Chapter 25 - Chapter 144 Yu Xiaogang, Terrified

"Oscar, where do you plan to go from here?"

A gentle voice came from behind.

Oscar looked up and saw Zhu Zhu standing not far away, quietly watching him.

"Zhu Qing, it's you." Oscar slowly raised his head.

Under the brim of his hat, his once sunny and handsome face now looked extremely haggard. His eyes were bloodshot, his eye sockets were slightly red, and his lips were chapped.

  "I…"

Oscar's voice was a little hoarse, as if carrying endless loss and confusion.

"I don't know either. Maybe I should leave here and go somewhere where no one knows me."

His gaze went beyond the city gate and onto the street. The street was bustling with traffic and people, and laughter constantly reached his ears.

But all of this felt out of place for Oscar.

"Why don't you go to the Star Luo Empire?"

As she spoke, Zhu Zhu took out a token from her soul tool.

"Your talent shouldn't be buried. Even though you're missing an arm now, in my heart you're still the most talented support-type Soul Master on the entire continent."

Oscar smiled bitterly and shook his head. "Right now, I just want to go out for a walk, clear my head. I have no interest in joining any faction."

  "But, Zhu Qing, thank you."

As he spoke, Oscar's eyes reddened again. His only remaining right hand clenched unconsciously, his knuckles turning white from the force.

  "Take it, Oscar."

Zhu Zhu Qing stepped forward and stuffed the token directly into his pocket.

"I didn't mean to force you. If you ever get tired of playing around, the Xingluo Zhu family will always welcome you." Zhu Zhu Qing chuckled.

After saying that, she didn't linger and turned to walk into the city.

Oscar took the token out of his pocket and watched Zhu Zhu Qing's gradually disappearing figure, a warmth suddenly rising in his heart.

He never expected that this classmate, with whom he had barely spoken a few words, would come to see him off.

Oscar tucked the token into his pocket and turned to continue his journey.

"Xiao Gang, where exactly is the Heaven Dou Royal Academy in the city?" Flander asked the Grandmaster while looking at the map.

The Grandmaster shook his head. "I don't know either."

Although Yu Xiaogang came from a prominent family, his talent was so low that he was always laughed at when he went out.

Therefore, he spent his youth cultivating within his clan and rarely went out.

Flander smiled wryly. "Then we'll just have to go to Heaven Dou City first and then ask someone."

Ning Rongrong knew the location of Heaven Dou Academy, but she was too lazy to talk about it now. Besides, she didn't plan to continue following Shrek Academy.

The battle in Silvers City shattered the already weak friendships within Shrek Academy.

Tang San didn't react much to Oscar's departure. In his heart, Oscar was just a classmate. Parting ways with friends was perfectly normal.

Since Xiao Wu's disappearance, Tang San's heart had gradually closed off.

Apart from his two fathers, hidden weapons, and poison, nothing else could concern him.

Dai Mubai and Ma Hongjun felt some regret, but when it came to the fact that Oscar was injured because of Ma Hongjun's cowardice, they fell silent.

Ning Rongrong and Zhu Zhuqing wanted to persuade him to stay; after Oscar's 'disappearance,' they suggested that Flander go outside the city to look for him.

However, Flander didn't react much beyond a sigh.

In fact, several teachers had more or less noticed Oscar's strange behavior. His clumsy acting was completely exposed in Flander's shrewd eyes.

However, Flander still favored his brother.

Although Oscar was very talented, he was still just a student. If he continued to stay at Shrek Academy, Yu Xiaogang's situation would be somewhat awkward.

So, Flander simply pretended not to know.

Since the dean had made his stance clear, the teachers naturally wouldn't say anything more. In a sense, they were just there to retire at the academy.

The group arrived outside the city gate, and just as they were about to enter the city, they saw a huge announcement on the bulletin board.

"Blue Tyrant Advanced Soul Master Academy is recruiting teachers. Applicants must be Soul Masters of level 40 or above. Those with high Soul Power will be given priority. Excellent benefits will be offered upon hiring."

"Why is this academy's advertisement even on the city gate bulletin board? How much does it cost?!" Flander said, somewhat surprised.

"Blue Tyrant?" Yu Xiaogang stroked his chin, suddenly finding the name familiar.

At this moment, Flander looked at Yu Xiaogang, a mocking smile appearing in his eyes. "Xiaogang, you used to be in Heaven Dou City. What do you think of Blue Tyrant Academy?"

Yu Xiaogang shook his head. "I don't know, I just feel that the name..."

Before he could finish speaking, a whooshing sound suddenly came from mid-air.

Everyone looked up and saw several streaks of light rapidly approaching the city gate.

At the same time, Flander and the other three teachers released their Martial Souls simultaneously. They sensed that they were suddenly locked onto by an aura.

  "That's...!"

Flander's eyes widened instantly, a hint of astonishment flashing in his eyes. His body leaned forward slightly, his muscles tense, as if he had seen something terrifying.

Upon seeing this, Yu Xiaogang frowned. Having spent decades with Flander, he was intimately familiar with Flander's habits.

