutely will not eat one."
The reason was simple: the inability to swim was far too fatal in a world that was 90% ocean!
For a shinobi who relied on mobility and flexibility, turning into a land duck the moment he touched water was tantamount to cutting off his own escape routes.
"Next—Haki."
That was what he valued most.
Observation, Armament, and Conqueror's—each one was immensely powerful and practical.
But whether it was Devil Fruits or Haki, both required opportunity. You couldn't just will them into existence.
Just as Yoru-kawa felt a trace of confusion about his future path to power—
[Ding!]
[Host has successfully arrived in a new world. Clan System fully activated!]
"Hm?" Yoru-kawa froze.
[System Description: This system exists to help the host restore the clan's glory.]
[Host may earn Clan Reputation Points by increasing the clan's prestige.]
[Clan Points can be used in the System Shop to exchange for items, abilities, bloodlines, knowledge… from all the heavens and myriad worlds.]
There was such a good thing?!
Overjoyed, Yoru-kawa immediately opened the system interface.
A shop interface so dazzling it nearly blinded him unfolded before his eyes!

Every single top-tier power from both worlds was now neatly lined up in front of him like goods on a supermarket shelf!
Looking at Wood Release and the Rinnegan at the very top of the list—each requiring an astronomical number of points—Yoru-kawa trembled with excitement.
"So this is what my real golden finger looks like?"
After the initial surge of exhilaration, absolute calm returned.
The system was powerful, and the future path was clear.
But everything hinged on one premise—staying alive.
"Right now, I need to figure out three things."
He rapidly organized his thoughts.
Exactly where am I right now? What point in the timeline is this?Is there any danger on this island?
Yoru-kawa stood up, brushed the sand off his clothes, and looked toward the other side of the bay.
There, he could faintly make out the silhouettes of scattered buildings and ship masts. It looked like a small port town.
That place should have the answers he needed.
