Jay's POV
Two days passed quickly.... section E was quite.... keifer didn't talk with me ...it was like Chaos left us ....an awkward silence crept on us ... Jennie didn't mutter a single word with me ...it was like she blamed me for everything....for every silence...for hiding from her..her silence hurt me ..but I stayed quite... because I didn't have a choice...
I came back from school...it was 28 th May.... tomorrow 29 th May ...I am going to take charge of J6 gang ... tomorrow I will tell everyone about my identity...all section E... keifer and ofcourse I will tell Jennie that J6 is a mafia gang ...not some allies who fight between themselves...
The morning at 29 th May
I woke up hearing my alarm ..the day felt amazing...it was like finally I was going to unveil everything...I will come clean in front of my family...no hiding back ...
I opened my phone..hoping for some birthday wishes... ofcourse I was excited to see keifer's wish ..but I found nothing....I looked at keifer's chat for several minutes.....well I was really expecting something heart warming..or atleast a single... Happy Birthday??
I felt something rising in my throat... something hurtful which can't be expressed in words...I still forced myself to smile...it has been my daily routine to put a smile on my face through the 18 years ...the smile which covered my pain,my sadness,my late-night cries..
I woke up and went to washroom ....after doing the morning routine I wore a normal wear...I took the gifts I bought for Jennie my twin sister....my best birthday gift given by mom when I was born ....I smiled...how will Jennie react after getting those gifts? May be she will not be able to stay angry anymore....
With a lot of hope and excitement I went downstairs....I saw Jennie and section E already there ... Wait did they prepare some surprise? But why didn't they call me while they called Jennie....
I went to Jennie and said....
Jay : happy 18 th birthday my twin sister ..my lovely best friend....
I went to hug her but ..... making me shocked she avoided it ...I looked at her in confusion...what happened? Jennie didn't wish me back also ....
On every birthday we used to wish each other together at 12 ....why did it change this year ?
I still smiled and said softly....
Jay: Jennie..I brought you a gift ...look at it ...hope you would like it ....
I straighten my hand to give her the gift but she ignored me and went to section E....
I looked at her sadly ....why isn't she talking with me ? I still went to her and said..
Jay : Jennie.. what 's the matter? You ...why aren't you talking with me? You are talking with everyone...but me ....well see the gift sister....I specially prepared it ...
Jennie: ( coldest voice ) I only talk to the people who doesn't hide themselves from me ...
I flinched at her word ...I opened my mouth to speak something but nothing came out ...
How do I tell her that I had no choice...and after today ...will she ever believe in me ?
I turned to keifer....he was looking at Jennie and section E....they were smiling....but when his eyes met mine..his smile dropped... instead it was replaced by some cold anger ... deadly glare ...he looked away from me ...i could feel my tears rolling down my cheeks...
Yuri came towards me and said....
Yuri : Jay Jay... happy birthday....well..
He couldn't say anything...he kept quiet.... because he didn't have any words to confront me ....yuri knows what is feels like when you are trying to protect someone but that person is hurting you in all possible ways they can ....
Jennie has been ignoring yuri too ...I smiled at him ....but that smile couldn't hide the pain , emotions I was carrying...
In the midst of this Angelo and Aries came....they went straight to Jennie and hugged her ....they gave their gifts to her ...she accepted it ....
I was expecting a simple wish from them ...but they did the same ...they gave me a cold glare and went to sit with section E....
I put my head down ....i felt like I was invisible among all of them ... suddenly a cold voice came ...
Keifer: ( coldly) yuri...you told us that miss Jasper Jean mariano is going to reveal something about herself...well we don't have the whole day for her ...tell her to start...
The tears that I was holding started flowing continuously.....my hurt ached in a way that it never did ... Miss Jasper Jean mariano...the way he said made me feel like I was so distant to him ...and he wasn't even speaking to me directly..
My head shattered in pieces... before I could speak anything suddenly the most unexpected person came here ....
Kaizer
What was he doing here ? How did he know about my address?
All of them stood up .. shocked as me ....kaizer spoke up ..voice mocking...
Kaizer: wow seems like I have came at right time? How are you my son?
Keifer: what the fuck are you doing here ?
Angelo: kaizer? How did you know we are here ...
Kaizer : let's ignore those questions...I can get to know anything I want ...btw you aren't telling me to take a seat...I think I should take it myself...
Jennie: what do you want ! ?
Kaizer: hey ...it's your birthday Today...you came on my son's birthday.. shouldn't I come on your birthday too ?
Yuri : nobody asked you to come here...
Kaizer : I took the invitation myself.. because....my son's girlfriend... Jay Jay is going to reveal her identity or should I say her plan ??
While hearing the plan my blood ran cold ....how did he know that ? Section E looked at me with questioning look ...
Before I could speak.. keifer asked kaizer....
Keifer: what plan ?? What are you taking about?
I could feel the rising tension between them ....the situation was turning into a wrong side...I felt,,it would be harder to explain to them if I don't stop kaizer but ....the fate thought of playing with me ....
Kaizer spoke ...
Kaizer: so ...you didn't tell them about the plan ? Well as far I know.. Jennie your twin is also unaware of your plan .. Right?
I could feel Jennie 's glare at me ....I felt like my voice was suddenly taken by some unnatural force ...
Aries: can anyone explain me what is the paln??
I stayed quite...kaizer took the chance to speak up ...
Kaizer:( voice louder cold mocking) my dear son ....this girl approached you because she wanted to get revenge from me ...it was all her plan from starting to get friends with you ...so that she could easily get to know about me ....
The room felt silent...I felt all the eyes on me ...tears were dropping constantly....
Keifer asked me voice shaking....
Keifer: Jay Jay...is this true ??
I tried to speak but kiazer spoke up ...
Kaizer: son ...you don't know the real thing till now ...
Angelo: what's that ?
Jennie: is there anything left to know?
Kaizer: Miss Jasper Jean mariano...or your Jay Jay.....is the leader of the most powerful mafia gang J6 ...
I looked at kaizer eyes wide...his did he get to know that? I only told drew about it .... don't tell me that ...drew told him ????
Keifer sat down ... everyone looked at me with shocking face ...I could feel their hatred towards me ....
I went to keifer but he stopped me in midway...
Keifer: miss Jasper.. don't.. don't come near me .....you .you betrayed me ? So ....the plan ....the plan is true ? Your love.your blush ... your all sweet messages containing "I love you" were all fake from the start? You actually never loved me ??
Jennie came to me and asked...
Jennie: . Jay Jay...tell me the truth...is what kaizer told all true? You are mafia leader and ....all those you did was just a plan...
Jay : Jennie... keifer listen to me ...I .
Jennie cut me off ...
Jennie: ( shouting) just answer me ...what I asked...I don't want to hear another word from you ...
Jay : yes ..that was at first...but I really fell in love with keifer..and I ..
I couldn't speak further... because Jennie slapped me hard....
Jennie: I never have imagined this from you ...
Jay : Jennie no -
Again a slap ...it was from Angelo....
Angelo: you are a disgrace to our family.....
Keifer: you are no different from other girls...jay ...you are like my father...you just like to play with emotions....
Keifer's words hit me hard..I couldn't stand....my knees gave out ....I saw all of them leaving me ... giving me a deathly...hatred glare ... no-one came to confront me ....
After everyone left kaizer came and said in a mocking tone ...
Kaizer: game has started miss mariano.... let's see what you can do now !!
