All of Ben's friends and family are there to celebrate his 18th birthday. Kevin says,"Happy birthday, bro, I bou-"he said before being punched in the arm by Gwen. Instead, Kevin said,"Uhm, I mean, Gwen and I decided to buy this for you", he said, before handing Ben a box wrapped in wrapping paper
Ben grabbed the Box and said,"Thank you guys, you two didn't need to get me anything", he said before unwrapping it and saw that it was the newest game console that came with the latest sumo slammers game. Ben's eyes sparkled when he saw the box"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!!!"he said in a pleased and excited tone.
"I knew he would like it", Gwen said to Kevin, smiling at Ben's reaction"He better! That console cost me 600 dollars... You two better get me something worth this much when I turn 20!"Gwen smiled and hugged Kevin's arm, and whispered to Kevin,"I'll make sure you won't regret it~"he said with a seductive voice. Kevin looked unfazed and asked,"Will it be worth 600 dollars?"
Seeing his chance, Rook would walk up to Ben and hand him a plastic card. Ben looked confused and asked,"Huh? What's this?"Rook smiled and replied,"I managed to convince the owner of Mr Smoothy to give me the first-ever 'Free Smoothies for life' Card. I realised hitting 18 is important for you, Humans, so I tried getting the best thing I could"
Ben was filled with joy once again, saying,"Thank you! Thank you!"out of excitement, meaning he didn't have to pay for his smoothies anymore.
Before they could do anything else, they heard a knock at the door. Ben opened the door and looked to see who it was, and it turned out to be someone he hadn't seen for a long time. It was Edwin Grand Smith when Ben opened the door. Edwin smiled and said,"Long time no see, Ben"Ben smiled after he saw an old friend of his, replying,"What's up, Eddie! How's it been?"Edwin replied, "It's been Great! My grandfather let me take over his chain of hotels, and now I have more money than I would ever need. Anyway, my bad for being late. I just had to make sure your gift works"
Then Ben looked confused at what Edwin said, asking,"What do you mean, 'Make sure your gift works '??"Edwin smiled once again, with a little pride, and replied,"Come outside and see"
Ben walked out of the house, just to see a Chevrolet Camaro that was black with green stripes. Everyone who was at the party's jaw dropped seeing the car
"You bought me a car?!!"Ben asked with his eyes widened. Edwin replied,"Not just any car, let me show you the features it has"he said before he got into the car, before doing anything, he said,"look at this"before making 2 small turrets come from the room, and shot a laser beam, making a tree fall from the blast,"And not just that"he said before making the car go invisible, him also not being visible, he turned himself and the car back visible and then said"Oh yeah, the car can also go 300 miles per hour"he said, acting like 300 miles per hour wasnt alot.
The people at Ben's party's jaws were still dropped, and Ben's eyes sparkled. Edwin got out of the car and handed Ben the keys,"All yours, bro"Holding the keys, Ben excitedly said,"I am forever in your debt, Eddie!"
Everyone at the party looked amazed at Ben's new car, which Edwin gave him. Kevin, a little jealous, said:"What a show off!"but Gwen smiled at seeing what Ben got, being happy for him, replying to Kevin:"At least he's happy."
Fast forward to when the party finished, and it turned dark, and everyone had already left Ben's house, except Azmuth. He approached Ben and said, "A promise is a promise".Ben looked excited, remembering what Azmuth told him when he just got the watch. He asked,"Does this mean I'm finally getting master control?!"Azmuth smiled at how excited Ben got and nodded, then replied, "Not just that, but some other features, me and someone I guess you could call a 'former student' "
Ben looked confused at what Azmuth meant by "former student," but was still very excited to see what the new features he was gonna add were. Before Ben could say anything else, Azmuth said,"But there's a catch, I have to take the Omnitrix for 3 days so I can add the new features for you", he said before taking the Omnitrix off of Ben's wrist."That's alright, I guess, I can go a few days without it", Ben said with a tone that made it clear he didn't like waiting for surprises
After everyone left Ben's home, he decided to start up the new console he got and started playing. Hours would pass, and he was stuck at a boss fight "Can't this damn guy die already!"he yelled at the TV out of frustration
Right after, he heard the doorbell ring,"At this time?" he asked himself, confused. He walked towards the front door and looked to see who it was. It was a rook. He opened the door, looking confused,"What's up, Rook?"Rook smiled at Ben and said,"We have a mission to do"This made Ben excited, and he said,"Let's take my new car, I wanna take it for a test drive!"
They both got in the car, right when they got in, Ben looked amazed by its interior. There were different buttons with symbols on them representing what they would do. He clicked a button with a TV on it, and a small TV descended from the car's ceiling. "How cool is that!"Ben said, still looking amazed, Rook, wanting to focus on the mission, said,"Leave seeing what the buttons are for another time" Ben quickly got focused and said,"Oh yeah! Right! Where do we go?"Rook replied,"A bug guy is attacking the city near Mr Smoothy"Ben quickly started up the car and replied,"I'm not letting him destroy Mr Smoothy when I have the lifetime free smoothy card!"
