Chapter 113 - Trial of Survival: Thousand Dragon Wills

CHAPTER 113 — Trial of Survival: Thousand Dragon Wills

A thunderclap split the sky—

and the world erupted into a storm of golden annihilation.

Lin Xuan inhaled sharply as thousands of dragon wills ignited around him.

Not illusions.

Not constructs.

These were the crystallized remnants of dragons who once walked the universe—each one retaining a fragment of their power, instinct, and killing intent.

And every single one of them wanted him dead.

Above, the Primordial Dragon declared:

> "SURVIVE THREE MINUTES."

Next to him, Solarius added calmly:

> "If you die, you were never worthy to protect a dragon… or wield a world."

Lin Xuan tightened his grip on his spear.

"Three minutes, huh…

Then let's make every heartbeat count."

---

1. The Dragon Wills Unleashed

The first dragon will surged forward with a roar that cracked the air.

A wyrmling—barely the size of a house—yet its killing intent felt like a mountain falling from the heavens.

Lin pivoted—

BOOOOOM!

His spear struck its jaw, sending it spiraling into the sky in a burst of golden sparks.

He didn't have time to admire it.

Five more descended instantly.

One tried to swallow him whole.

Two breathed a torrent of solar flame.

Another lashed its tail.

The last dove like a meteor.

Lin's spear spun like a cyclone.

His lightning affinity flashed—

CRACK!

Tribulation sparks exploded outward, deflecting the worst of the flames.

But a tail slammed into his ribs—

Wham!

Lin crashed into the crystalline ground, coughing blood.

He jumped back up immediately.

"No holding back."

He spread his feet—

And invoked his world seed.

Planets spun behind him—

phantoms of orbiting worlds.

Lightning wrapped around the spheres like celestial rivers.

Starfire radiated around him in a corona of gold and violet.

The wills hesitated.

Even Solarius narrowed his eyes.

> "So the seed-child raises his fangs."

Lin's aura surged—

"Come!"

---

2. Star-Orbit Footwork — Celestial Spiral Dash

The next wave of dragon wills lunged.

Lin stepped into the orbit of his phantoms—

and space itself bent around him.

He vanished.

Reappeared.

Vanished again.

Each movement left a trail of starlight.

Each strike pulverized a dragon will.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

Yet the wills instantly reformed—each time more aggressive than before.

Solarius nodded approvingly.

> "Good. But you are using too much of your deeper essence."

Lin didn't answer.

He didn't have breath to spare.

One dragon will bit down—

Lin shoved his spear between its jaws and used its momentum to hurl himself backward—

Only to slam into three more wills waiting behind him.

Claws raked across his shoulder, tearing deep.

Lin growled.

His blood sizzled with tribulation lightning as it flowed.

"Not enough…"

He raised his hand—

summoning both suns of his inner world.

---

3. Twin Star Burst — Binary Supernova Pulse

A massive explosion of gold and violet erupted from his body.

Dozens of dragon wills disintegrated instantly.

The realm trembled.

Mountains cracked.

Auroras flickered like torches in a storm.

Even Solarius raised an eyebrow.

> "Interesting…"

The Primordial Dragon murmured:

> "This child…

He fights as if every moment were his last."

Lin didn't hear them.

He was too focused.

The next wave was already charging.

---

4. Dragon Wills Learn

Unlike beasts or constructs—

dragon wills learned.

They adapted.

Lin thrust his spear—

but the dragon will slid under it and slammed into his chest, sending him staggering back.

Another will wrapped its tail around his leg and whipped him into the air.

Three more blasted starfire at him.

Lin gasped—

Then invoked:

"World Seed—Solar Eclipse Form!"

Darkness and light inverted around him.

A shadow halo ringed with lightning expanded, swallowing attacks whole.

The wills recoiled, confused.

Lin's eyes gleamed.

"That's right…

I can use their own instincts against them."

He bent low—

spear humming with starfire—

And unleashed:

"Eclipse Piercing Star!"

A single thrust pierced five dragon wills in a straight line, bursting them into radiant fragments.

---

5. Time Slows — Pressure Peaks

Lin's body screamed.

Muscles tore.

Bones cracked.

Lightning danced painfully through open wounds.

He could feel his blood essence draining with every technique.

But the trial was reaching its climax.

Solarius announced:

> "ONE MINUTE REMAINS."

Lin hissed between clenched teeth.

"One minute…

I can endure that…"

But ten times more dragon wills manifested around him.

Their combined pressure nearly crushed him to his knees.

He forced himself upright.

His world seed pulsed again—

as if answering his determination.

The planets rotated faster.

The suns flared brighter.

Lin inhaled—

And unleashed the technique he had sworn never to use outside life-or-death battle.

---

6. Forbidden Art — Stellar Collapse Domain

A spherical domain erupted around him—

gravity warping, space twisting, lightning lacing the air.

The wills stepped into the domain—

And their bodies bent, crushed under impossible gravitational pressure.

Even Solarius leaned forward.

> "…He uses domain-level suppression at the Foundation stage…"

The Primordial Dragon rumbled deeply.

> "No. This is not a domain…

It is the shadow of a world."

Lin roared—

the first roar to ever echo from a human throat like a newborn star.

Dragon wills shattered.

Fragments of golden qi spiraled like dying meteors.

But Lin collapsed onto one knee, blood pouring from his lips.

He forced himself up—

Only to sway as the world tilted.

His vision blurred.

The last ten dragon wills approached.

Strongest of all.

Lin raised his spear.

Hands shaking.

Breath ragged.

"Come…

come then…"

He lunged.

The world went white.

---

7. The Moment of Judgment

Lin's vision returned slowly.

He was lying on the ground.

Alive.

Barely.

Above him hovered Solarius, arms crossed.

> "Three minutes have passed."

Lin blinked.

"…I survived?"

Solarius smirked.

> "No."

Lin's heart dropped.

> "You did more than survive."

"You dominated."

The Primordial Dragon's voice echoed:

> "THE SECOND TRIAL… PASSED."

Lin exhaled shakily.

He wanted to smile—

but exhaustion stole the strength from his face.

Solarius extended a hand.

> "Stand. Your third trial awaits."

Lin swallowed.

"What… is the third?"

Solarius turned, golden aura swirling like a miniature sun.

> "The trial of truth."

Lin frowned. "Truth?"

Solarius's eyes glowed dangerously.

> "Yes."

"The truth of your soul."

"The truth of your purpose."

"And the truth of what you will become."

The world around them dissolved into blinding radiance—

And the third trial began.
