Shiro wakes up as he pants for air and finds himself lying on Yoriha's couch within her office. Yoriha was sitting on her office chair, managing some files, when she noticed Shiro had woken up.
YORIHA : "Oh, you're awake!"
Shiro looked around him, noticing no one else present, only him and Yoriha.
SHIRO : "Y- Yeah, sorry.. I passed out."
- He says as he covers his face.
YORIHA : "That's okay. Do you typically pass out a lot?"
- She stood up from her office desk and sat beside Shiro on her office sofa.
SHIRO : "I think… it started when I became this.. Human-Beast."
YORIHA : "I see. Do you think it's due to the loss of blood?"
- Yoriha said as she took off her glasses.
SHIRO : "Maybe.. I think my beast abilities have something to do with my blood."
YORIHA : "Interesting.."
- Shiro looks at her, gazing upon her purple galaxy eyes.
YORIHA : "How are you able to use your abilities?"
SHIRO : "I- I practically have to injure myself severely before it activates."
YORIHA : "That's quite brutal.."
He continues to gaze upon her purple galaxy eyes; she's looking down at Shiro's hands, trying to inspect them.
"There's something about her eyes.."
Yoriha takes notice of this and looks back at Shiro.
YORIHA : "Hm..? Is there something on my face?"
- Shiro looks away, with a slight blush on his face.
SHIRO : "It's nothing, sorry.
- Yoriha had a short gaze at Shiro's face.
YORIHA : "Anyways~ I set you up to work with Division 6."
SHIRO : "Division 6..?"
YORIHA : "Mhm, the same team that had caught you!"
YORIHA : "Although, you'll be a student hunter!"
SHIRO : "A student-hunter..?"
- Shiro had a confused look, as Yoriha stood up and reached for something in her office desk. It was a file.
YORIHA : "You'd be both going to the Visionary Academy while having a job at Beast Safety Control!"
SHIRO : "Wait-what..? What's a Visionary Academy..?"
YORIHA : "It's a school that teaches its students the functions of Vision and Perception~"
SHIRO : "Huh?"

He finds himself being dropped off by Yoriha's personal driver at Chiba Prefectural Visionary Academy.
YORIHA : "Welcome to Visionary Academy!"
Yoriha said as Shiro had just stepped out of the vehicle, seeing the massive campus in front of him. It had a gate as its entrance, with many buildings with different kinds of facilities within.
SHIRO : "Wait! Why am I going back to school?!"
YORIHA : "It's more of training, instead of school~"
YORIHA : "Come! I'll show you around!"
He follows Yoriha. The two explore the big campus of Visionary Academy, which was relatively empty for its massive size.
SHIRO : "It feels like a ghost town."
YORIHA : "It's cause enrollment is paused for this year!"
SHIRO : "Paused? Why so?"
YORIHA : "Everyone who was enrolled in the current year had to be drafted to be a Beast Hunter right after their 2nd Semester."
SHIRO : "Was Beast Safety Control that understaffed?"
YORIHA : "Nope! It was more of a sudden emergency during the first wave."
SHIRO : "First-.. Wave?"
YORIHA : "It's complicated."
While they were walking, they bumped into someone who was wearing sun-glasses, relatively tall, with dark and light strips of hair.
"WOAH?!" the man screamed with excitement.
YORIHA : "WOAAAAAAAAAAAAH?!"
- Yoriha screamed with the same excitement.
"YORIHA?!" the man exclaimed.
YORIHA : "ZAKI?!"
At this moment, Shiro looked absolutely confused.
SHIRO : Uhm- Mis. Yoriha? Who is he?"- He asked.
YORIHA : "This is Zaki! THE Zaki Hoshiro!"
ZAKI : "HAHAHA! No need to make my name so big!"
YORIHA : "HOW HAVE YOU BEEN?!"
ZAKI : "I've been amazing! What about you?!"
YORIHA : "I've been great, thank you! Hahaha!"
YORIHA : "Ooh, and I didn't forget~"
- Yoriha brought out a grape-flavored lollipop and handed it over to Zaki.
ZAKI : "YOU KEPT YOUR PROMISE!"
- Zaki had quickly unwrapped the lollipop and began to suck on it.
Shiro still looked confused; he had a blank stare on his face as he was trying to process who this guy was.
YORIHA : "Right! I forgot to introduce!"
Yoriha went towards the middle, between where Zaki and Shiro were standing.
YORIHA : "Shiro, this is Zaki. Zaki, this is Shiro"
YORIHA : "Shiro, Zaki will be your teacher and mentor. Zaki, Shiro will be your student."
SHIRO : "My teacher and mentor..?!"
YORIHA : "Mhm!"
ZAKI : "DO NOT WORRY! AS I, ZAKI HOSHIRO WILL ASSURE HIS STUDENTS WILL BE IN GREAT HANDS!"
- Zaki said with an exaggerated voice.
SHIRO : "I think I'm good without being schooled, Ms. Yoriha."
YORIHA : "You have to!"
ZAKI : "It's my job to!"
SHIRO : "I'm good."
YORIHA : "Shush it! You're learning today!"
Yoriha pinched Shiro's ears and began to drag him towards the nearest classroom for Zaki to teach him.
SHIRO : "HEY! HEY! LET ME GO! MS. YORIHA! LET ME GO!"

