Chapter 1 - WORLD LORE — ELYNDOR REALM

1. The Origin of Beast Taming

Long ago, before human civilizations rose, Elyndor was ruled by Primordial Beasts — immense, almost divine creatures that shaped the land:

Mountains rose from their claws

Rivers flowed from their breath

Storms raged at their whim

Humans and elves were weak and preyed upon by these creatures.

The first tamers arose by forming contracts with weaker beasts, learning to control and coexist with them.

Key Inventions:

Soul Contracts: Link between tamer and beast; trust strengthens power

Evolution Sight (lost skill): Rare bloodline ability that could see hidden evolution paths

Beast Cores: Crystallized energy of beasts used for power, evolution, and artifacts

2. Races of Elyndor

Humans

-Most common race

-Known for versatility and innovation

-Strong political families that dominate beast taming hierarchy

Elves

-Long-lived, attuned to nature and magic

-Can communicate with beasts more easily

-Typically live in Sylvanheart Enclave

-Skills: elemental magic, stealth, forest survival

Beast-Kin

-Rare hybrid humans with traits of animals (fox, wolf, or dragon)

-Often ostracized in human societies

-Have natural affinity for beast raising

Dwarves

-Mountain dwellers in Drakenhorn Wilds

-Strong smiths, crafting evolution materials and weapons

Shadowborn / Forbidden Folk

3. Ancient Wars

The Beast Wars (500 years ago): Humans and elves fought alongside tameable beasts to claim territory

Legendary tamers emerged; Volt ancestors rose to prominence

Many beasts were lost or sealed after the war, giving rise to modern scarcity

Some war-era relics still exist, granting hidden power to tamers

4. Volt Bloodline History

The Volt family mastered lightning beasts and ocular evolution arts

Lost Evolution Sight for 200 years after a rebellion by a rogue Volt ancestor

Maintains political control in Arclight Dominion

Keeps rare evolution artifacts and secret knowledge

Some branches value strength, others caution — internal conflict

5. Beast Types and Ecosystems

Primordial Beasts: Extinct or mythic, mostly in forbidden regions

Elemental Beasts: Fire, Ice, Storm, Earth, Water

Spirit Beasts: Forest, desert, or water spirits

Cursed / Shadow Beasts: Found in Umbravale, often hidden

Rare Variants: Trish Beast lineage; small or weak beasts that can become powerful

6. Evolution Mechanics

Early tamers thought evolution was random

Ancient texts revealed materials + bond + environmental triggers

Evolution Sight allowed Volt heirs to see every branch, including hidden and forbidden paths

Some evolutions require soul resonance, or emotional breakthroughs

7. Political and Cultural Structure

Arclight Dominion

-Human-led, high-taming aristocracy

-Volt family dominates council

-Beast tournaments determine influence

-Schools like Arclight Academy train future tamers

Sylvanheart Enclave

-Home to rogue tamers, shadow beasts, cursed knowledge

-Ancient ruins from pre-human civilizations