Flander's current demeanor was clearly a sign that he was preparing to escape.

In the blink of an eye, three figures appeared above the city gate.

The one on the left had a somewhat withered face and a very tall stature, at least three meters high. If Lu Feng were here, he would recognize him immediately as the Soul Douluo who had given him the Seven Treasures Token.

The middle-aged man on the right was somewhat thin, with a cold and stern expression, looking like a drawn sword.

The man in the very center appeared to be an old man with an ancient and simple appearance, a face as delicate as a baby's, and long silver hair neatly combed down his back.

His expression was indifferent; he simply stood there quietly, yet gave off an aura of absolute superiority.

What was truly astonishing was that none of the three had released their Martial Souls; instead, they stood suspended in mid-air.

"They are all at least Soul Douluo level or higher!"

Tang San exclaimed inwardly, looking at the three imposing figures in mid-air.

Grandmaster had once taught him that, apart from flying-type Soul Masters, anyone else who wanted to fly needed at least level eighty Soul Power.

  Level eighty!

A strange excitement welled up inside Tang San. He hadn't expected to encounter such powerful figures so soon after arriving in Heaven Dou City.

"I wonder how these people compare to the inner sect elders of the Tang Sect in my past life?"

Tang San quickly lowered his head, not daring to look again.

The three landed slowly on the ground. The thin middle-aged man's eyes were cold as he said in a deep voice, "Who is Flander? Who is Yu Xiaogang?"

  "Coming for me?"

Flander's heart skipped a beat, as if struck by a heavy hammer.

But he quickly regained his composure, took a step forward, and said, "I am Flander. What business do you seniors have with me and Xiaogang?"

"Hmph!" The middle-aged man narrowed his eyes slightly and snorted coldly.

Flander shuddered instantly. He felt as if an invisible sword had slashed his throat. Beads of sweat instantly rolled down his forehead, and his face turned deathly pale.

  "Thump!"

Flander's body completely lost control, his legs gave way, and he collapsed to the ground. He struggled to his feet, but felt as if his martial spirit was disobeying him.

"Flander!" Several teachers cried out upon seeing this.

They had been friends with Flander for over ten years, and although they couldn't defeat him, they were unwilling to sit idly by and wait to die.

At this moment, the middle-aged man glanced at them.

"Thump, thump!" The teachers' bodies completely lost control, and they fell to the ground one after

another. "Who exactly are you gentlemen? If Flander has offended you in any way, I hope you will forgive him. At least, at least spare my student."

"Hmph! You do have some sense of loyalty." The middle-aged man sneered and withdrew his soul power pressure.

The teachers felt the mountain-like pressure on their bodies vanish instantly, and they quickly scrambled to their feet.

However, they looked rather disheveled. They were covered in dust, their clothes were disheveled, as if they had just escaped from the Soul Beast Forest.

"Thank you for your mercy, senior. May I ask your names?" Flander bowed respectfully.

Flander had seen several experts above the Soul Douluo level.

However, this was the first time he had ever seen someone who could defeat him with just a glance.

Facing this man, Flander felt as if he were facing a sharp sword, a drawn sword, its edge fully revealed, thrusting directly at him.

"Seven Treasure Glazed Tile School, Chen Yu," the middle-aged man said coldly.

"So it's Senior Chen, I've heard so much about you." Flander raised his head, a standard shrewd businessman's smile appearing on his face.

Flander had naturally heard of Chen Yu, but in the Soul Master world, especially among the major sects, everyone knew the name Heavenly Sword Chen Yu.

He was a member of the Sword Douluo clan, and by seniority, he was Chen Xin's nephew.

With a Soul Power of eighty-eight levels and unparalleled swordsmanship, he was arguably the strongest fighter in the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile School, second only to the two Guardian Douluos.

"Which of you is Yu Xiaogang?" Chen Yu stared at the remaining teachers and said coldly.

His eyes casually swept over the three of them. He felt he had heard the name somewhere before, but couldn't quite place it.

The group had come to take Ning Rongrong home.

Gu Lin had told him that Ning Rongrong had been injured in a battle, and the situation had been extremely urgent; Gu Lin had almost intervened himself.

If it were just a normal sparring match, it wouldn't be so bad, but Ning Rongrong's injury was entirely due to the teachers' foolish decisions.

The members of that so-called "Fierce God Team" had already been killed by Gu Lin. As an elder who had watched Ning Rongrong grow up, Chen Yu felt he had to do something.

Otherwise, he would be at a disadvantage in front of Gu Lin in the future.

The three teachers didn't answer, but instead turned their gazes behind them.

Suddenly, a foul odor filled their nostrils.

"Ugh, what's that smell!" Ning Rongrong gagged, quickly pulling Zhu Zhuqing along, and hurriedly walked away.

Everyone looked troubled and scattered, avoiding the source of the odor as if it were a plague.

In an instant, the crowd that had been gathered together cleared a large area. Only Yu Xiaogang remained standing there, looking particularly out of place.

His feet were now wet, and a pool of pale yellow liquid was slowly spreading outwards from his feet.
