Time was the one thing that Jimmy did not have. He had a painfully limited amount of time to craft a great counter-attack against the enemy, and considering the intensity of the matter, he ideally wanted to do something productive with his time.
Spending a solid five minutes trying to figure out if the Compy clone could move its obnoxiously long tail, did not seem productive to him whatsoever. It wasn't, and yet time went away from him as if the Gods were speeding up the planet's rotation, or changing the proximity to its local star.
Things worked to, and against his favor all at the same time.
"I have to undo three damn changes, don't I?" He held his head, frustrated. "Or maybe two? The tail should shrink along with the Compy if I press button number one."
As he walked back to the panel, again, aiming to press the fourth button on the line, aiming to get ahead of the experimental phase by officially marking it as finished, he did see the clone finally lift its tail.
