A glowing interface appears before him, split in half:
one side made of pure white light, the other pitch black void.
Kaze feels two energies inside him fighting for dominance
but instead of tearing him apart, they merge into something new.

Kaze doesn't understand why he was chosen.
But the world does.
Monsters called Abyss Wraiths begin appearing near him.
Government hunters start tracking him.
A secret cult calls him "The Eclipse Deity."
And Kaze.
He just wants to live normally.
But his power refuses to stay quiet.
During a school attack by a massive Wraith, everyone flees
except Kaze, who steps forward as reality bends around him.
The monster swings.
The world slows.
Kaze appears behind it.
Shadow Step Activated.
His eyes glow one golden, one black.
"Don't touch what's mine."
He destroys the Wraith in a single motion,
unlocking his first transformation:
[Eclipse Form I: Half-Phase]

The chapter ends with hunters entering the ruined school, staring at Kaze in fear.
"Identify yourself.
Kaze smirks.
"I'd like to… but even I don't know what I am.
