While Theeran was traveling in his car, two cars suddenly blocked his path. His driver stopped the car in confusion. Theeran too was bewildered by this.
A group of thugs appeared from somewhere, surrounded Theeran's car, and attacked it with guns. The car was bulletproof, so it remained undamaged.
Therefore, the thugs stopped shooting. As the area became silent amidst a cloud of smoke, the leader of the group got out of the car opposite and approached.
Standing directly in front of Theeran's car, he said mockingly, "What's wrong, hero? Everyone said you'd attack like a storm. But you're hiding inside?" There was no movement from the car. Angrily, he said, "Oh dear, it seems our hero is scared. Hmm... of course, he has to be scared, right? You little boy, do you think you can control us? Come out, you'll see what happens!" he began to shout.
Just then, he looked up upon hearing a voice say, "What will you do if I come out, Uncle?" It was Theeran, who was stylishly getting out of the car. With a slight curl of his lips, he said, "Uncle, it seems you can't speak loudly because of your age. I couldn't hear a single word of what you've been saying," and then he suddenly shot him below the waist with the black gun he held in his hand.
Stunned by this unexpected attack, he stumbled and ordered his men, "Hey, beat that boy to a pulp!" Everyone aimed their guns at Theeran. But Theeran, without a trace of fear in his eyes, looked them straight in the face. "Hmm... come on, it's been a long time since I had a fight. Let's consider this a training session," he said, looking at them with a sharp gaze. "Anyone who values their life, run away now! If you don't, your life won't remain in your body," he warned, raising his gun and firing at them. The bullet struck a man's head.
Some of them froze in their tracks. He watched them in surprise. Could a child shoot so accurately? While the leader of the group was wondering this in amazement, Theeran said mockingly, "What, you're scared and stopped after just one shot? Do I look that frightening?"
The leader threatened, "Hey, you've become such a child! If we deal with you softly, you're mocking us? It seems what the boss said is true. He said you're not a child, but a little devil. Surrender to us properly. Otherwise, I'm going to crush and kill you with my own hands right now."
Theeran, while rubbing his cheek with the gun he held, said, "If I were afraid of such threats, this Theeran wouldn't have been able to step into the business world and achieve so much at such a young age." Then he suddenly blew a whistle.
The next moment, a large crowd, armed with guns, surrounded them like a wall. Seeing this, the enemies recoiled in fear. Theeran said emphatically, "Uncle, go and tell your boss that you can't even get close to Theeran's shadow. And if they try to get close, death will be their reward," and then he got into his car and drove away.
The car stopped directly in front of a huge office building. Theeran got out and quickly went inside. Since his assistant Vimal was absent, Theeran went alone, followed by two bodyguards for his protection. He entered the boardroom where the board meeting was taking place without any prior announcement.
Seeing him suddenly appear, some shareholders became anxious. Theeran walked straight to his seat and sat down majestically, his piercing gaze sweeping across everyone present. Everyone there broke into a cold sweat out of fear. Yet, trying not to show their fear, they pretended to be calm. Just then, Yukesh entered, opening the door, and sat down next to Theeran.
Now, the meeting room was so silent that even a breath could be heard. Then, breaking the silence, Theeran's clear voice rang out, "Whoever wants their share back, stand up and move to the side."
There were a total of 20 shareholders. Among them, Theeran, Yukesh, and Thomas were the primary shareholders; only after them could the other shareholders make decisions. Then, one man rose from his seat and asked, "Theeran, are we school students? Why are you telling us to stand up separately? Thomas is such a powerful man, if even he doesn't have security in this company, what about us?"
He continued, "Earlier, everyone would tremble at the mere mention of this company's name, but now a mere youngster is the CEO of this company? They've started opposing us with such audacity, thinking what can he possibly do? I'm not saying you're not running the company well. But your age, that's the problem here. We are so many people here; appoint one of us as the head of this company," he said.
Others...
The shareholders echoed his words. Theeran watched them silently. But Yukesh retorted, "What are you saying, Mr. Boopalan? For so many years, Theeran has been running this company. In fact, it was Theeran who, with his skills, brought this company, which was running at a loss, to a good position. Didn't you know then that he was a young man? Or are you saying this knowing that he wants to become the CEO of this company?" As Yukesh questioned him sharply, Boopalan's face immediately changed.
It was true; he had deliberately made these accusations against Theeran. He was the one who had used Thomas's murder to create a negative impression of Theeran in the minds of the other shareholders and instigated them to demand a division of shares.
He hadn't expected Yukesh to figure it out somehow. As he wondered what to say now, Theeran opened his mouth and said sternly, "Hmm... quickly, all of you who asked for your shares, please come forward." As soon as Theeran said this, half of the shareholders stood up and moved aside.
Theeran looked at all of them, then turned to Yukesh and said, "Yukesh, divide all their shares right now and give them to them. Also, get a written statement from them that they have no further connection with this company. From now on, none of them should come to this office." Everyone, including Boopalan, was shocked.
Yukesh immediately instructed his assistant, summoned the company's lawyer, and legally divided and distributed the shares. The file containing their shares was handed to the ten people. They had not expected this to happen so quickly. Especially for Boopalan, his situation had turned into a story of someone who craved power but ended up on the streets. Immediately, he looked at Theeran and shouted, unable to contain his disappointment, "Theeran, you shouldn't do this! Do you know that we have been shareholders in this company for a very long time? Go and ask your grandfather; he'll tell you how important our contribution was to this company."
Theeran looked at him and calmly asked, "Boopalan, Grandfather, I was somewhere in India. You unnecessarily made me come here and asked for the shares, and I've already distributed them. But why are you shouting now?"
Boopalan didn't know what to say. He stood there like a thief stung by a scorpion. Theeran now got up from his chair, stood on the table, and raised his voice.
"What did you think of me? Do you think I'll be afraid if you threaten me by asking for shares? I am Theeran, Bhadran's son. I don't even know what fear is!" As he said this, pointing his finger, Yukesh looked at him in shock, saying, "Bhadran?"
Theeran looked at Boopalan and said, "Grandfather, you've got what you wanted, haven't you? Now, you and those who were flattering you, leave this place immediately," he said, practically chasing them away. Boopalan's face turned dark with humiliation.
Yet, he couldn't do anything, could he? So, keeping his anger in his heart, he glared at Theeran and left. The other ten people also left with him. Now, with only Theeran, Yukesh, and the other shareholders in the room, Theeran looked at them and said, "Thank you very much for trusting me and supporting me. Our company won't go down just because they took their shares and left."
"It will only progress to an even greater level. I take responsibility for that. Everyone who left now are like poisonous germs; we don't know when or how they will attack. So, their departure is actually very good for us. There are many people outside waiting to invest in our company. I will meet and talk to some of them," Theeran said, encouraging the other shareholders.
After listening to him, they said, "Theeran, you don't need to explain. We know about you. You are running the business much better than your grandfather. We will never be an obstacle." Theeran nodded his head as if to say thank you.
Just then, his phone rang. He picked it up and saw that it was Bhadran calling. In the bustling meeting room, Theeran raised his hand and said "Silence," and everyone quietly looked at him.
Theeran answered the call and said, "Hello." On the other end, Mullai's voice sharply asked, "Theeran, where are you? We haven't seen you since morning. What's so important? You left without even telling your mother, where did you go?"
Theeran, who had handled the business matters so calmly, was now confused, not knowing what to say to his mother. He remained silent for a few seconds, and Mullai's anger on the other end increased.
