The person without turning around said, "Just go upstairs. Your team will inform you about the job."
She nodded, gently closing the door as she walked out, and up the emergency stairs. Her breath was shaky as she placed her palm against the push handle of the door, as she threw in a deep sharp breath, she opened the door to have a knife barely miss her face.
"Damn, how'd I miss? I could've sworn I aimed it right this time," A masked coworker said while walking towards her.
She flinched as they walked past her, then quickly skidded away from them towards her locker. She opened it as the others laughed about something that she didn't quite catch. Reaching into it, she pulled out skin-tight plated suit with a zipper on both the front and back. She unzipped the back zipper, then dropped the suit and took off her plastic clothing, putting them into the locker. Then picked up the suit and put it on by zipping up the front zipper, leaving the back mostly open, only zipped up to her waist.
"Feeling bold again, aren't we? Nah I'm just teasing, I know it's for your spine," One of her other coworkers said while reaching into her uniform from behind.
She quickly shoved them away before they could do anything else with a hard kick to their sternum.
"Okay calm down scales! No need for violence," they laughed as they walked away. Leaving her to her own devices.
'Could I get a suit that covers my back and still allows me to use my spine?' She thought as she zipped a hood onto the neck piece of her suit, attaching a mask with a visor to the inside of the hood before walking outside and into a heavily armored truck. Hopping into the back between two of her six coworkers.
As they talked and laughed with each other she just sat there, silently listening as they talked, not wanting to get involved. Feeling every bump on the road as they drove. Still having no clue where she was going.

As the truck stopped one of her coworkers leaned towards her and said, "By the way, don't think we didn't see you with that rich girl. We just haven't pestered you about it yet because today's job is difficult."
Then they got out, she slowly followed behind warry of her surroundings.
The place was basically deserted, only a bunch of old rusty machinery and random little lizards all over. The place wasn't dusty though, instead it looked and felt like a mix of a bunch of different cool metals.
As they all stood still and looked around, they heard footsteps as a masked person with a silver slick, pointy raincoat-like hoodie walked up to them while turning the corner. They then called out, "Hey! I'm the hire you can relax."
A bunch of confused glanced went around. None of them had heard of an employer. The closest to the person raised their weapon and was about to attack him, then suddenly they got cut into a bunch of blocks.
The hooded person tutted as sharp whip and blade like ribbons retracted back into their hoodie. "Dang, I guess I can't trick a team as elite as yourselves. Welp, I guess I'll have to do this the hard way."
Nearly as soon as they said that another one of the coworkers rapidly pulled out a gun and started blasting, another slamming their hand into the ground, their hand bubbling up before suddenly blowing up into a strong boney shield.
Clipse quickly tactically rolled behind them, "Spine?" She asked while covering her ears as the gunned one of them threw a grenade towards the hooded person. Who just stood there seemingly unfazed by the gunfire.
"Not yet, I'll tell you when," the gunner replied.
Suddenly as if on cue, the hooded person flew over them, their hoods ribbons slicing through the shield and both coworkers, the gunned one barely managing to say, "Now!" As they got shredded to pieces.
Right before one of the ribbons gouged her eye out, she quickly rolled out of the way, shooting blood out of her eyes towards the hooded person as she chugged some sort of drink.
As she threw the container of the drink to the side, she focused up and felt a sharp pain in her back. The pain being quickly nullified by what she drank. Her vertebral column shredding through her backs skin and elongating into a long 4-foot tail-like structure. The 4 additional feet coming out of her back being spikier than a cactus, the end of it having 2 larger 7-inch spikes that could be used like a flail.
"Oh? This one might be fun!" The hooded person said as they sent their ribbons at Clipse, but the ribbons suddenly malfunctioned, as they had taken in too much blood. "Ugh! Shit!" The person threw their hoodie off, revealing an extremely baggy sweater beneath it. The sweater being able to do the same thing as the hoodie.
Clipse quickly moved in a weird zig-zag pattern, suddenly slamming her tails spike into the persons mask, then backing off around the corner to suddenly appear from a ridge above them again to swing down at them.
This time though as she did, a ribbon came out of the sweaters collar and sliced between her back and spine, opening her up widely, disconnecting nearly all of her nerves from the rest of her system.
The ribbon quickly went back into the sweater before fully carving out her spine, Clipse's blood raining down on the floor below her in a puddle that she landed in with a large splash. Her eyes all over the place, shaking, her mouth wide open a gagging sound coming out of her throat as she tried to scream in pain. Yet the pain was so incredibly treacherous that she couldn't get any sound out.
She fell to her side as she coughed and gagged, saliva dripping down her chin and cheek.
The few remaining coworkers stared in horror, trembling back into a corner. One of them falling as their legs failed them. Clipse was their only hope, yet there she was, sprawled over on the floor like another fly on the bottom of someone's shoe.
As they just kept on staring at Clipse, not being able to turn their attention anywhere else, a ribbon neatly cut their heads off, tying this batch off in a nice little bow. Calling an ambulance to their location before leaving.
