Pre-Draft Analysis
Rome Quintas emerged as one of the top cornerbacks in college football during his time at Stanford. He plays with a rare combination of size, speed, and physicality, allowing him to match up against the top receivers in the country. Rome is aggressive in press coverage, quick to read the quarterback, and makes plays on the ball in tight windows. He's versatile, able to handle press-man, off-man, and zone schemes, and excels in run support. His instincts and anticipation are top-tier, often allowing him to jump routes or react to plays before they fully develop.

Post-Draft Analysis
Selected 12th overall by the San Francisco 49ers, Quintas immediately brings size, speed, and physicality to a 49ers defense hungry for playmakers in the secondary. He has the ability to cover top-tier receivers, make plays on the ball, and provide solid run support. Rome's intelligence and leadership translate well to the NFL, where he can help coordinate coverage and elevate teammates.
Rome is expected to step in and contribute early, with the potential to become a cornerstone of the 49ers' secondary. His presence should help strengthen a defensive backfield already featuring a talented young core.

As is said in the synopsis, this will be more of a wish-fulfillment story. I started watching American Football back in 2013. At the time, I didn't know jack. All I watched was the Super Bowl and fell in love with the losing team, the 49ers, and since then, I have always rooted for them. Many disappointing seasons after another after another until recently, when things started looking nice. But it seems we can't get over that hump losing in the NFC championship or Super Bowl, so in this story, my Niners became a dynasty.
BANG BANG NINER GANG!
