Li Mo spoke these words so casually, as if he were simply sending the mayor back to the Spring of Rebirth.
The town mayor was stunned for a moment, his mind hadn't even processed what was happening, but his body had already instinctively turned around and rushed out.
The next second, Li Mo's black figure rushed out.
Yin Xiu slowly looked up at the sky. It had been a long time since he had seen this dungeon town at night. It was still as quiet as before, without the sounds of players or eerie noises.
Tonight, however, there were more screams from the town mayor.
I reckon those hidden monsters will have an extra layer of psychological trauma, and from now on, the fear of the God of Slaughter will spread again, but this time it will have to spread along with Li Mo.
That terrifying god of death has returned to the dungeon, this time with an even more terrifying companion who can easily defeat the dungeon boss, making him extremely frightening.
Once Li Mo had finished dealing with the situation, he wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth and slowly strolled back to Yin Xiu's side. Following Yin Xiu's gaze, he looked up at the sky and asked softly, "What is my boyfriend looking at?"
"Look at the starry sky." Yin Xiu answered casually, "The background of this town is a replica of the sky from before. Back then, there were many stars, the nights were very beautiful, and the wind was cool. It was a good place."
Li Mo nodded in agreement, "I like it too."
"I want to see starry skies like this with you in the future," Yin Xiu said abruptly.
Li Mo trembled slightly, struggling to suppress the urge to explode and move, and maintained a smile, "Okay."
He knew it, he understood! In human terms, this was an invitation to spend the future together! His boyfriend was definitely liking him more and more!
The two of them stood there leisurely, gazing at the starry sky, enjoying the night breeze, feeling very relaxed and sweet.
The eerie creature in the dark corner trembled with fear. Such a heartwarming scene would have been perfect if it weren't for the bloody mess beside it! How could anyone be whispering sweet nothings next to the dismembered mayor?! That's just too much!
The eerie, silent screams added another layer of psychological trauma; I never want to see those two people again!
After the wind had died down, Yin Xiu calculated the time and realized it was time to return to the town.
He doesn't know many people or ghosts. He can see those people when he returns to the town. He only needs to come out and see two ghosts.
As he was thinking about how to turn around and leave with Li Mo, he suddenly caught a glimpse of a figure standing in the darkness not far away.
The figure was very tall and dressed in all black. He stood there motionless, almost blending into the night. If it weren't for the conspicuous keys hanging from his waist, Yin Xiu would have had a hard time noticing him there.
"It's the warden," Yin Xiu murmured softly.
Li Mo smiled and said, "I noticed it, but he didn't seem to be coming over, so I ignored him."
Li Mo still disliked this strange creature, but unlike the town mayor, he was not so flamboyant. He did dislike the false illusions and attacks in Bliss City, but in a sense, this person had seen through some of Yin Xiu's inner thoughts, but his way of doing things was extreme.
Yin Xiu looked up and met the warden's gaze. He didn't say anything, but simply nodded calmly and smiled.
He recalled all his memories, and naturally remembered the warden who had first spoken to him, and the lowly jailer who had asked him what he wanted most.
At the time, he didn't understand why the dying monster in front of him was asking this question. Years later, when he went to Elysium, he understood.
But he didn't like that kind of fake stuff.
After a faint smile, Yin Xiu returned to his expressionless calm, but the warden's expression became complicated.
He simply watched Yin Xiu from afar, and after surveying Yin Xiu, his gaze fell on Li Mo.
He stared at the two of them thoughtfully for a long time, neither approaching nor speaking, and finally slowly took a step back and disappeared into the darkness.
Yin Xiu didn't know if he had gotten the answer he wanted, but he didn't care what he was thinking. Anyway, he was unlikely to go to the City of Bliss again, and there probably wouldn't be any jailers foolish enough to drag him in again.
"You went back?" Li Mo tugged at Yin Xiu's little finger to bring him back to his senses and asked softly.
"Okay, let's go back." Yin Xiu nodded and left the dungeon town with Li Mo, preparing to return to Town 35.
The two of them bid a temporary farewell to everything here and returned to the small town.
No one knows what happened to the 35 townspeople after they cried to Ye Tianxuan, but now they all turned their grief into motivation, putting up banners in the town, sending them off on their new journey while busy preparing things for them.
Some players were still crying and sobbing to Ye Tianxuan, some were asking Zhong Mu about some preparation items, some were discussing how to deal with the dungeon players in town after Ye Tianxuan was gone, and some were training.
When the goddess appeared that night and entered into negotiations with Yin Xiu and the others, the crisis in the town was temporarily resolved.
However, they were also unable to leave the town, so they temporarily began to focus on health and wellness in the small town.
Unsure when they might face new dangers, they needed to maintain their physical fitness, exercising while gazing at Ye Tianxuan, and then bursting into tears.
When Yin Xiu returned, he found the town square to be incredibly eerie, with only the strange creatures sitting to the side appearing relatively harmonious.
Night Goddess held the black cat, Mu He sat to the side, and 408 sat far away in a corner, scrutinizing the strange players in the town.
Mu He stared at Zhong Mu, Black Cat and Night Goddess stared at Ye Tianxuan, and 408 stared at the players. In a sense, the division of labor was clear and quite harmonious.
Upon seeing Yin Xiu return, someone began to loudly greet him, "Brother Xiu!! You're back!"
Some enthusiastic players had already rushed up, while others were more reserved, calling out from behind. Yin Xiu's status as the God of Slaughter was unshakeable, and he was still quite unapproachable in the minds of some veteran players. However, the newcomers had only met Yin Xiu before entering the dungeon after a period of retirement, so they naturally felt more relaxed.
As soon as Yin Xiu returned to the town, he was warmly welcomed by the players. He was no longer like before, when he was avoided by everyone wherever he went.
"Boss Ye said you just got back and need to rest, so he wants you to set off later. We're not ready yet either, so Brother Xiu, you should go back first." The town's players were noisy, welcoming him back while seeing him off.
Yin Xiu nodded silently. He did indeed want to go back and get some sleep so that he wouldn't be too tired when he went to a new and unfamiliar place and his sword-drawing movements wouldn't be smooth.
Li Mo nodded happily, and was about to follow Yin Xiu when a player suddenly tugged at her clothes.
The player glanced around and whispered, "Well... when I was drunk earlier, I didn't expect things to develop this way. The book I gave you..."
The player muttered to himself, "One book probably isn't enough for you. Shall I get you a few more before you leave?"
