Chapter 119 - Two Inventions

The legendary Ben's knives were crafted by Benny Delon, a murderous swordsmith over a hundred years ago.

He forged one blade for every person he killed, leading to a total of 288 blades.

Collectors loved them.

Even Silva kept some in his collection.

Gon once discovered a Ben's Knife in Yorknew's auction market, recognized its aura, bought it, and resold it for great profit.

"Excellent craftsmanship..."

Luke examined it carefully and nodded in approval.

"I plan to coat it with a deadly poison."

Chrollo said casually while speaking chilling words: "So that even a scratch can render the opponent unable to fight almost instantly. Even if that fails, just some influence on the enemy is enough."

"Even the slightest hindrance in battle can be the key that determines victory."

Chrollo was someone who preferred not to fight.

But once combat becomes unavoidable, victory and survival are all that matter.

So he would use any method necessary.

"I heard there's a poison where even 0.1 mg can paralyze a whale..."

Chrollo continued, "When I find it, I'll coat the edge with it."

"That kind of poison?"

Luke thought for a moment: "Well, I happen to have a different kind of poison here."

He pulled out a small jade vial.

"This is called the Blood Demon Madness Pill. As a poison, it has a rather special effect."

Invention: Blood Demon Madness Pill

Origin: Rainbow Cat & Blue Rabbit: Legend of the Seven Swords

Function: Increases inner power but causes inner power deviation and blood addiction. Victims gain explosive power and become violently berserk. Users also develop dependency and insanity.

Blood Demon Madness Pill is an extremely vicious poison.

Those who are poisoned develop a powerful addiction; only fresh blood can relieve the toxicity until the poisoned person becomes a blood-sucking demon.

This drug was created by the black-hearted tiger to improve his cultivation, personally traveling across famous mountains and great rivers to gather 999 medicinal herbs to refine it.

Taking it can greatly boost one's inner power and therefore enormously strengthen one's martial skills.

The side effect is that the user will suffer inner power deviation, develop a blood addiction, and sometimes fall into a state of madness.

The spiritual spring jade can temporarily suppress the toxicity, but only Qilin blood can completely cure it.

And once this drug appears in this world… If someone truly becomes addicted to blood, there is basically no cure.

It can absolutely be considered a terrifyingly cruel drug.

"Is there even something this good?"

Chrollo's eyes lit up after hearing this.

He had a strong ability to accept new things, and he never cared about what was despicable or shameless.

If a goal can be easily achieved, then why not?

When he took the bottle of Blood Demon Madness Pills from Luke's hand, he seemed reluctant to put it down.

Once Chrollo fully studies this pill and applies it to his Ben's Knife...

It will surely bring his future opponents a tremendous surprise.

Just like that, Chrollo and Bonolenov Ndongo both got what they wanted.

Shalnark and Pakunoda chatted with Franklin while waiting for the other Phantom Troupe members to arrive.

Today was the final day of the gathering, so almost all the members have arrived.

"I'm here."

Machi was the next to arrive.

She had already changed into the white training outfit she wore during her first appearance.

Her long pink hair was tied into a ponytail behind her head.

Her slender legs were wrapped with black belt straps.

Her overall look was simple and clean, exuding a valiant and heroic aura.

"You're here, Machi."

Shalnark greeted her as usual. "Did you come alone?"

"Mm, I'm currently working alone."

Machi nodded calmly.

Her gaze brushed briefly past Bonolenov Ndongo, but when she saw Luke, her expression softened a bit.

"How have you been lately?"

Luke smiled and asked: "You went to Heavens Arena, right?"

"That's right."

Machi walked over and stood beside Luke.

"It's indeed a good place where you can earn a lot of money."

She tucked a strand of hair behind her ear.

"It's just that many foolish and arrogant idiots cause trouble from time to time."

"But fortunately, nothing serious happened."

"Is that so? As long as you can handle it..."

Even if Machi didn't say so, Luke could easily imagine that a young girl who looks weak and defenseless would definitely attract all kinds of attention and ill intent in a place like Heavens Arena.

Even if the trouble wasn't major, it was still an unnecessary hassle.

"If you need anything from us, just say it."

Luke reminded her, and Machi simply nodded in response.

"... Actually, I have something that can help you get some extra manpower."

Luke thought for a moment, then took out a few strange items.

"With these around, they should help reduce a lot of your problems."

He presented several small robots and a pentagram-shaped badge.

Those tiny robots all wore blue uniforms, with no arms or legs, just a bald, round head topped with a cap, stern expressions on their faces.

"Something like the police?"

Machi glanced at the robots, then at the pentagram badge Luke held, printed with the English word: Police.

"These are a Mini Police Robot and a Sheriff Badge."

Luke flicked the badge toward Machi.

"With these robots, a lot of trouble will be cleaned up for you."

Invention: Mini Police Robot and Sheriff Badge

Origin: Doraemon World — Future Tech Company

Function: After wearing the Sheriff Badge, the Mini Police Robot will obey the Sheriff's orders.

No matter the command, they will follow and execute it perfectly.

These inventions came from that very satirical episode of Nobita's Underground Country.

After receiving the Sheriff Badge that Luke tossed to her, Machi quietly listened to his explanation of the invention's function.

She didn't reject the care Luke gave her; she even welcomed it… after Machi stored away the Mini Police Robot and Sheriff Badge, a loud, familiar voice came from the entrance.

"Ahahaha! We're here!"

Uvogin's booming laugh came first.

"I told you we would not be late! And we're not even the last ones to arrive!"

Nobunaga, unshaven as always, quietly curled his lip and didn't comment.
