Keifer's POV
I woke up feeling something warm creeping on my face ...I opened my eyes slowly ...my head ached so bad ...I woke up and found myself sleeping in the drawing room ...a quilt was covering me like someone has tugged it gently so that I don't catch a cold ...the warm sunlight from the window woke me up ... Last night's memorise rushed to me ...the engagement news ...then Jay 's words ...me drinking...and then Jay Jay 's soft confrontation...her forehead kiss..warm hugs ...she sweetly calling me baby.. a smile tugged at my lips... The dream felt too true...it felt like she really came ..she really said those magical words to me ....but I was dreaming again maybe...she is angry with me ...she is distancing herself from me ....she is going be someone 's fiance...the thoughts ached my heart...how I wish to go back to that dream...it would be so great if I could hug her tightly...but everything is broken Right? Jay is really not giving me a chance....
Jay's POV
After bickering with my so called Best friend...we both went down to grab breakfast...yuri was blushing like he has already married Jennie...he was clutching his chest and murmuring the word Jennie so many times that I even felt irritated.... before I could give him a solid reply keifer caught my eye..i saw him sitting on the sofa .. he was staring at nothing....I saw tears rolling down from his eyes...my heart cried...I was going towards him when yuri stopped me ...
Yuri : jay ...calm down...I know how are you feeling...but remember why we are doing this ...
Jay : but yuri ....I can't see my keifer suffer more...he is crying...I promised to myself that I would never hurt keifer...
Yuri : Jay Jay...you are not hurting him ...you are securing your future...you are protecting them... don't forget why you suffered all those years...now the time has come ...you can't let it go in vain
Yuri' s words brought me strength....I can't be weak now ...for my family...for my love I have to be strong...just 2 more day's... keifer you will be mine ... nobody will hurt you .... nobody will separate jayfer....

By making my mind strong...I went downstairs... section E.... Gathered in the drawing room...as I stepped there all eyes landed on me and yuri ...I could feel everyone's gaze on us ... they clearly were confused seeing both of us together...
Jennie: Yuri..jay .. Good morning...
Yuri gave a small smile... while keifer looked at my eyes ...god his eyes nearly melted me ...i tried to keep my composure... giving them a cold look I went to the dining table...
At dining table
Everyone sat quietly... eating their food ..or rather just nurturing it ...they didn't bother to create chaos...how I missed my Old days ....to break the tension..I said ...
Jay : everyone... please get ready after having breakfast...we are going to the mall to shop for my engagement dress .. ofcourse you guys do need new dresses... don't worry I will pay for it .,,
The air shifted in the room...the silence felt too cold .... keifer looked at me with teary eyes....he wanted to speak something but no words came out instead of a bare whisper...
Jennie: jay Jay...are you really getting engaged??
Ci-n: Jay... don't you love keifer....
David: jay Jay..don't take decisions hurriedly...I know you are upset but take your time ...I hope you won't regret your choice later...
Jay: ( clod and firm ) I am happy with my decision...I am not changing it ... ofcourse I am not taking it in a upset mind ...I Love my would be fiance and I don't want to let him go again...
I spoke every word looking at keifer...I wanted him to feel the pressure of the words though he thought that it was not meant for him ,...he looked down after hearing those words ...I saw him trembling...but I was unable to do anything...
Just then a voice cut through the air ...it was none other than Percy my ugly faced brother...
Percy: Hello baby sistahhhhhhh...did you miss my handsome face ?
Jay : no Percy I didn't miss your ugly face ..
He was so lost in his so called handsome face that he didn't notice section E and keifer...as soon as his eyes landed on them. His expression changed,.,it was replaced by anger....sad ...worry..
He came and grabbed keifer's collar...
Percy: why the fuck you are here Watson,,. after breaking my sister..after hurting her .. tormenting her ..you are here to watch fun ????
Keifer didn't argue...he stayed quiet..the quiet which makes your blood ran cold ,,,..
Jennie: Percy.. leave him ...he is choking...
Percy: please Jennie... don't start...I might say some hurtful words to you .... please saty quiet... don't come in between...I have never expected this behaviour from you also ....
Jennie lowered her head... section E stiffened in their places....
Jay : Percy cool down...
Percy: Jay...why are they here ???? After they hurt you ..you are letting them stay here ...you are forgiving them ....have you lost your mind??
Jay : Percy!!!! Please...calm down...you don't need to charge at them ....it is my decision that they are staying...they will stay here till my engagement.....
Percy: ( frowned) what!!!! Don't tell me that your engagement with Arthur is true,....
Jay : ( calmly) yes it is ...
Percy stood their dumbfounded...he looked like he has heard the most unbelievable things in the world...
Percy: you are getting engaged before the whole world could recognise my handsome face !!!!😱😱
