Chapter 19 - Dragon Ball: Reborn As Goku But Why Is Every Woman Chasing Me?! [19]

Chapter 19: Having Chi-Chi as the Second Wife Would Be Fine Too

The next day.

Bulma, Chi-Chi, and young Goku squeezed together on the Flying Nimbus and went to Fire Mountain.

Since they were traveling at almost full speed, they reached their destination in just one hour.

The place was right next to the great fire, unbearably hot.

The three of them were already drenched in sweat.

Chi-Chi spotted Ox-King and was the first to jump off the Flying Nimbus.

"Dad, I'm back!"

Ox-King was pleasantly surprised when he saw the Flying Nimbus.

"Oh my, Chi-Chi is so amazing!"

"You found Master Roshi so quickly and even brought back his Flying Nimbus!"

Chi-Chi immediately explained, "No, that's not it, Dad."

"I didn't find Master Roshi. This Flying Nimbus belongs to Bulma."

"Last night, they were the ones who saved me. You should properly thank them."

As she spoke, Bulma and Goku both descended from the Flying Nimbus.

Ox-King saw that it wasn't Master Roshi coming down from the Flying Nimbus, but rather a young man and woman he didn't recognize, which made him curious.

"Eh? What's going on?"

"Why are you riding my teacher's Flying Nimbus?"

"Where did you get this Flying Nimbus?"

Ox-King asked curiously.

Bulma explained, "Naturally, Master Roshi gave it to us."

Ox-King was somewhat disappointed, "And here I got excited for nothing."

"So the teacher didn't come after all, what a pity..."

"But since the teacher gave you the Flying Nimbus, you must know where he is, right?"

Bulma nodded, "Yes, we know."

At this moment, Chi-Chi tugged at Ox-King and told him about Bulma's request.

"Dad, Bulma said she needs to talk to you about something."

"She says she can help you put out the fire, and in exchange, you should give her a Dragon Ball."

"Dragon Ball?"

Ox-King scratched his head, not knowing what a Dragon Ball was.

Just then, Bulma pulled out a Dragon Ball.

"Mr. Ox-King, this is a Dragon Ball."

"According to my radar, there should be one inside your castle."

Ox-King looked at the Dragon Ball and seemed to remember something.

"So it's this thing!"

"That's right, I think I've seen this before."

"No problem! As long as you can help me borrow the teacher's Bansho Fan to put out the fire, once we can enter the castle, you can have that ball!"

Hearing Ox-King agree, a faint smile appeared at the corner of Bulma's mouth.

"Alright, it's settled then."

"Settled!~"

After saying this, Bulma looked at Goku.

"Goku, try using the Kamehameha."

"If you can't put out the fire, then I'll go find Master Roshi."

"Okay!" Goku responded.

Hearing about the Kamehameha, Ox-King was shocked again. He looked at Goku, "You mentioned the Kamehameha... could it be that you know Master Roshi's ultimate technique?"

Goku nodded, "Ah, yes, I can do it!"

Ox-King was overjoyed.

"When I was training under Master Roshi, I could never learn the Kamehameha."

"I never thought someone as young as you could master this technique!"

"It seems you have remarkable talent~!"

"I think the teacher must be very happy to have a disciple like you!!"

Goku shook his head, "No, I'm not his disciple."

"My martial arts and energy techniques were taught to me by my grandpa."

"Your grandpa taught you?"

As soon as he finished speaking, Ox-King noticed Goku's Power Pole.

"Eh, that staff of yours... is that the Power Pole?"

Goku nodded, "Yes, this is the Power Pole."

"My grandpa gave it to me too. His name is Son Gohan."

Ox-King's pupils dilated dramatically.

"Son Gohan!"

"So you're his grandson!"

"Hahahaha, we're practically family then!"

"Your grandpa was Master Roshi's first disciple, and I was the second disciple."

"Plus, you're Gohan's grandson—we're really closely connected!"

While speaking, Ox-King turned his gaze to Chi-Chi.

"I got too excited earlier and completely forgot."

"I just heard from Chi-Chi that you two saved her last night, right?"

Bulma and Goku exchanged glances, recalling how Master Roshi had gifted them the Flying Nimbus.

Was he about to offer them something too?

Both Bulma and Goku nodded in unison.

"Yes, we were the ones who saved her."

Ox-King immediately pulled Chi-Chi closer.

"What a wonderful coincidence!"

"Goku, don't you think Chi-Chi is adorable?"

Goku, not quite understanding the implication, replied, "Ah, yes, Chi-Chi is very cute!"

Hearing Goku's compliment, Chi-Chi's face flushed bright red.

Bulma, however, began to look uneasy, as if she had remembered something.

Ox-King continued, "Well then, since you and Chi-Chi are around the same age,

why don't we take our relationship a step further?

"How about I arrange a childhood engagement for you two?"

"When you grow up, you can marry each other."

"Daddy, stop it…" Chi-Chi shyly covered her face, but her big eyes peeked intently through her fingers, eager to see Goku's reaction—utterly adorable.

Watching Ox-King enthusiastically promote Chi-Chi, Goku stood there speechless.

Was it fate that he and Chi-Chi were destined to marry?

As Goku pondered life's mysteries, Bulma suddenly cut Ox-King off with a sharp cry:

"Absolutely not!"

Ox-King, Chi-Chi, and Goku were all taken aback and turned to look at Bulma.

Noticing her striking looks and figure, Ox-King was the first to recover.

"Ohoho, I see now—I smell jealousy!"

"Are you planning to marry Goku in the future?"

Bulma's lips twitched. "No, that's not it at all…"

Halfway through her denial, she caught herself.

Why was she even refuting it?

The truth was, she did want to marry Goku when he grew up.

Before she could explain, Ox-King chuckled.

"Alright, alright, I can tell you're jealous—you must like Goku too."

"No problem, you can be the first wife."

"When Chi-Chi grows up, she can marry Goku as the second wife."

"But you mustn't bully Chi-Chi!"

"My two wives are always arguing, so I had no choice but to let them live separately."

Bulma's face darkened. "I thought you didn't have a wife. So you've married two women?"

Ox-King thumped his chest proudly. "That's right… If I didn't have to worry about taking care of Chi-Chi, I could even marry another!"

Bulma: "…"

Seeing Bulma's displeasure, Ox-King added, "Don't worry, even the king wouldn't dare interfere with me!"

"Anyone who opposes me—I'll kill them!"

Goku immediately spoke up, "Uncle Ox-King, it's wrong to kill people recklessly! Your reputation has already suffered and is tarnishing the Turtle School's name. I suggest you stop doing such things."
