Anna took her sweet time as she taught the cavemen and women how to shoot their guns. She was no Sci-Fi nerd, so she wasn't exactly excited about handling the guns, but she was more worried about the fact that the guns could mow her people down if placed in the hands of the inexperienced, or oblivious.
She didn't want her people to be shot dead by accident, and she did everything in her power to prevent that from happening.
However, one-hour into the ordeal, she noticed that the volunteers were getting restless. They kept being taught about safety procedures, with the points being repeated over and over, and this served to upset a lot of them, because even though Anna was practically yelling at them to be careful, they didn't know what they were being careful for.
