"It's so good," I said around another bite.
"It gets better every time," Phoenix agreed happily as he grabbed another one from the plate.
We had taken seats at the front of the stall. There were a few little plastic chairs and a small folding table set up beside it, probably for customers who wanted to sit and eat instead of wandering around the festival with food in their hands.
The chairs were small and slightly wobbly, but none of us cared.
We were too busy eating.
Phoenix leaned back in his chair with a satisfied sigh, holding his plate like it was something precious.
"This might actually be the best thing I've eaten all year," he said dramatically.
"You say that about everything you like," Jamie said dryly.
"No, I don't."
"You literally said it about the fried dumplings ten minutes ago." I said
"That was before I discovered this," Phoenix replied without shame.
Soren snorted and grabbed another piece.
Jamie shook his head but continued eating too.
