Chapter 19 - Chapter 19 RE Village (19)

The massive, swirling figure of Mother Miranda expanded, casting an oppressive shadow over the ruined Factory.

She was radiating raw, unstable parasitic energy, twisting the very air around her.

"You will be returned to the earth, all of you! And your insolence will be forgotten!"

Miranda shrieked, preparing to unleash an attack that would annihilate the entire area.

Theodore didn't need to give a command. Alcina was driven by decades of calculated, concentrated hatred.

She saw her former master not as a goddess, but as the one who stole her life and her daughters' futures.

"Vengeance is mine!"

Alcina roared.

She lunged forward, her enormous figure a blur of motion.

She didn't use a subtle attack; she used her full, unbridled strength, slamming her fist directly into Miranda's shadowy center mass.

WHOOM!

The impact released a wave of pure physical force against Miranda's psychic energy, momentarily disrupting her formation.

The Dimitrescu daughters, filled with the same burning rage, followed their mother's lead.

Bela, Cassandra, and Daniela fired their newly acquired pistols in frantic, continuous bursts.

They didn't aim with any military precision, but the sheer volume of high-powered ammunition sprayed toward Miranda's amorphous form caused significant distraction and damage.

Theodore, true to his word, became the silent, strategic support, operating from behind the line of fire.

"Keep the heat on her, Alcina!"

Theodore yelled. He pulled out Heisenberg's Flask, which crackled with chaotic energy.

He knew this incomplete item was unstable, but it was his only chance to disable the final boss's mechanics.

He hurled the flask directly at Miranda.

The instability of the object combined with Miranda's own energy caused a localized, massive feedback loop of power.

Miranda screamed as her psychic shield collapsed, leaving her physically exposed.

"My Lord! Now!"

Alcina cried, pressing her furious attack.

Miles away, at the edge of the valley, Chris Redfield and the Hound Wolf Squad watched the battle unfold.

The scale of the confrontation—the towering figures, the blinding flashes of energy, the earth-shaking impacts—was beyond anything they had ever encountered in traditional bioterrorism.

Chris stood on the ramp of the helicopter, his rifle lowered.

Ethan and Rose were safely inside, watching the lights dance on the distant mountain peaks.

"Sir, this is beyond our mandate,"

An operative spoke over the radio.

"That power signature is immense. We need to deploy full air support."

Chris shook his head, his eyes narrowed, fixed on the remote, monumental struggle.

"Negative. Look at the targets. The Dimitrescus are fighting with purpose, not madness. They are fighting for freedom."

He watched a blinding flash as Theodore hurled something that seemed to collapse Miranda's defenses.

"That man,"

Chris muttered, referring to Theodore,

"Is fighting a war we don't understand, using rules we can't fathom. If we intervene now, we might disrupt his 'strategy' and cause a full wipe."

He remembered Theodore's arrogance, his disregard for safety, and his impossible success.

Chris had come here to neutralize the threat, but the threat had been neutralized by the very person he was chasing.

Chris made the tactical decision: Observation and Prepared Extraction.

"We hold the line here,"

Chris commanded.

"If the fighting spills out of the valley, we engage. Otherwise, we maintain distance. Let them finish their business."

Alcina and her daughters, empowered by Theodore's disruption, pressed the attack.

Alcina wrestled Miranda, using her raw strength to prevent the powerful witch from regaining her psychic cohesion.

Bela, Cassandra, and Daniela, their clips empty, tossed their now useless guns aside and engaged Miranda with desperate, hand-to-hand ferocity, striking and clawing at her exposed body.

Theodore, however, knew that raw power wouldn't be enough.

He needed one final, fatal burst.

He quickly pulled out the Sunlight Spear and the Black Firebomb.

He combined them, imbuing the spear with the destructive, corrosive fire.

His body was damaged but he didn't care.

"Alcina! Pull back!"

Theodore screamed.

Alcina shoved the thrashing Miranda away and retreated with her daughters, who were already bruised and cut but unbroken.

Theodore unleashed the combined item: a blazing spear wreathed in dark, burning fire.

It flew true, striking Miranda directly in her Megamycete core.

A blinding, searing light erupted. Miranda let out a final, world-ending shriek that seemed to tear the very fabric of the valley.

Her body dissolved completely, not into ash, but into a blinding pillar of pure golden light that shot straight into the heavens before collapsing.

The ground was quiet. The wind returned, carrying fresh snow.
