Chapter 26 - Chapter 26 Is this Stark?

Chapter 26 Is this Stark?

"Immature! Immature! You think that can scare me?"

Tony grumbled at Lynn while devouring the hamburger Lynn brought.

Lynn shrugged innocently.

"I was just flying normally, why would I want to scare you?"

Tony glanced at Lynn, wiped the cheese from the corner of his mouth, and called out, "Jarvis!"

The next moment, Tony's phone, placed on the table, projected a light screen.

"Mr. Crete paused for 7.3 seconds above your house, then initiated a supersonic attack downwards. However, based on his act of bringing you a hamburger and your friendship with him, the probability of him playfully scaring you is 98%."

Jarvis spoke while demonstrating a model on the light screen.

Lynn quietly said, "Is that really necessary?"

Tony picked up another cheeseburger, took a bite, and grinned at Lynn.

Of course, it's necessary!

He didn't want to step out in his Iron Man Suit only to see Lynn watching him mockingly with his arms crossed, saying, 'Hey, Tony, wearing the Iron Man Suit to greet me? Isn't that a bit much?'

Just then, Jarvis suddenly said, "Sir, it has been confirmed that you are not in danger. Should I cancel the deployment mission and put the activated Iron Man Suit into sleep mode?"

Lynn's eyebrow twitched slightly as he looked at the stiff-faced Tony and teased, "The Iron Man Suit was activated? You were planning to wear it to greet me?"

I knew it!

Tony rubbed his face in exasperation.

"Gentlemen, according to data, this kind of behavior and psychology in you is most common in children aged 3-7. You…"

"Jarvis, that's enough!"

Tony's mouth twitched as he dismissed the light screen.

"Tony, I think Jarvis needs a thorough inspection."

"I think so too."

The two exchanged a look, reaching a consensus.

A few minutes later, Tony wiped his mouth and let out a satisfied sigh.

"I'm full."

He had eaten three hamburgers in a row and finally felt satisfied.

Lynn silently packed up the remaining hamburgers and said to Tony, "Now that you're full, it's time to get to work."

Tony rolled his eyes and couldn't help but grumble, "You're exploiting labor."

"You, a capitalist, have no right to say that to me."

Lynn waved his hand dismissively and stated bluntly, "Do you know about mutant gene scanning devices?"

"Yes."

Tony asked curiously, "You want me to make one?"

"No."

Lynn smiled, "I want you to make a device that blocks the scan."

"Huh?"

Tony paused, then simply asked, "You're not going to do anything, are you?"

"Saving people shouldn't be a bad thing, right?"

Lynn said, stroking his chin.

"Then it's fine."

Tony nodded, thought for a few seconds, and murmured, "Although I haven't made that thing, I know the principle of mutant detectors. If I reverse-engineer it, it shouldn't be too difficult."

"Give me some time; I should have results by tonight."

Hearing this, Lynn raised an eyebrow.

This is Stark?

Just knowing the basic principle, he can create the corresponding item?

Is this professionalism?

Lynn looked at Tony with admiration, giving him plenty of emotional validation.

"Don't look at me like that; it's nothing to me."

Tony proudly raised the corner of his mouth, stood up, and patted Lynn's shoulder.

"Follow me, it's time for you to work, Mr. Workhorse."

Lynn smiled and shook his head, "Alright, Comrade Capitalist."

He followed Tony to the laboratory in the mansion.

Although the laboratory was underground, its area was not small.

In addition to the workshop where Tony usually made various things, there was also a warehouse for various material samples and a 'wardrobe' for storing the Iron Man Suits.

Tony snapped his fingers, and several glass cabinets slowly rose from underground.

"These are all my Iron Man Suits, except for Mark I and Mark II."

Tony showcased his proud inventions to Lynn.

Lynn quickly scanned them; they were indeed all the previous suits, each with its own story.

Looking at these suits, a nostalgic expression involuntarily appeared on Lynn's face.

"Aren't they captivating?"

Tony had a smile on his lips.

No man could resist the charm of the Iron Man Suit.

He pointed to Mark VIII and Mark IX, newly manufactured after the Battle of New York, and said to Lynn, "These two suits are models I made to alleviate anxiety."

Lynn turned to examine Tony, frowning, "Is the situation still that serious?"

Tony paused.

He had originally thought Lynn would marvel at his suits, but he didn't expect him to consider his condition first.

Tony felt a warmth in his heart, and his tone became uncharacteristically gentle.

"It's gotten a bit better."

Seeing Lynn looking at him with suspicion, he said somewhat impatiently, "Alright, pal! I'm Tony Stark, I can handle it."

"If you need help, call me anytime."

Lynn instructed.

"Uh-huh."

Tony mumbled a response, then immediately changed the subject.

"Lynn, let's get to work."

Lynn asked curiously, "What do you need me to do?"

Tony smiled, somewhat excitedly, "Fight me, help me collect supersonic combat data, and establish a supersonic combat template."

His Iron Man Suit could perform supersonic flight, which meant he already had the basis for supersonic combat.

However, due to his neural reaction issues, he couldn't fully utilize the suit's performance.

But if this combat template was successfully established, when dealing with some tricky enemies, he would only need to hand over combat authority to Jarvis, and the suit's performance could be perfectly utilized.

Lynn looked at Tony in confusion, "You should be able to establish a combat template through simulation, right?"

"It is possible to simulate by accelerating a normal combat template to supersonic speeds, but such a combat template, based on normal combat simulation, is just a useless piece of crap."

Tony's expression was very serious.

"You wouldn't think that simulating a bicycle accelerating to supersonic speeds would yield the same research data as a supersonic fighter jet, would you?"

Lynn couldn't help but chuckle, "That's a very apt description."

"Then let's begin!"

Tony excitedly snapped his fingers and called out, "Jarvis! Experiment start, make sure to record everything!"

As he spoke, the Iron Man Suit, which had been in the 'wardrobe,' flew out.

Lynn's eyebrow twitched slightly.

Interesting… Meanwhile, 'Lynn,' after some minor setbacks with Deadpool, finally arrived at the rendezvous point, boarded the private jet provided by their boss, and flew towards the mission location.

"Are there others?"

Looking at the dozens of mercenaries on the plane, Raven's intuition told her that this mission would be very troublesome.

Extremely troublesome!

It feels like… I've been screwed over by this guy!
