It has been 2 weeks since coming out of the survival rift and Arthur heads the headquarters of the raiders guild. "How can I help you sir?" asks the receptionist and he responds with "I'd like to ask if there are any porter jobs available?". "Could I have your ID please?" she asks and he hands it to her. She types in his information and confirms his identification and asks him to wait as he sits in the massive lobby area. Couple minutes go by and Rider's team walks by.
One of Evo looks at him and asks "Isn't that the porter from the survival rift?" "Yeah" "Yeah it is" say some others. Rider turns around and says "The one that saved Mia?", the team leader looks at her and she nods. He decides to walk up to Arthur and he asks him "We're heading to a rift right now, want to come?". "Yeah sure" he replies and just leaves with them. "Arthur" the receptionist says as she looks at her screen but there is no reply. She says it again, but a bit louder and still no reply. She stands up and looks around and finds out he is nowhere to be seen. She sits back down and mumbles "Well he can go **** HIMSELF" she says in anger.
Using magical engineering, EVOLVED (aka EVO association) were able to use a new type of technology they call resonance. Resonance is able to give rift reading for the strongest mana core within a rift. They use elemental cores which have the highest synergy to all mana cores and they resonate with one and other. Even though it's accuracy is highly rated and revered, rifts are otherworldly places and SNAP. In an instant it can change to something more sinister then the reading given before.
There is a saying among EVO "Only you can save yourself".
They all arrive at the rift and wait there for a few minutes and Rider says "Evolved has ranked this as a rank D rift. We're moving out". He mumbles under his breath as he faces towards the rift "Be careful".
They go into the rift and get greeted by a abnormal world. An eerie place with a yellow moon covered by dark clouds which can't engulf it's shine. They spawn in front a large gate open to all guests. A path straight ahead which leads to a black castle that looks consumed by darkness and no souls in sight. The team is stopped as they went through the rift and kept looking around.
"Forward" says Rider as he leads the team towards the castle. This is a 10 man team with 8 EVO and 2 porters. The clear mission is to defeat the boss, but defeating the boss doesn't always end the mission.
As they keep walking forward, they keep all sight lines clear and have the porters hang back. "Expect the unknown" is often on the minds of EVO because the possibilities are endless in rifts. The porters follow them inside and as they get closer to the doors, they hear a battle ensuing inside. Arthur sits there calm and listens, while the other porter is shaking frantically. "It's fine to be scared, but don't let that fear consume you". Arthur looks at him with sharp gaze and he just nods back.
"Come in" is shouted by the EVO and so they both enter. The battle had ended and they start to collect the mana cores on the centre of their armour. "These are Rox Knights, a fox type of knight, so the boss must be the general..." says the porter to Arthur. But he ignores him.
Arthur walks ahead collecting cores and he keeps talking saying "They have their cores in the centre of their chest so that monsters would target it and if they do, they use it as bait to kill their enemies." as he keeps collecting he continues "That's why they have 2 cores".
"Ok I get it. Shut up and collect faster" says Arthur frustrated as he speeds up to catch up to the attack team. Arthur catches up and sees them in battle, he uses Odin's eye and sees that they are fighting rank E rox knights and just watches while taking cover. "Wow" "Look at the efficiency" says the porter over his shoulder. Arthur just looks annoyed as he continues to watch. "I'm Howard by the way" he says and just gets ignored again. The battle is nearly over and Arthur goes ahead to get away from Howard.
He starts to collect the mana cores and one of the rox knights wasn't killed properly and it grabs his hand as he ripping out its mana core. "Just die" with an annoyed face he says. "The last hurdle raiders" says Rider. He pushes the big door open as they are about to enter the boss room. It's the throne room. Empty and an eerie feeling rips across the room. The feeling of your ears ringing but there is no noise. The team start to move forward. As they get closer to the throne, they see an empty chair and a knight standing next to it.
A system notification appears for everyone inside the boss room.

It's name is highlighted Orange and only appears for Arthur.
"Get Ready" he shouts as they all prepare themselves for an attack. "Pathetic" says the General as he disappears right in front of their eyes and reappears at the back to the porters. They turn around and see him swing his blade and Rider yells "Por..."