ZAKI : "And that's how perception works!"
YORIHA : "It's all about how you perceive the energy around you~"
- Shiro yawns as he listens to them discuss Perception and Vision.
SHIRO : "Great.. I understand it well."
- He said with a sleepy face and voice, as he was beginning to fall asleep.
YORIHA : "Wait-..! Are you going to pass out again?!"
SHIRO : "No.. I'm fine.."
- He said, half-asleep.
- Yoriha shakes him whole, holding both of his shoulders.
SHIRO : "Sorry! Sorry! I'm still a little tired."
YORIHA : "Is it a headache? dizzyness?"
SHIRO : "No, no.. I'm just tired.."…
Shiro falls asleep.
YORIHA : "HA..?! Geez, I guess I got a sleepy kid to babysit."
- She said as she crossed her arms.
ZAKI : "Hahah! And you were saying he's the Human-Beast Hybrid?"
YORIHA : "I haven't seen it myself, but Division 6 has witnessed it."
ZAKI : "Hm.. I'd rather see him in action first before I put him in some lessons."
YORIHA : "Come over by the HQ tomorrow then~ I'd like to witness the Human-Beast in action too!"
ZAKI : "Eh..? Will the higher-ups be aware of my presence..?"
YORIHA : "I'll put it off the records, don't worry~"
ZAKI : "You better! I hate dealing with those oldies."
- Yoriha walks over to Shiro's desk and plays with his hair as Zaki takes a notice of this.
ZAKI : "I take it as you're having a liking towards him?"
YORIHA : "I think it's more of some sort of hope or a start of a new era for having someone special like him come into our organization."
ZAKI : "I'll teach him real well for you! He might be the next V!"
YORIHA : "I don't think anyone can get onto your level.."
- She says as she looks back at Zaki while still playing with Shiro's hair.
ZAKI : "Eeh..? Who knows? He's gifted after all~"
Yoriha doesn't reply, she just stares over at Shiro's sleepy face that was lying on the school desk he was on while she continue to play with his hair.

He wakes up to find himself in the passenger seat of Yoriha's vehicle.
SHIRO : "Ms. Yoriha..?"
YORIHA : "Hm? Oh you're awake!"
- She said while driving.
YORIHA : "Did you pass out this time, or are you genuinely tired?"
SHIRO : "I guess I'm sort of tired.."
YORIHA : "That's okay, make sure to get lots of rest tonight."
SHIRO : "Where are we going?"
YORIHA : "Hm? I'm bringing you home."
- She said as she looked at him while driving.
YORIHA : "Tomorrow's your first day at work! I'll be setting you up in scouting with Bunnosuke! The nerd guy of Division 6!"
SHIRO : "Scouting..?"
- He asked as he glanced over at Yoriha's eyes again.
"Those eyes always get me."
YORIHA : "You'll be scouting over the city for beasts! It'd be a good routine to train your combat skills too, and learn more about your beast ability."
SHIRO : "I guess that's not bad.."
- He continued to glance over at her eyes.- Yoriha takes notice of this.
YORIHA : "You love looking at my eyes, y'know?"
SHIRO : "Sorry!"
- He looks away, changes his glance towards his window side.
YORIHA : "It's okay~ Hehe.. people always say my eyes are beautiful."
SHIRO : "Well.. they are."
YORIHA : "Thank you."
They arrive at the apartment complex where Kui lives, as Shiro also lives there. Shiro steps out of the car and thanks Yoriha.
SHIRO : "Thank you for the ride, Ms. Yoriha."
YORIHA : "Get some rest tonight, okay? Big day tomorrow~"
Shiro nods before the car drives away and leaves.
"What is with those eyes that keeps me pinned onto her..?"
