Day 31. I finally dismantled my cryocapsule, leaving only an empty shell in which I sleep for half of the day, which I call night. Cutting off everything unnecessary from the fluid circulation system, like a homegrown Michelangelo of engineering, I assembled a small distillation cube. Now the liquid from the large plastic tank in which we were immersed was purified bypassing the life support system, distilled, and remineralized to restore some of the necessary salts. The whole process is slow, because the system was designed for a person immersed in stasis, but I sped it up a little by increasing the compressor speed.
Let's wait and see. If everything works out, I will have a guaranteed way to purify the liquid, plus an additional 200 liters of water from the circulation systems of my capsule and Barbara's capsule.
