POV: KIERAN
Timeline: Immediately after the dreams
Location: Nocterra → Communication with Tidelands
It's three in the morning when Ravion sets up the emergency communication mirror.
I'm still shaking. Still feeling the ghost of that water-shadow cage.
The mirror flares.
Nyx appears, looking equally shaken. Behind him, I can see Kaelis—pale, scared, wrapped in a blanket.
"You had the dream too," Nyx says immediately.
"Yes," Ravion confirms. "Kieran woke up screaming about Isolde and three days and—"
"The eclipse," I interrupt. "The Oracle said something about an eclipse."
"There's a lunar eclipse in three days," Nyx says grimly. "When my powers weaken."
"And the shadows strengthen," Ravion adds.
They look at each other.
Some silent understanding passes between them.
"She's going to attack," Nyx says.
"Both realms," Ravion agrees.
"Simultaneously."
"During the eclipse."
"When we're both weakest."
I look at the mirror. At Kaelis.
"We had the same dream," I say.
"Yeah," Kaelis confirms. His voice is rough. "Every detail. The water. The chains. Her face."
"The Oracle warning us."
"Three days."
Then Ravion says: "We need to meet. Now. All four of us. Make a plan."
"Agreed," Nyx says. "The neutral ground. One hour."
"We'll be there."
The mirror goes dark.
I'm already getting dressed, hands shaking as I pull on clothes.
"Hey." Ravion catches my hands. "Look at me."
I do.
"We're not going to let her take you," he says firmly. "Do you understand? Whatever she's planning, whatever happens—I will keep you safe."
"You can't promise that."
"Watch me." His eyes glow red. "I didn't kill six assassins just to lose you to your psychotic mother. You're mine, Kieran. And I protect what's mine."
Despite the fear & everything—
I believe him.
