Henderson's POV
After Percy left for warrior training, I hurried through my shower and dressed quickly. The omegas would need help preparing breakfast with so many visiting Alphas in the packhouse. Their nervousness was obvious, and I suspected they had never dealt with this many powerful wolves before. I wanted to ease their burden and make sure everything ran smoothly.
We had just finished setting out the food when voices echoed from the entrance as everyone returned from training.
"Dad, why are you limping?" I called out, noticing his uneven gait while the others chatted animatedly around him.
"Turns out I'm not as young as I thought," he replied with a grimace as my mother rushed to his side, her hands immediately checking his hip.
"Oliver?" she questioned, her fingers probing for injury.
"I'm fine, love. This old wolf apparently needs to learn some new moves," he said, trying to brush off her concern.
