CHAPTER 3: The journey across the dimensions
Narrator:
Saint Nick began to think that he should stop by the Tech, the mechanic, the science and the rescue divisions to congratulate them in person for their hard work that night.
Saint Nick:
"I should stop to thank every division in person tonight before my departure for my last deliveries."
Narrator:
Soon Saint Nick went to congratulate everyone personally, 20 minutes after he finished in doing so, he took off his suit and placed it on the dirty laundry basket. He took a shower and got dressed, he began taking a short nap on his private couch. A few hours later, one of his elves entered into his private office.
Morning Alarm Elf #32 (a short 95cm male elf who is 890 years old, is a peaceful mage with the power to destroy an entire continent in a single blast, however, prefers to avoid conflict, the type of man who would rather get married for the 15th time, than to go to war):
"Sire it's 7am sharp, we're 5 hours ahead of schedule, everything is ready for your departure, including your suit and your boots,"
Saint Nick:
"Thank you for waking me up, I will go and get changed, after that I will go to the sleigh. Are there any setbacks or anything across any dimension?"
Morning Alarm Elf #32:
"No, Sire, there aren't any setbacks according to our interdimensional
radars, everything's clear to go."
Saint Nick:
"Time for me to finish getting ready and get going,"
Narrator:
Saint Nick went to the sleigh, and after arriving at the sleigh, he opened up the portal to travel between dimensions. In a matter of seconds, he had arrived at the first dimension in which he needed to begin making his Christmas deliveries. Saint Nick had stopped on top of the first roof closest to the portal, he began to check his Christmas list, and began to look at the name of the first child to whom he was supposed to deliver his gift.
Saint Nick:
"It seems I arrived on top of the first location of my deliveries for this dimension."
Narrator:
Saint Nick began to use his magic to fly down into the first house of the mythological dimension. After he went down the chimney, he checked his surroundings for any sound, then he began to take out the bicycle for a human - octopus hybrid child. Saint Nick began to make his deliveries as fast as he could while keeping time frozen across every dimension with his magic, several hours later according to his special watch that continues to run even after freezing time for several moments, he had finished making his final Christmas gift delivery, a 3 year old monster child woke up to get a glass of water from the 800 meter tall refrigerator, and as the 180 meter tall monster child finished climbing down the stairs, he noticed that Santa Claus was there grabbing his bag, the child approached Santa Claus and asked him if he liked the cookies,
Saint Nick:
"Yes, I liked the cookies that left for me near the tree, thank you, however, aren't you supposed to be sleeping?"
Narrator:
The monster child (a kid with the body of a human and octopus' legs and arms) replied that he indeed was supposed to be asleep, but he woke up because he was thirsty. Saint Nick smiled and helped the child open the fridge, after that the kid grabbed a glass of water and drank it. Saint Nick said goodbye to the kid and left through the chimney. Soon he arrived back at this dimension after finishing with all his deliveries for Christmas, he was greeted by both his head elf and Father Time, with a surprised look on his face, he asked his head elf if there was anything going on.
Saint Nick:
"Magnus is something wrong?"
Antonio Magnus the head elf of the north pole:
"Sire, nothing is wrong here at the North Pole, however, you do have an unexpected visitor."
Saint Nick:
"Hello Magnificus, my old friend, how are you? for you to show up like this means you have urgent news."
Father Time:
"Yes, indeed I do have urgent news to give you, but also, I have a message from Mother Nature, you know as well as I do that Laura does give her opinion on something which she can very well sense ahead of time."
Narrator:
Mother Nature was quite the attractive woman especially for those who are attracted to curvy women, she had long blond hair, with a unique white crown made with white wood, a long orange-red dress most of the time. Mother Nature's birth name was Laura Cristal Primus Danza, she had quite the personality according to both Magnificus and Nicolas, as Saint Nick read her letter he sighed deeply,
Saint Nick:
"It seems our beloved friend Laura has just sensed that I am becoming weaker and losing magical power. According to her message if this situation keeps on going like this my life will be in danger."
Father Time:
"It seems I can't hide any longer the inevitable, I was already aware of all this since my previous visit when I came to warn you about your 2 children. Now that Laura is aware of this, I will have to tell you about what will happen after the New Santa Claus takes over, I am extremely sad to inform you that since that moment in which you made that wish, the one about retiring and becoming mortal, you've set in motion the beginning of your end. It is true that your replacement does have quite a magnificent and legendary future ahead of him far greater than I had imagined, however from the moment he is born until he becomes old enough to take your place as the new Santa Claus, his life will be in constant danger, especially since he will be the one to bring peace across every dimension and the multiverse. The child meant to be your replacement will not be born until a few more years from now, however you must continue to hold on until he is ready, otherwise everyone will perish."
Narrator:
Father time sighted deeply as he began revealing part of Saint Nick's future, he continued to inform his friend of the news that had brought him to visit Saint Nick, he was afraid that his best friend might not be able to withstand the events to come.
Saint Nick:
"Sorry to interrupt you so quickly, but why is it that more than half of the time you come to visit me you only give me bad news? As thought you were only a bearer of such dreadful news, and you Angel of Death, why did you show up precisely right now? at the worst moment possible,"
Angel of Death:
"I do apologize for my sudden intrusion to both of you, but when one of you appeared on my list of people I am supposed to pick up in the next 100 years, suddenly appeared on my list, I was shocked to see the name of one of you, for the time being I can't reveal which one I am talking about, but both can probably imagine who am I talking about, all I can say it has been an honor to have met both of you, and have served you both throughout the past millennials."
Father Time:
"Well, this is quite a surprise, but not something unexpected,"
Narrator:
After hearing Father Time saying that his visit was to be expected, the Angel of Death left immediately, completely surprised by Father Time's comment.
Father Time:
"Returning back to our original conversation today, not everything is bad news, while it is true that over the next few years you will continue to get weaker, your struggle will finally come to an end in a few more decades, more importantly speaking I have discovered that you have a descendant that lives on earth near the Caribbean Sea. There's a young girl right now who is the last remaining descendant of your second son who lived all those centuries ago when you were very young. The last set of news I have to give you is that you will have to make your Christmas deliveries ahead of time during one of the next 10 years during a time of war, however, despite the war your Christmas deliveries won't be delayed but on Christmas eve that particular year, you will be unable to stand due to a strong sickness which will keep you in bed out of commission for 2 weeks and as a precaution you will end up making your delivery ahead of time and leave an apology note for giving Christmas gifts a few days ahead of time."
Saint Nick:
"Well, at least some good news after all, however, that is a lot to take in for one day, much more than a normal living being might be able to handle,"
