"Then face it within." Eclipsera raised its hand, and the mirrors shattered.

Ria found herself standing in a realm of endless dusk—half day, half night. Stars burned on one horizon; the other blazed with sunfire. Ren appeared beside her, already bristling.

The guardian unleashed both elements at once—blinding radiance and devouring dark. Ria focused inward, remembering the temple, the bond, the calm center she had found with Ren. She inhaled, pulling the two forces together inside her chest.

It roared, lashing out. Ren leapt between them, gold aura blazing. "She's not alone!" His energy intertwined with hers, strengthening the beam until it pierced straight through the guardian's heart of crystal.
Eclipsera froze mid-cry. Cracks spread across its form, but instead of shattering, it dissolved into light and shadow that coiled gently around them like ribbons.

The dusk realm folded in on itself. When sight returned, they stood once more in the heart chamber. The crystal sphere now shone steadily, its halves fused into a single shimmering core. A doorway of radiance opened behind it, revealing the starlit expanse beyond.
