Chapter 1 - CHAPTER-1:SPLIT BY FATE

The world measured worth in a single way—mana.

From the noblest bloodlines to the humblest commoners, everyone was ranked by the power flowing through their veins. Yet, once in a generation, a hidden gem would rise from obscurity, a commoner gifted with strength rivaling the elite. Such people were rare… but respected as equals.

Alexander Valmont was supposed to be one of those rare miracles.

Instead, he was born with a curse.

A curse so dangerous that the Valmont family—the ruling house of the Nytheris Kingdom—sent him away as a child to protect both sons. And to keep him hidden.

He was raised in Eldoria, a trusted allied kingdom of Nytheris. Far from politics. Far from danger.

Far from his twin brother.Lucas Valmont, the present heir of Nytheris, grew up with nothing but a blurry childhood memory and a lingering ache in his chest. He wasn't allowed to visit. Not even once.

Their fates had been sealed the day Alexander's right eye awakened—

the Red Eye, the vessel of Ravak, a chaotic force capable of consuming its host.

Meanwhile, Lucas inherited the Golden Eye, symbol of Glyssa, the divine counterpart.

Blessing and curse.

Light and void.

Two souls destined to walk opposite paths…

…and yet born as twins.

Eldoria — 6 Years Later

Alexander stood quietly beneath the morning sun, scarf wrapped tightly around his face, hiding everything above his nose. Only his calm, unreadable eyes showed.Today was his evaluation for Crestwinter Academy, Eldoria's top combat and sorcery institution. The place where elites trained… and where Alexander hoped to live quietly without drawing attention.

A faint, warm voice echoed from within him.

"You're nervous again."

It was Glyssa—the golden light residing within Alexander.

Cunning, observant, and annoyingly good at reading emotions.

"Not now," Alexander muttered.

Another voice burst out with carefree laughter.

"Relax, kid. What's the worst that could happen? You blow up the arena again?"

That was Ravak, the red-eyed chaos sealed inside him—loud, passionate, and way too excited during dangerous moments.

Alexander sighed. "Both of you… stay quiet while I'll take this test."
