Chapter 210 - Kastro's Rapid Gain Of Strength

After realizing that he was completely no match for the person in front of him, and that he might even be able to learn a unique power from him, Kastro decisively admitted defeat and, full of eagerness, expressed his loyalty there.

Yes, in Kastro's view, if the person in front of him wasn't interested in him, he wouldn't have wasted so much time and effort talking to him, only to leave him battered and bruised.

This person... wants to take him as a subordinate, which means he must see some value in him.

Kastro was confident about this.

Since childhood, ever since he was exposed to martial arts, Kastro's learning efficiency had always been exceptionally high. It could be said that no matter the martial arts style, technique, or combat skill, once he learned it, he could easily master it.

From initial understanding to skillful practice, to comprehensive mastery... This entire training process allowed him to effortlessly perfect his craft.

Previously, Kastro had thought that his martial arts talent was unparalleled in this world. Now, it seemed the same, even further confirmed. Otherwise, why would such an overwhelmingly powerful person take notice of him and come specifically to find him?!!

Thinking of this, a trace of pride flashed in Kastro's eyes.

Luke, seeing this, fell silent for a moment, then raised his hand again and knocked Kastro to the ground.

This guy seems a bit overconfident again; such psychological resilience still needs proper training.

Moreover, Luke wanted to make him face reality. Just because he valued Kastro's talent, it didn't mean he could indulge him.

"You're just a subordinate I'm taking in, nothing more..."

Luke rotated his wrist, looking at Kastro on the ground, dazed again from the blow, and said calmly: "Get your position straight, and stop having any other unnecessary thoughts."

Kastro: "..."

"Understood, boss."

Kastro looked at Luke's rotating iron fist and once again realized this cruel reality, then he responded with a slapping sound. From that moment, Kastro became Luke's subordinate and follower.

However, when he followed Luke back to the Hunter Association headquarters and learned that Luke was the Vice-Chairman of the Hunter Association, Kastro's eyes lit up, and he once again regained immense ambition, proudly lifting his chest.

No way! This is the Vice-Chairman of the Hunter Association!!

In this world, this is a world-renowned figure!!

Many people wish to get close to him, but it's impossible; countless people would find it nearly impossible to meet him even once!!

Yet now, the big brother and boss he just acknowledged is this very person…

To put it realistically, just to wipe his shoes, people could line up from the top floor of this headquarters building all the way to three cities away.

As the saying goes: Even a seventh-rank official walks humbly before a prime minister's door.

Kastro felt he had definitely chosen the right person. Only a fool would refuse to be such a figure's subordinate!!

Realizing that his future could be bright, after Luke gave him a set of training insights regarding Nen, Kastro devoted himself with great enthusiasm and fiery spirit to training Nen.

From then on, he became a regular in the Vice-Chairman's office and a staff member here… Hmm, acting as security guarding the office doors.

This was a temporary job Luke found for him, mainly to give him a legitimate reason to stay here. But Kastro felt nothing was amiss and had no complaints.

In his view, with this relationship with Luke, once he mastered the knowledge regarding the Nen abilities that Luke gave him and became stronger, he could take the hunter exam, obtain a hunter license, and become an official professional hunter.

The many privileges that came with this would make the vast majority of people in the world envious.

Thus, whether it was staff coming to deal with Luke's business, or Beans, who frequently came to the Vice-Chairman's office for coordination, everyone noticed the extra security person in the room.

"Hahaha, looks like Luke has found another promising talent!"

Even Chairman Netero came over to take a look when he heard the commotion.

Of course, a new figure in the office of the association's second-in-command would naturally attract attention within the entire Hunter Association.

Chairman Netero, curious by nature, felt joy upon seeing Kastro.

"Just like this, discovering talented children, guiding them onto the right path, and making the entire Hunter Association even more prosperous..."

Chairman Netero shook his head and left, continuing his grand adventure.

Since the last time he drank the Adventure Tea from Luke, Chairman Netero had experienced a long-unfelt thrill, full of excitement and adventure. He proved through his own experience that the Adventure Tea provided adventures corresponding to the level of the person drinking it.

For an ordinary person, it would be thrilling yet risky experiences. But for someone like Chairman Netero, a powerhouse, the effect of the Adventure Tea was an experience so intense it stirred his emotions profoundly.

This was enough for Chairman Netero to enjoy.

First came the robot killer, and now this Adventure Tea... Chairman Netero was completely convinced that supporting Luke to become Vice-Chairman of the association was an exceptionally wise decision.

It should be known that the primary purpose of creating the Zodiac Twelve was to entertain himself.

Now, just Luke alone provided experiences far exceeding his decades of work in the association.

Chairman Netero had been silent too long, lonely too long, and bored too long...

From this point onward, when Kastro began formal training under Luke, he made rapid progress and achieved astonishing results.

The aptitude and talent granted by heaven manifested vividly in Kastro. Within just two and a half years of self-exploration, he could train to a level capable of contending with Hisoka.

Under Luke's guidance, following a formal and systematic training of the Nen techniques, rather than his own haphazard methods, the results manifested visibly on him. At least, Luke was very satisfied with the situation.

Previously, Luke had used the Power Booster to achieve significant strength gains. Now, with Kastro, no external devices were needed.

Pure training was enough to produce such results.

Honestly, when Luke first started observing, he felt a slight sense of awe.

But soon, such emotions vanished without a trace. In the end, both methods, using external force or relying on personal training, led to strength.

As long as one could gain overwhelming power without adverse side effects, there was no fundamental difference.
