Percy's POV
The moment Aaron and I arrived at the packhouse, her scent hit me like a physical blow. Sweet citrus mixed with mint flooded my senses, making my wolf Usher pace restlessly beneath my skin.
"Percy, where the hell are you going?" Aaron called out as I bolted from the passenger seat without explanation.
I didn't answer. Couldn't answer. Every instinct demanded I find her immediately. Usher clawed at my control, desperate to reach what we both knew was waiting inside.
The packhouse buzzed with celebration, bodies packed tight in the main hall. Music pounded through the speakers while laughter echoed off the walls. But I couldn't focus on any of it. Her scent consumed everything else, drawing me forward like a magnetic pull I'd felt for years but never understood.
