Heaven's POV
The wedding was happening in the same place the mate bond was revealed five days ago, but today it was decorated differently. It had flowers all over the place with lit candles at the corner.
At the end of the aisle, my four mates stood quietly with no sign of happiness on their faces.
The moment I saw them, my heart began to beat faster.
Mrs. Higgins reluctantly let go of my arms. I looked at her worried.
"Go on, dear," she said.
Since my parents were dead and I didn't have any other relative, I had to walk down the aisle alone. It felt awkward.
Members of the pack looked at me weirdly.
Nobody wanted me to get married to the quadruplets and become Luna. Everybody wanted Sofia as their Luna. They all adored her and hated me. I was the daughter of the man who committed treason, and I was wolfless and mute. I mean, who would ever love me?
When I reached the front, I moved forward to stand between the four brothers.
They immediately shifted away from me, like I had a deadly disease. It was obvious that they didn't want me close to them.
Father Dominic stood in front of us. He was the same priest who had performed the ascension ritual. He looked sad, as if he knew that his wedding would end tragically.
"We gather here today to witness the union of these five wolves that the moon goddess had joined together," Father Dominic said.
"The mate bond is the greatest gift of the goddess. It is meant to bring joy and completion."
Suddenly, I heard Sofia laugh. She was seated in the first row in front of me. I turned around to look at her, and she had a white dress on, real wedding gown. She wanted to make fun of me.
I clenched the side of my dress to calm myself.
"Each brother will mark their mate by the claiming bites," Father Dominic said
My blood went cold instantly. I had totally forgotten about that part. The claiming bite was the most important part of this ceremony.
Once the bite happens my mind would automatically be linked to theirs. They would feel what I feel and I would feel what they feel. That means that they would be able to find me when I try to escape again. I would be forever trapped with them.
I looked at the quadruplets and I saw total disgust. They really hated me and I wonder how it gotten to this point. I wonder why they hated me this much when they had once told me that they loved me and would want to get married to me.
Since Damian was the eldest and the supreme leader, he was the first to move. He didn't hesitate, he grabbed my arm and pulled me closer to him, then tilted my head to my left forcefully.
"I'm going to make your miserable life a fucking hell. I'm going to make you regret not escaping yesterday," he whispered.
Then he sank his fangs into my neck.
The pain was burning like fire. Since I didn't have a wolf, the pain was even more intense. I bit my lips hard enough to keep myself from screaming. The bond that connected us snapped and then disappeared.
When Damian pulled away, I saw my blood on his lips. He looked at me and saw the fear in my eyes. He felt pity for a few seconds, then turned back to anger.
The Damon was next. He didn't bother to say anything. It just grabbed my chin roughly and pierced his fangs onto the left side of my neck.
The pain was excruciating. It was even worse because of how rough he was. He held it in longer than he should, as if it was punishment.
Then the bond snapped and disappeared.
It was Desmond turn. His bite was also painful, He bit me below Damian's mark, and it hurt just as much.
Dylan was the last to mark me. He moved closer to me and looked at me like he was trying too hard to hate me, unlike his brothers. His hate towards me felt forced.
Then he bit me and marked me. His bite was a lot less painful.
When the claiming bites were complete, I felt the bond snap completely.
"The bond is complete," Father Dominic said. "You may now kiss your mate,"
I suddenly stopped breathing.
"Hell no, we're not doing that," Damian said immediately.
Father Dominic sighed. "The kiss is not compulsory, but it is tradition that…"
"We don't care about your traditions," Damon interrupted.
"We won't kiss this thing," Desmond said.
The pack members began to murmur.
My face turned red with humiliation. They didn't even want to kiss me. They had to refuse the smallest gesture. It was more evidence that they really don't want me.
I looked at each of the brothers, then at Damon.
Suddenly, I remembered something from when we were kids. In the garden when he had given me my favorite daisy flower and told me how I was pretty. I was so happy that I ended up giving him a kiss, a quick innocent kiss on his lips.
It was my first kiss, and I'm sure it was his first too.
I looked into his eyes and I saw that he remembers too. Then he looked away.
"Okay then," Father Dominic said. "I will proceed with the coronation."
Guards brought forward four golden crowns that were used by other alphas since the creation of the pack.
Elder Mordecai placed them on each of the brother's head, one after the other. "By the authority of the council and the entire pack, I crown you alphas of the Full Moon Pack. May you lead with wisdom, strength, and honor."
"The coronation is concluded," Elder Mordecai announced.
"I present to you Alpha Damian, Alpha Damon, Alpha Desmond, Alpha Dylan Bloodstone, and Luna Heaven Bloodstone."
Pack members began to cheer, although it wasn't genuine, but it was polite.
They moved forward to congratulate the new Alphas, offering them gifts and blessings. They walked past me like I didn't even exist. None of them acknowledged me.
Then Beta Lucian came in front of the quadruplets. "I'm so proud of you all, and I'm glad you made the right decision," he said, patting Demian's shoulder.
The quadruplets nodded but didn't utter a single word.
Then Beta Lucian turned to me, "you did well."
He looked at me kindly. He was the only one that greeted me. I felt glad.
He turned back to the quadruplets. " We will have the coronation dinner after your wedding night," he said with a smile, then moved away.
I expected the wedding night to happen. But I'm so nervous about it, and I wonder how it's going to go.
"Put a fucking smile on your ugly face, Dylan whispered.
He wanted me to smile after they humiliated me in front of the whole pack like I was shit. But I, I still managed to smile anyways.I had no choice but to smile so I did.
Sofia came running towards the others. She put her arm around Damian and kissed his cheek.
"Congratulations, Alphas," she purred, loud enough for me to hear. "You deserve everything you've ever wanted."
He was supposed to push her away since he just got married to me, but he didn't. None of them did. They placed their hands on her waist, Damon even kissed her on her cheeks and brushed her hair away from her fucking face.
They didn't even acknowledge that I was there. They really hated me.
Mrs. Higgins came towards me and pressed a handkerchief on my bloody neck.
"Come, dear, you need to get cleaned up,"Mrs. Higgins said.
"And you need to prepare for your wedding night," Becca said following us behind.
I was married to men who hated me. Today would make the beginning of torture.