And then Ben used Car's fast speed to get to Mr Smoothy, drifting his way through the road. They arrived in a few minutes, and Ben quickly got out of the car and slapped his wrist, but then he realised the Omnitrix was with Azmuth. He said, "Guess I'll use my martial arts this time." He and Rook ran to see who was causing the commotion.
"Sooo.. where is he?"And then Ben asked Rook, confused, not seeing the villain anywhere, "They said he was here, is it possible that he left in such a short time?"Rook asked the Plumbers on his earphone,"Does the tracker say he left the area?"but the person at the plumber headquarters replied,"Nope, it says he or she is still there"This made Ben and Rook look at each other, confused. "Miss me yet? Tennyson!"a voice behind Ben and Rook said. When they looked back, they saw it was Ben's old enemy, Clancy, levitating by using bugs to carry him,"What?! I thought you were done after I defeated the Negative 10!"Ben said with a mix of shock and unhappiness
"You thought Wrong!"Clancy said before turning into his Mutant form and dashing towards Ben, Ben barely managed to dodge, and Clancy stopped before he could hit a nearby building. He noticed Ben didn't have his Omnitrix on,"No more of that watch, huh? That's just better for me!"
"I could use a little help here, Rook!"Ben yelled at Rook, who was watching instead of helping Ben."Oh yeah, my bad!"he grabbed his proto-tool and attempted to shoot Clancy, the laser went straight through his chest, but then, he instantly regenerated the hole using his Bug abilities
Clancy evilly laughed at Rook,"Did you think that would actually do anything to me? You two are Funny"he dashed towards Rook with his wings and flew in the air, and then slamming him into the ground, and then stood up and said"After 8 years of training my Entomokinesis, you would think i would have become stronger, or are you that stupid Tennyson?"
Clancy then would use his Entomokinesis to make Rook and Ben unable to move due to his insects,"I can finally have my revenge on you, Tennyson! for not letting me stay in my home! for playing the hero, even though you were the biggest villain of them all!"Ben, unable to move even a tiny bit, said,"It was 8 years ago, just forget about it already"
Clancy became enraged after hearing what Ben said, angrily yelling,"Forget?! FORGET?! How could I forget?! I was kicked out of my Home! where my Bugs and I lived peacefully! You caused this, Tennyson! And I will never forgive you for this!"
He commanded the bugs to fly into the air while holding Ben and slam Ben to the ground, and then he looked at Rook and said,"As you for you, cat guy, or whatever your name is, you will regret ever working with Tennyson"and then Rook answered,"Don't think that I'm giving up this easily"This made Clancy smile and evilly reply"I was hoping you were gonna say that, now i can kill both of you"
But then Clancy got shot on his head, but again, it quickly regenerated. He looked to see who it was, and it was Ben holding the Proto-tool. He said, "You can't keep your focus on 2 people, can you?"Clancy replied,"You still can't do anything to me; you won't be able to beat my regeneration, you two already lost, admit it and give your lives up already"
"I will find a way, and when it happens, we will kick your ass and send you back to prison"Ben said with confidence, holding the Proto-tool in a ready battle stance
Ben thought of a plan and tried to dash towards Clancy, and tried landing a punch on him, but the punch did no damage to Clancy. Clancy spawned a swarm of insects to grab Ben"Haven't you learned yet, your attacks are too weak for someone superior like me"
Rook landed a kick on the back of Clancy's face while he was distracted with Ben, but again it did damage to him, because of his regeneration. Ben and Rook quickly backed off and started shooting him with their Proto-Tools, hoping that if they shot him quickly enough, he would stop regenerating,
But then, it failed badly for them. Clancy yelled,"This Fight is finished,"before using his insect breath to hold both of them on the ground, but then Ben thought of a plan and yelled to Rook,"Brook, try to hold him back for a second, I have an idea"
Rook nodded and shot away the bugs holding him by using his proto-gun, and kicked Clancy in the face, making him go flying away. This made the bugs stop holding Ben, but Clancy quickly healed and was focused on Rook
Ben quickly got in the car Edwin bought him, and made it go into the invisible mode,"Come on, Come on",he said while looking for a sound shockwave button. He thankfully found it and clicked it; this instantly killed all the bugs
Clancy got detransformed into his Human form and looked at all the dead bugs on the ground"How dare you! You killed my Bugs!"he yelled in a sad tone, but then Rook appeared behind him and put him in cuffs."Save your sobbing for another time", Ben made his car visible again, and Rook put Clancy in the back
Rook sat next to Ben in the car and said,"I am impressed, Ben. How did you know that was gonna happen?"Ben smiled confidently and replied,"Just something I learned from the new Sumo Slammers game, the guy with sound powers could easily beat the one with bug power"
The answer disappointed Rook,"I have lost my faith in Humanity..."
