Chapter 10 - Chapter 10: Come to My Place

"Ha~" Stelle slowly exhaled, walking out of the tavern in a daze.

In the end, although she repeatedly promised to bring the Mora later, Diona still generously treated Stelle with an expression of 'I can't do anything with you.'

However, there was a price.

She had to visit Diona often, find time to play with her, sunbathe with her, and catch fish for her to eat.

Of course, all of the above were Stelle's own interpretations, not Diona's exact words.

That shy and tsundere little cat girl would never speak so directly.

However, her interpretation should be correct.

In any case, after sitting in the tavern all afternoon, she should go find Amber and the others.

It was already late, and there weren't many people at the Hunter's Deer restaurant, so Stelle easily found Stelle and Amber's table.

"Hey~ Stelle!" Paimon saw Stelle and immediately waved at him.

Stelle also quickly walked over to them and sat down.

The food hadn't arrived yet, so it seemed they had just arrived not long ago.

"Stelle, where have you been all afternoon?" Paimon asked curiously, saying what Lumine wanted to say first.

Lumine rolled her eyes at Paimon, but didn't say anything more, just silently watched Stelle, waiting for her answer.

"Oh, I spent the whole afternoon at the Cat's Tail Tavern," Stelle scratched her head awkwardly.

She had originally said she planned to explore the city and get to know this vast Mondstadt City well.

But in the end, she didn't expect to lose track of time chatting with Diona at the Cat's Tail Tavern.

"Ah? You went drinking?!" Amber looked at Stelle in surprise.

Although she wasn't quite sure of Stelle's age, his face still clearly showed youth, so he probably wasn't an adult yet.

"No, no, didn't you say the bartender there was especially cute? So I went to check it out..." Stelle quickly waved her hands.

"Oh, I see," Amber sighed in relief upon hearing this.

"So, what's the result? What kind of person is the bartender?" Paimon continued to ask curiously.

"Hmm..." Stelle stroked her chin, thinking seriously.

Diona, a calico cat with cute dot eyebrows, a classic tsundere.

Overall, she was...

"Very cute!" Stelle nodded earnestly.

"Haha, I told you so~" Amber laughed happily.

"You can also go see for yourselves later; I think that child will like you," Stelle thought for a moment, then said to Lumine.

"Mm."

"Enough about me, what about you two? What did you do after seeing the Acting Grand Master?" Stelle asked them.

"We went to the Temple of the Four Winds," Lumine spoke before Paimon, otherwise, Paimon would probably have spoken for her again.

She would not give up the chance to talk to Lumine.

"The Temples of the Four Winds?" Lumine tilted her head.

This was another piece of knowledge she didn't quite understand, and Amber took the opportunity to explain it to Lumine.

Stormterror was currently able to whip up such a fierce storm by utilizing the residual power within those abandoned temples.

"You all really work hard," Lumine couldn't help but exclaim.

Compared to her leisurely afternoon at the tavern, Lumine and Amber were clearly much more exhausted.

Just then, the dishes they ordered were brought to the table.

Among them was Paimon's long-awaited Honey-Glazed Carrot Stew.

"We only visited one today, and we have to continue tomorrow," Paimon's eyes sparkled, and a faint drool even trickled from his mouth, making his words a little slurred.

"Well, do you need my help?" Lumine hesitated for a moment, then asked the two of them.

Although she couldn't use elemental power, the power of the Destruction Path wasn't that simple, and dealing with a few monsters was no problem.

If Alisa Rand's lance were still with her, it would be great. With her Preservation Path, if she got a red glass orb, cosplaying as a Vision wielder of the Pyro element would also be fine.

Unfortunately, all she had with her now was a baseball bat; she was a physical character.

"It's okay, there's actually no danger, it's just a trip," Amber refused Lumine's suggestion without hesitation.

In her opinion, Lumine was, after all, an "ordinary person" who didn't have a Vision and couldn't use elemental power.

Even though she had shown off a bit before, knocking Hilichurls flying with that strange stick.

But those were, after all, just ordinary Hilichurls.

Hilichurls have very weak combat power and pose no threat to anyone with even a little bit of strength.

But inside the temples, it was much more dangerous, and Amber didn't want Lumine to get involved in this matter.

And Lumine also nodded in agreement.

Unlike Amber, she knew Lumine's true strength.

But she still had no intention of letting Lumine join.

On one hand, as Amber said, there was no danger in this matter; it was just a trip and didn't require much effort.

On the other hand, it was her selfish motive.

Lumine's fatal attraction to her was simply too strange, and she was a bit afraid to continue traveling with Lumine.

Now she could still restrain herself, but if they stayed together for too long, something might happen.

"Alright, let's eat quickly, I'm starving," Paimon wiggled his little bottom and said to them expectantly.

The food was all here, why weren't they eating yet?

"Right, right, let's eat. Lumine, try our Mondstadt's special cuisine, you should like it," Amber said with a smile, then placed a plate of Fisherman's Toast in front of Lumine.

"Hmm, thank you," Lumine nodded. Since neither of them intended for her to accompany them, she didn't insist.

She could tell that these two weren't distrusting her; Amber was simply worried about her, and Lumine... seemed to have some other reason.

Lumine could tell that she was keeping her distance.

But it wasn't a deliberate distancing; rather, it had a hint of 'playing hard to get'.

She could be sure that if she actively approached Lumine, she would absolutely not resist, or would only symbolically resist.

This feeling was like the shyness and awkwardness of two people about to get married before the wedding, feigning modesty.

Strange... "By the way, Lumine, have you decided where you're staying tonight?" Amber suddenly asked.

"No..." Lumine shook her head, then looked at Lumine, "Have you found a place to stay?"

"Yes, Acting Grand Master Jean arranged it for us," Lumine nodded.

They were arranged by Jean to stay in the Knights of Favonius dormitory. Originally, since she had repelled the dragon's attack, Jean would definitely have them stay in a grand hotel.

However, the current situation was special.

Originally, Lumine had thought of asking for Lumine, but she didn't expect the Knights of Favonius dormitory to be very tight. It was already difficult enough to prepare one room for her. If one more person were added, they could only add an extra bed in her room for Lumine to stay.

This, just thinking about it made Lumine's cheeks flush. Reason told her that she absolutely couldn't do that.

It was fine to be close to Lumine outside, but not indoors.

Otherwise... Fortunately, Amber, being very understanding, said that she would arrange for Lumine.

"I originally wanted to find an inn, but I didn't realize I lost track of time at Cat's Tail Tavern," Lumine looked at Amber again, smiling a little apologetically.

She had spent the whole afternoon petting cats at Cat's Tail Tavern, and the matter of finding an inn had been pushed aside.

But it should still be enough time to find one now, right?

"This, I'm afraid it's difficult. Goth Grand Hotel has already been booked by the Fatui, and there's no place to rent for a while," Amber shook her head, troubled, then looked at Lumine with some anticipation and shyness: "How about..."

"Come to my place? I live alone, and my house is quite big. We can play together, and when we're tired, we can sleep!"
