Morning at the bus stop...
The skey over the bus stop was soft and pale, wrapped and grey clouds.
"Xia" sat at the bus stop bench, scrolling through reels on her phone. Soft love music played through her earphones, and she smiled quietly at the videos.
The first raindrop....
Suddenly, a small raindrop touched her hand. before she could react, the drizzle turned into a heavy rain. People around started running for shelter, but "Xia" froze for a movement, holding her phone tightly.
Out of nowhere, a black umbrella appeared above her.
She looked up slowly ....
A boy she had never seen before, holding the umbrella silently.
White shirt slightly wet, hair falling over his forehead, calm eyes.
He doesn't smile. he doesn't speak.
He just stood quietly, protecting her from the rain.
For a few seconds, they stayed silent. only the sound of falling rain filled the movement. "Xia" felt a small nervous pull in her chest. she doesn't know his name. she doesn't know why her heartbeat faster.
The bus arrived with a loud honk.
"Xia" stopped away from the umbrella and hurried toward it. She just got on the bus, her heart still fluttering from the brief encounter.
That she didn't know was that the same boy, "Tian" got on the same bus from the opposite side. they don't notice each other inside.
Xia sat near the back window, replaying the umbrella movement in her mind.
"Who was that boy ... why did it feel so different …..."
A small smile appeared on her lips.
Tian sat near the front, quietly staring outside.
"He doesn't know her name, but something about her stayed in his thoughts."
