I, Youm and Rommel, Guildmaster Fuze and the Adventurer trio, all were welcomed into Tempest and brought in a meeting room.
While Shuna was serving us food, Rimuru took Milim to a corner to ask about me.
"Hey Milim. Why were you cautious of him?"
"Wahahaha! He can't do anything to me! But Rimuru... he seems to be stronger than you. And has a Hero Egg."
"Hero Egg?"
I have Hero Egg already? I guess I am strong enough already.
"You know, those with potential to become Heroes.
But don't worry Rimuru. It doesn't seem like he has any bad intentions. And if he does try anything... Wahahaha!"
Still, Rimuru was relieved that the potential hero doesn't seem to have any ill-intentions.
'Moreover, with the Japanese name, he must be a fellow Otherwolder!'
Rimuru and Milim came to the meeting room. Milim instantly got on her seat and started eating Shuna's delicious food.
And Rimuru started the meeting.
"Welcome to Tempest! So, Sasuke-kun. You want to join Tempest?"
"Hn."
"Can you tell me why? I am just curious! Wouldn't a human nation be better?"
"One of my skills involves controlling monsters. So I doubt I would fit in in a country where monsters are taboo."
"I see. Then Sasuke-kun, welcome to Tempest!"
I nodded and ate the potatoes. They are surprisingly similar to my previous world.
Food is another reason I decided to become a citizen of Tempest.
After that, discussion about Orc Lord started.
Apparently, Souei had informed Fuze that Orc Lord has been taken care of. So it will be best for Blumund to form friendly relationship with Tempest because Rimuru wants friendly co-existence of humans and monsters.
It seems like Rimuru is keeping secret that Orc Lord had actually evolved into Orc Disaster, and he beat the Demon Lord seed.
Fuze informed Rimuru that another monster defeating Orc Lord will not lessen the worries of the human nations.
Rimuru told him that the Dwargon King came for the same reason, to 'ascertain' Rimuru's nature, and ended up forming an alliance pact with Tempest.
And just then, Vesta came, Fuze got to know that both Vesta and Kaijin are now in Tempest, and he was too shocked to say anything. A recurring trait of his character.
Still, muling over the human dilemma, Rimuru considered something, and looked at me.
"Sasuke-kun. How about—"
"I think there is someone better suited for it."
I glanced at Youm.
"What are you talking about? And why is the slime talking? It just doesn't make any sense! Why doesn't anyone else question it!? It's a freaking slime!
With all those badass types lurking around in the background, why is this jiggly, puny thing calling the shots!?"
"That's very rude to Rimuru-sama!"
Shion shouted.
"I wasn't talking you, you fun bags!"
He got bonked on the head by Shion's giant sword.
Well, it seems like he doesn't really have a good personality.
After Youm was shut up with force, Rommel started explaining things.
Apparently, he is the champerone of the hastily put together group for scouting Orc Lord, with a compulsion spell.
Though he has switched sides from the count of Falmuth who pushed them to the task.
And Youm still wanted to complete the mission, because he cares about the common people who would suffer if he doesn't do the job.
And so, Rimuru offered him.
"So, Youm-kun. Do you want to become the champion?"

I didn't really pay attention to the rest of the meeting.
After it was done, I was escorted to a house that will be my home from now on.
There was also a huge spider, where Knight-Spider could live comfortably.
Well, the courtyard will need to be expanded a lot after I add Charybdis to my collection of Animal Path summons.
But most importantly, the house not only has a flushing toilet, but even a jet spray!
Yes!
"Do you like it?"
I turned to Rimuru who was rather smug with my fascination of jet spray.
"It's the best."
We went to the living room, sitting across each other.
"So Sasuke-kun, are you an Otherwolder?"
Judging by Rimuru's reactions till now, his world most likely didn't have Naruto.
"Yeah. You too?"
"Mhm. I was stabbed, and the next thing I knew, I had reincarnated as a slime."
"I didn't actually die back in my previous world. I just opened the door of my apartment, and found myself in this world."
"Actually, there are many Otherworlders in this world. I met one some time ago. And am planning to meet the others soon."
"Mhm."
And so, we talked about some random things about our previous worlds, though they should be different due to Tensura and Naruto existing in my previous world but not his, rest of the things were mostly the same.
Anyway, I have become a citizen of Tempest.
