The approaching days stretched ahead like a storm I had to weather. Being pleasant to Alpha Joseph and Alpha Ezekiel would test every ounce of control I possessed. The familiar darkness had begun creeping back into my thoughts, settling like lead in my chest. For Henderson's sake, I needed to play the gracious host, but my inner demons were stirring restlessly.
Then I watched Henderson step out of the shower, water droplets catching the light on her skin, and everything became clear. I needed her radiance, that brilliant warmth that could banish every shadow threatening to consume me.
Making her watch herself while I pleasured her had been intoxicating. The way she came undone, seeing her own beauty reflected back at her, drove me wild with desire. When she told me how attractive I looked in those moments, something shifted inside my chest. To me, being with her felt like pure light flooding my system, warm and consuming, obliterating every dark corner of my soul.
