I thought I was gonna have a semi peaceful day but well, I'm between the two most popular girls in Ajisai High-school. To find out how I got here we have to look back a few minutes before.
"Hey Kazumi wanna have lunch with us."
"Sorry but no."
"Really! Aww, we wanna eat with you though."
"Sorry but I'm gonna eat with someone else."
The person who's speaking to my sister is Fumiko Kondo. Kondo is part of the student council, she is the bright and outgoing type of girl. It's been fifteen minutes of her asking Kazumi to eat with her.
For some reason Kazumi gets up and goes to me. Where's Yuki when I need her.Yuki was getting he lunch and told me to wait for her in the classroom.
"Akari will you eat with me?"
"Wait what did you say?"
"You heard me, will you eat with me?"
"You must got the wrong person."
"No, I got the right person."
Why did she want to speak with me? I thought we lived in different worlds ,her as the protagonist and me as the antagonist. Seem all roads lead to this. Should I accept or decline, might as well accept.
"Fine we can eat with eachother. But wait for Yuki to come so we can all eat with eachother."
"All right, also you guys are on a first name basis?"
And without being noticed Yuki sneaks up behind Kazumi. She shushed and goes and scares Kazumi from behind.
"Boo!"
"Aaah! What the?"
"Hahaha, I got you good didn't I~"
"Yes you did, now can we speak?"
"Of course we can. Got a special place we can talk or what."
"There is a place that I know of."
Kazumi brings out of the classroom and onto a flight of stairs. She opens a door and she brought us onto the school roof.
"The roof huh, never thought you be this type of person."
"Surprise, surprise, that's rich coming from the person who label as the "Hated Loner" huh."
"What was the actual reason you called me here."
"This doesn't involve just you now.This involves you and her."
"Me as well, why though?"
"Reasons and I want Akari to answer my question."
A question from Miss Popular, I wonder how this is gonna turn out.It might turn for the worst or the best, who knows?
"Whats the question?"
"Did you really hate us? I-I want you to answer me honestly, please."
That was not quite the reaction or question I was expecting. Oh well, I have to fulfill this role in this school.
"Yes I did."
"Akari what are you-"
"I hated you and mom. Ever since you never had the heart to help me and her just missing out on my life. I think I have my reasons to hate you."
"I-I see, I'm sorry I really am. Please forgive me."
"No I won't forgive you."
"I'm gonna l-leave then."
Kazumi left the rooftop and it's only me and Yuki left. Was I too harsh or was that too soft? I don't know but I fulfilled my role. And before I could speak to Yuki she slaps me across my face.
"What was that for! You could've been much nicer but you said those things!"
"There was a reason, I had to."
"You had to what? Be a massive jerk to your sister!"
I stood there silently. I couldn't be able to tell her why. Even if I tell her, she's gonna hate me more.
"I'm not speaking to you again, forever!"
"Fine then, do you what you want I don't need anyone! This was all for attention and me being envious of her! She gets all the love and I get nothing!"
Wait did I just say my true feelings out loud? Oh god, I just messed up. Wait, Yuki is just standing there.
"Fine then, do what you want, I don't care anymore."
After saying that Yuki leaves the roof as well. I stand there, knowing I screwed up again. Why do I do this to myself?
