Simple summary
King Sombra is the fourth villain of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, and acts as the antagonist of the Season 3 premiere.
A thousand years ago, Sombra enslaved the entire Crystal Empire, ruling through fear. He was banished by both Celestia and Luna, but after 1,000 years returned to take over, again. However, he was eventually destroyed by the Crystal Heart before managing to regain control.
All abilities in short:
Powers and Abilities: Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Magic, Energy Projection, Teleportation, Transformation, Intangibility, Fear Manipulation, Illusion Creation, Crystalline Manipulation, Darkness Manipulation, Time Manipulation (Under his rule, nothing in the Crystal Empire aged over the course of 1,000 years), Perception Manipulation (Manipulated Twilight and Spikes sight and senses in order to make them perceive their greatest fears), Weather Manipulation (His presence was causing a massive storm to consume the entire empire on all sides), Possibly Memory Manipulation (No one in the Crystal Empire was able to recall their lives before Sombra's rule for some time), Empathic Manipulation (His mind control works by forcing the target to experience their worst fears), Fire Manipulation (Can create dark flames), Curse Manipulation (Cursed the Crystal Empire to disappear), Size Manipulation while he is in his smoke form (Can freely increase his size to this much), Life Manipulation (Magic is repeatedly referred to as life force and essence, effectively meaning that when they cast spells, they do so using their own life force), Flightvia turning into smoke, Corruption (Type 2, Was able to corrupt the ground by leaving a piece of his horn), Regeneration (High-Low, Was able to regrow his horn), Telekinesis, Resistance to Mind Manipulation
(A/N): Mind manipulation is removed because it ruins the story.
More thorough explanation to some of the abilities.
1. Crystal Manipulation
Can make black crystals erupt from the ground or walls.
Uses them to block paths, trap enemies, or spread corruption
Shadow Transformation
Can turn himself into a shadowy fog-like form, allowing him to:
Slip through cracks
Move quickly
Resist physical attacks
Reform into a solid body at will
(A/N): Imagine a logia devil fruit intangible passive if you will the only difference is that he have to activate it manually.
Regeneration
Sombra alone was able to reform his horn and even survive by keeping his soul inside his horn when his body was destroyed
Now with the mythical fruit boost he can heal from anything given time but he isn't unlikable.
Telekinesis
Every unicorn in My Little Pony can use telekinesis so Sombra is of course capable of doing it as well and he is rather powerful and skilled at it
Fear Manipulation: Sombra can cast a spell on his foes that leaves them trapped in their own mind, experiencing their greatest fear.
Devil Fruit Type:
Mythical Zoan
Fish-Fish Fruit, Azure Dragon Model
Devil Fruit Abilities:
This fruit allows the user transform into a full sized Azure Dragon along with also granting the user the fire abilities much like that of a Dragon, the user is capable of flight while in this dragon mode.
This fruit is said to grant one immense defensive capabilities along with unrivaled physical strength and granting the user a multitude of supernatural powers such as a Flame Cloud which grants footing for the user and allowing the flying abilities of islands and such.
While in their Hybrid Mode they get a massive boost to speed and power along with a great boost to defense rendering them extremely durable and vastly difficult to take down in combat.
The Crystal heart (my modified version)
A powerful artifact that can collect magical energy from emotions to follow and complete commands.
As long as it has enough magical energy the Crystal heart power will almost certainly be absolute.
The Crystal heart can fail only if the crystal heart didn't have enough magical energy to complete the command.
Or it was being restrained or stopped by an artifact of greater power or a being of greater magical capacity.
Still the crystal heart is powerfull and not to be underestimated in this story
(A/N):This chapter will and could be fixed a lot once I find a mistake.I didn't have much time to double check or search as much as I would have wanted but this should give a short picture to those who doesn't know sombra from the mlp series or the devil fruit.
This is not an overpowered Mc story because with all the abilities I have given my MC so far he would still suffer to a degree after all Marvel and Dc universes are terrifying.
