Chapter 1 - The Start Of Elvin Martyr

The young elf lay there underneath the pile of corpses, witnessing with his very own eyes the moment his mother was slashed across the chest by a knight.

She fell to her knees, hands trembling as she reached to cover her wound, ultimately falling limp and drawing her last breath.

The sounds of roaring fire and the flesh on top muffled his cries.

"Glory to the lord!" the men covered in silver armor shouted, celebrating their victory against the village.

Elvin Martyr stayed and slept under the blood of his friends, his parents, his brothers and sisters for a whole day, before finally crawling out.

The moon watched as a sole silhouette dragged itself deeper into the woods.

That was two years ago.

After two years of trying his hardest to find solace in the lack of any other intelligent being, after two years of not hearing the sweet sound of his own name, Elvin sat under the night sky, staring up at the stars.

His sharp, sensitive ears shook under the wind, and the man dyed his dirty white hair red with fresh blood from the rabbit he had just killed when he wiped away his sweat.

A tear rolled down Elvin's cheek, and he drank it as it got to his lips.

"Mother… I will be 15 soon." Elvin muttered, "I will avenge you."

Elvin looked down at his meal, and he squinted.

"What's that, rabbit? You don't know why I waited?"

Instead of placing it over the campfire for dinner, he started talking to it like a close friend as the last bit of blood drained out.

Every woman, child, and man in this world will receive a gift from the Goddess of Symphony—the creator of everything… They call it Dao.

It is a blessing, a miracle, extraordinary abilities and powers that each individual can control to shape the world around them.

They believe it's the path that a person is destined to go down as soon as they reach 15 years old. Although some decided to go their own way, never putting their gift to use.

"When midnight comes, it's my time."

Elvin put the rabbit down on the fire, between two sticks he carved and jammed down.

"But who am I kidding, right?" He chuckled, "Some Daos are so niche that it'll take a lifetime to discover them. Mother once told me about a person who can command frogs, only and specifically when it's a thunderstorm."

With that said, Elvin waited for midnight to strike… This was one of those rare nights when he didn't sleep.

This was one of those rare nights where peace and quiet are actually going to stay.

- Dark Vision: At will, elves can switch between seeing the world normally or seeing it in dim light, allowing them to notice things in darkness.

High Elf attribute: Increase the ability to see from dim light to full brightness.

- Call Of The Woods: Elves are naturally in tune with wooded areas. In said areas, other elven abilities are increased by one rank (if said abilities have increasable ranks)

Currently increasing: Eyes Of The Wise, Martyr.

- Beast Tamer Of Prophecy:

This tamer is granted the [Status Board] crafted by The Entity.

This tamer is granted the following skills: [Tame], [Home Of The Beasts], [Strategic Beast Master], [Commander Beast], [Failsafe Taming], [All For One].

The stars have aligned, and the prophecy shall claim its destined destroyer.

- All For One: This tamer is given one passive/skill that their beasts own at the identical rank.

The passive/skill only remains if that beast is still serving under the tamer and not deceased or disowned.

Said passive/skill can not be changed once received from a beast, so disowning one beast and retaming another of a similar type wouldn't give a different result.

- Eyes Of The Wise (D): Elves can see further away with clear vision.

High Elf attribute: Increase the rank of this skill by 2 (F > D)

This elf can currently see 5km ahead.

This ability will be C rank in wooded areas.

- Martyr: ???

- Crusade Survivor (F): Survivor of a crusade brought upon their land, granting them increased damage against crusaders.

This survivor currently has an insignificant amount of damage increase.

- Tame (F): The mandatory skill of any beast tamer, allowing them to attempt taming a beast, convincing that beast to serve the tamer as its master with varying chances of success.

This tamer currently has an insignificant chance to tame a beast.

Chances fluctuate based on the respect/fear the said beast has with the tamer.

Failing to achieve a massive decrease further reduces the chances of re-taming

Can not tame unconscious, mentally controlled, or deceased beasts.

Cannot be tamed again by the tamer if its chances reach zero.

- Home Of The Beasts (F): The mandatory skill of any beast tamer, allowing them to store beasts in a separate realm and summon them at will.

This tamer can currently store 3 in the space.

- Strategic Beast Master (E): A skill only available to the prophesied tamer, allowing the tamer to tap into a top-down view of a two-dimensional (2D) map that shows the 360-degree area around the tamer.

During Strategic Beast Master, the tamer can give each summoned beast a message/command that will be carried out immediately when the skill ends.

The map coverage area correlates with the tamer's vision.

The skill currently has a duration of 30 seconds and a 24-hour cooldown.

- Commander Beast (E): A rare skill available to a handful of tamers, allowing them to grant one beast serving under them the attribute of [Commander]

The Commander Beast heals to full, receives buffs, and can give orders to any other beasts lower than a [Commander].

Current Commander Beast buff: Can also give orders to any creatures of the same type if they're one or more ranks lower.

- Failsafe Taming (C): A rare skill available to a handful of tamers, allowing them to make more attempts to [Tame] a beast before it is considered Failing.

This tamer can currently try a total of 5 times.

This skill has a cooldown of one day; the tamer must cast this skill on a creature before casting [Tame].
