Hearing the Rudra Familia's mockery, Ryuu's face was as dark as soot, but Roy held her back.
Roy was unfazed by the Rudra Familia. Even criminals are given a last meal before they are executed; let them run their mouths for now!
"See you later!" Roy said meaningfully.
"What an arrogant brat!"
The Rudra Familia members stared at Roy with annoyance. He was just an LV.1 newcomer.
A few sharp individuals noticed with keen sensitivity that Roy seemed to be the dominant one between him and Ryuu. How was this possible? The other one was an LV.4!
Following Shakti's command.
Ryuu bolted forward, charging down the deep path towards the lower floors like a whirlwind. The monsters on the upper levels could barely impede her progress.
Roy followed closely behind. The path cleared by Ryuu had few monsters, allowing him unimpeded passage. With his current stats, he could easily handle the monsters on the upper floors anyway.
Their destination was the Tenth Floor!
"Hey, aren't they going to fight?"
"They can't actually be trying to clear floors, right?"
Looking at the two figures running faster than rabbits, the members of the Rudra Familia were confused. Could their opponents be so naive as to actually play a dungeon-clearing game?
Even if their opponents won the War Game, the most that would happen is God Rudra being sent back to heaven. Any thought of dealing with them was delusional; they would just flee beforehand.
They had little respect for their God.
The relationship between them was one of mutual exploitation: the God gave them Falmna and status updates, and they earned money and satisfied the God's various demands.
Very few treated the Familia as a warm family.
The brown-skinned man—the Familia Captain—said gravely, "Be careful, everyone. Don't be caught off guard!"
"Yes."
The members replied. They respected the Captain's LV.3 strength. Should he lose his power and dominance, the others would swarm him like hungry wolves—that was the law of the jungle in the Dark Faction.
The Captain and Vice-Captain exchanged glances, seeing the worry in each other's eyes. Their trickiest situation had arisen: Ryuu could use her LV.4 strength to evade them in the wide expanse of the Dungeon. Even if they succeeded in cornering her eventually, they would likely suffer heavy casualties.
The Vice-Captain shouted, "Form teams of ten! If you encounter Gale, just stall her!"
Under the command of the Captain and Vice-Captain, the one hundred-plus members quickly split into over a dozen teams. Most teams included an LV.2 adventurer. If they encountered the two, they could briefly stall them.
Then, when the others arrived, they would swarm them. Two fists can't defeat four hands, and even a powerful LV.4 adventurer gets exhausted and mentally fatigued.
A massive search operation had begun.
Roy and Ryuu had no intention of fighting. They used the complex terrain of the Dungeon to repeatedly evade the search teams of the Rudra Familia, hurrying towards the lower levels.
Because their strength far exceeded the floor standard, both sides advanced quickly, soon reaching the Tenth Floor.
The Tenth Floor was a spacious cavern veiled in thick mist that obscured vision. From this floor onward, the Dungeon's difficulty sharply increased.
It was common for massive numbers of monsters to spontaneously spawn in this area. A previously empty space could instantly fill with creatures—a phenomenon called the "Monster Feast."
This was extremely dangerous. Running into such a situation in the center of the cavern, surrounded by a multitude of monsters in an instant, would panic any ordinary adventurer.
The Rudra Familia Vice-Captain, leading two teams, pursued Roy and Ryuu and was the first to arrive on this floor. However, the thick mist blocked their sight.
A cunning glint flashed in the Vice-Captain's eyes. He shouted, "Ryuu, are you going to keep running like this? Is this your revenge? How pathetic! Those rotten women like Alise Lovell deserved to die!"
"Hahahahahahahaha!"
The spacious environment of the Tenth Floor amplified sound better than the floors above.
The brown-skinned man's mockery and the uninhibited laughter of the others echoed through the cavern.
The Vice-Captain's sharp gaze searched the surroundings, but he didn't see Ryuu. He pursed his lips. That shouldn't be right. How could that woman endure such provocation?
The two sides had dealt with each other extensively and understood each other well.
"Vice-Captain!"
Just then, a Familia member shouted.
The others followed his gaze and saw Ryuu standing on a steep cliff face.
The Vice-Captain grinned viciously. "Ryuu, so you finally stopped running!"
It had finally come to this moment. Ryuu felt not the burning rage she expected, but extreme indifference. Her cold, sky-blue eyes stared at the group of villains.
"There's no need to run anymore. This is where the decisive battle will take place!" Ryuu's voice was filled with killing intent.
Shortly after, the other Rudra Familia teams arrived, entering the floor. At a glance, over a hundred people had gathered here, a massive formation.
The Rudra Familia Captain sneered, "I can't believe you decided to confront us head-on. Did the death of Alise Lovell and the others drive you mad?"
"Kill her!"
With a command, everyone charged towards Ryuu.
Boom!!
Suddenly, exactly one hundred golden orbs of light appeared in the spacious clearing, flashing with golden lightning. The dazzling light illuminated the entire floor.
"What happened?"
The blinding light forced the members of the Rudra Familia to squint. When the golden light dissipated, they saw a massive army of Titans.
Everyone was instantly terrified.
Ryuu was no exception. She recognized them, of course—the Pure Titans they had hunted. How did Roy bring these Pure Titans into the Dungeon?
The card that summoned one hundred Pure Titans, looted from the Titan instance, was incredibly potent. The average height of this batch of Titans was around ten meters.
Abnormal Titans accounted for thirty percent, equivalent to LV.2 monsters with specially enhanced single attributes.
Minotaurs (LV.2 monsters) only appeared below the fifteenth floor. The sudden appearance of so many powerful monsters on the tenth floor was self-explanatory.
Many members of the Rudra Familia, especially the LV.1s, were already weak-kneed with fear.
Setting aside the Titans' combat power, their colossal size, which exceeded that of Goliath, the Floor Boss of the 17th floor, was awe-inspiring and terrifying.
Thump! Thump! Thump!
The one hundred Pure Titans charged toward the Rudra Familia. Their heavy footsteps made the ground tremble.
Facing this Titan army, comparable to ten thousand troops, the Rudra Familia's morale plummeted.
Adventurers possessed superhuman strength, but they were still human. Humans who are killed will die, and those who feel fear will flee. They weren't here to risk their lives.
When the two sides made contact, the situation immediately devolved into a one-sided slaughter.
In the initial charge, at least thirty members of the Rudra Familia were instantly crushed into a bloody pulp.
