Henderson's POV
The morning sun filtered through the curtains when I finally stirred awake, much later than usual.
What surprised me more was finding Percy still beside me in bed. His strong arms were wrapped around me protectively, and the moment I moved, his warm lips found the crown of my head.
"Sleep well, Little Pup?" His deep voice rumbled against my hair.
I shifted slightly, wincing as my body reminded me of everything that had happened the night before. The soreness brought back vivid memories of the battle, the fear, the chaos.
"Isabella..." I started, attempting to push myself up from the bed.
"She's conscious," Percy said, his hand gently pressing me back against his chest. "Deryl informed me that Aaron stayed with her while your parents grabbed some food. Before they could finish eating, Alpha Damon came to tell your mother that Isabella had awakened."
