What in the world happened here " , James said as his body shook in shock when he saw a pile of scattered dead , ripped and torn bodies everywhere" " I can't believe it l can't even sense any energy in here , The energy I'm sensing is absolute Zero , were we late or was the one who did this too fast," Sakura said as she looked in disbelief. " To think that someone would do this a person would actually do this why ? , No it can't be a human I can't imagine a human do this , whatever or whoever did this is unforgivable he or she deserves to die", James said angrily with no intent of remorse. " Seems like we are dealing with a serious issue here , James let's search the area", Sakura said as she led the way. They started to search every floor in the mall but ti no avail. " I don't think we will find anyone here we were late , but Mclane said as if the issue was still at hand perhaps he was wro ....". " No he was not it's been just 3 minutes before we arrived ,to think that someone will be that fast to kill hundreds of people in that span of time is impossible , Lets keep on searching I'm sure we will find something", Sakura said. They kept on searching and finally they reached the top floor but to their surprise there was not even a single sign of a living or dead person.
" Hmm this is weird , James let's go to the lower floors again and search one more time ", Sakura said as she started going , when James followed whilst on their way to the elevator a voice suddenly sounded from nowhere. " Did you hear that ", James said. " Yeah I did it sounded like a kid or a little girl , Hmm maybe we're hearing things. Before they went inside the voice became higher and a little girl appeared saying, " Help me I want my mommy ", The girl was crying showing that she was in need of help indeed.
James felt a sigh of relief for he saw someone who was alive with no hesitation James ram towards the girl and hugged her saying that it was okay and she didn't need to fear because they had came to save her. " James "., Sakura said as she went to them and pulled James away from the little girl. Sakura then said to the little girl whilst looking at the girl straight in the eye , " Who are you ". " James was confused and said, " Sakura Watchu talking about this isn't the right time to say all these things. " James this is an imposter , little girl where were you hiding. " I was in the toilets then I heard some people screaming and the noises warent right so I just kept hiding in the bathroom", the little girl said. " Hmm to think of it a little girl like you couldn't go to the toilets alone well .... " Sakura said as she clenched her fist and punched the girl in the face with force enough to throw her away and hit a concrete wall.
" Sakuraaaaaaaa what's wrong with you is could you do that". " Shut up and watch " , Sakura said whilst folding her hands in confidence. " When I said we should go to the lower floor again , l senses no sign of energy in here and on top of that I used my scanner which has an omnidirectional sensor but somehow this girl didn't appear which means there is a hunch. Suddenly the little girl started to transform and started clapping her hands. " Well well seems like you figured it all out to think l was gonna backstab y'all hahahaha " , the monster said as she spit a tooth and laughed. " Well then aren't you ashamed that a girl figured your whole plan out , now who are you ", Sakura said with a serious face.
" Hmf you can call me Chameleon, to think of it I was a human and my real mission was to help the human race then my experiment backfired but it opened my mind to see that humans are vile and horrible creatures that need no remorse , I then realized that my normal meal wasn't going to satisfy me and l needed some blood , Human blood to be exact so what better way to fill my thirst and hunger than a mall full of tasty humans, hey boy wanna know what happened to the girl ", the monster said with a grin on his face. " James became angry and clenched his fist in anger. " Your anger won't care me boy here is a souvenir ", Chameleon said as he tossed a little girl's arm at him. The monster then laughed at James and with no hesitation James shot a blast at the monster's face but suddenly the monster disappeared from their sight . " Of course he can turn in invisible " , Sakura said.
" James I want you to calm yourself this guy wants to play with your mind , you're a Nexus member remember so fear and confusion aren't an option", Sakura said right after she slapped James at the back. " So he can turn invisible what if we just blow th....", before James finished talking he was struck with a strong blow in the gut. " What the aha agaha " , James couldn't put our normal words from his mouth because of the pain that's when Sakura realized that the enemy wasn't turning invisible but he was erasing his presence completely. " Hahahaha your fate was decided the moment you came to this mall to investigate now you will suffer the same fate as these dead people" , Chameleon said as his tongue slid out from his mouth , " By the way there is no way you can touch or catch me I have the ability to...." , before he could finish speaking Sakura finished it for him in a way that showed she knew what was happening
