I sigh with deep contentment as I lie on the back patio, surrounded by our four daughters. The afternoon sun filters through the trees, casting warm shadows across the stone terrace where our family has gathered. Just as Henderson had hoped during her pregnancy, there was one set of twins that resembled me and another that looked like her. We had chosen names accordingly - Evelin and Allison for the daughters who inherited my dark features, and Dora and Rogers for those who mirrored their beautiful mother's appearance.
What we hadn't anticipated was how misleading those looks could be. The daughters who carry my physical traits possess Henderson's sweet and gentle nature. Meanwhile, the ones who look like Henderson have inherited my rebellious, mischievous personality in full force.
