Do you ever wish that you could regress? Have a re-do at life with all your memories and change everything?
What about a reincarnation or transmigration? How about a romance drama, slapping everybody left, right, and center?
Having a portal to another realm, or even tapping a button to have everything in the world!
With these novels that we all read day and/or night, rain or shine, no matter how bad or good a day is-- sometimes, we all wish to experience such stories.
The stories we subject ourselves to can be addicting. I surely do hope that this story will be just as addictive.
Ahem! Without further ado, welcome to my story!
A game studio known as Tranquility Studios had quickly risen to the top of the charts due to their stunningly beautiful sounds, immersive graphics, and realistic game design.
This decade had remained at the top for over a decade with constant updates to their various games that held millions of players.
In the back of the curtains though, the studio had been designing, developing, testing, and fixing a new product - a fully immersive game.
Many years later, the studio had started to market their product, calling it the best achievement in the modern age.
Just like that, millions of people anticipated its release. Although there were skepticisms about how it would work, critics arguing about safety, and conspiracy theorists rambling about some super AI that will take over the world; many people waited for Tranquility Studios' Ambient Pod release date.
Soon, they marketed the very first game that would be packaged with the pod and showed off gameplay and a free world you could explore.
Once the marketing hype was at its peak, the studio started to have giveaways through different avenues.
Of course, most people would sell their wins to rich people for money, some were determined to play the game and not sell out.
Once all of the prizes were claimed, the studios sent the pods to wherever the winners lived.
While all of this was happening, over the time that the Tranquility Studio was working on their pod, they started to buy buildings all across the world to rent or buy an Ambient Pod.
In order to make their money back, there were of course different tiers of the Ambient Pod.
The Premium came with, of course, the best comfort, versatility, and durability. These Pods also had the best use in terms of the nutrient-filler feature.
The Advanced tier had mostly the same features, though the shell was made out of a lesser material. While they still had the nutrient filler, it wasn't as performative as the better tier.
Lastly, the Basic tier, which almost everyone bought had basic padding and very little features. This tier didn't come with a nutrient filler as the studio needed to cut costs. (as usual.)
These pods came in vastly different prices. The premium model went for $14,999.99. With the Advanced coming in at $9,999.99. The basic came in at $4,999.99.
