Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Reborn as Hinata

Inside the dojo, a young girl's heart was filled with complex emotions.

With short lilac hair, dressed in a white training gi, she sat cross-legged on the floor, barefoot.

The girl's name was Hinata Hyuga, but the soul inhabiting her body at this moment was not her own… He had transmigrated into Hinata Hyuga, becoming the eldest daughter of the Hyuga family.

This was difficult for him to accept, having been a martial arts grandmaster in his previous life, but what else could he do?

What was even more disheartening was that his enviable martial arts prowess and formidable physique were gone… He had spent nearly half his life training, building up those toned muscles, and traveling the world, visiting all sorts of remote and treacherous places. Where hadn't he been?

But now, all of it was gone… No one would be happy about that.

Then there was his good brother, born on the same day, month, and year as him, who was now gone… They had promised to die on the same day, month, and year, but he had left first… Thinking of this, Hinata Hyuga felt a pang in her heart.

However, there were also things to be happy about. For instance, she could feel that this body was different from ordinary people's, and the power in this world was completely unlike that on Earth!

She dared not imagine what kind of storm she would stir up in this world if she were to cultivate using the memories and knowledge in her mind!

Being a modern person, she had watched Naruto and had a decent understanding of some of the minor details within it.

Combining her memories, for example, Hinata was now facing the first major turning point in her life.

A battle against her younger sister, Hanabi Hyuga.

If she failed, Hiashi would be utterly disappointed in her, and many troubles would follow. Although a tiger doesn't eat its cubs, Hinata could envision her future fate and living conditions.

Losing resources would undoubtedly slow down her cultivation speed, and then there was the issue of her ambition.

Before transmigrating, he had a dream: to become the world's very best! Perhaps the concept of martial arts heroes no longer existed in modern times.

However, he still harbored the dream of roaming the world with a sword and becoming the best!

Just as his dream seemed within reach, he suddenly encountered a car accident and then transmigrated… He was unwilling… "Hinata, Hanabi."

Over there, Hiashi Hyuga, sitting formally in the dojo, emotionlessly called out Hinata's and Hanabi's names.

The two who were called stood up. The dojo wasn't too large, but it was more than enough for combat practice.

Hinata Hyuga clenched her fists.

What I couldn't achieve in my last life, I must achieve in this one… I want to be number one!

"Begin," Hiashi Hyuga said.

Hiashi Hyuga, seated at the head of the dojo, maintained a calm expression, yet the solemn look in his eyes was impossible to conceal.

He was very traditional, and thus he especially hoped Hinata would take things seriously, even be a bit tougher. He hoped his eldest daughter would inherit everything of the Hyuga family!

But if Hinata couldn't do it, Hiashi Hyuga was also prepared to let Hanabi inherit the Hyuga family. Everything was for the continuation of the Hyuga family, and as the clan head, he bore many burdens.

With the command, the two who had been standing still instantly moved.

Hanabi Hyuga's eyes were filled with determination and sharpness. With her Byakugan activated, the flow of Hinata's chakra appeared in her vision.

Her decisive movements showed that she had clearly prepared herself even before the battle began.

Gentle Fist, the strongest taijutsu style in Konoha, is renowned for using physical contact to inject chakra into an opponent's body, disrupting their internal structure and blocking their tenketsu to stop chakra flow.

Especially since the Hyuga clan possesses the Byakugan, a cheat-like dōjutsu that allows one to see the internal chakra flow and meridian system of the human body.

Together, they were rightfully called the strongest taijutsu clan in Konoha.

"Ha!" Hanabi Hyuga attacked first, her palm striking directly at the Gate of View, near the abdomen, one of the Eight Inner Gates.

To seal chakra and sever the central nervous system—if this palm strike landed, a series of meridian-severing attacks would follow. As chakra was sealed and meridians were damaged, the opportunities to resist would dwindle.

Though called Gentle Fist, the attack was so sharp and fierce, where was the gentleness in it?

In Hinata Hyuga's eyes, she couldn't believe that Hanabi Hyuga's palm strike was so decisive, yet so slow… What kind of pushovers were these in Naruto? But that's good, it meant she would have plenty of opportunities to act.

At the same time, Neji and Hiashi in the dojo were both intently watching Hanabi's palm strike.

They even felt they had already guessed the outcome.

Based on previous experiences, Hinata was sure to suffer a crushing defeat this time.

Perhaps… Hanabi was the best candidate to inherit the Hyuga family? Even Hiashi himself looked at her with a dazed expression, this thought unconsciously surfacing in his mind.

Meanwhile, Hinata opened her eyes, the meridians near her temples exposed, looking quite fierce.

Though her eyes were identical to Hanabi Hyuga's, hers were even purer white!

From the way Hanabi Hyuga moved, she showed no hesitation, which was precisely her biggest flaw.

It was foolish to not assess and test the opponent's moves before battle, or even to not understand their true capabilities.

Courage was good, but ultimately, she lacked experience.

Hinata also struck out, but her eyes weren't focused on the opponent's chakra flow; instead, they were on her footwork and body movements.

A head-on clash? Neji and Hiashi both frowned.

In this situation, Hanabi was bound to be at a disadvantage; she couldn't possibly compare to Hinata in age and training.

It seemed Hanabi was destined to lose… But there was a strange feeling; Hiashi could roughly tell that Hinata's offensive momentum had slowed, perhaps there was a follow-up move?

"Ha!"

The two figures closed in an instant, on the verge of conflict. But just as Hanabi Hyuga, filled with anticipation and unwavering determination, resolved to prove herself, she realized with horror that her sister's attack had changed.

She had originally thought she would clash head-on with her sister, and she even knew she was destined to lose, but she had bet everything, ready to fight to the death.

Who knew, Hinata's figure suddenly slowed, as if using the initial posture of her strike to perform a feint, her outstretched hand carrying her entire body into an agile dodge.

In the eyes of Hanabi, Hiashi, and Neji, Hinata merely stepped forward, then unleashed a palm strike, followed by a nimble change of technique, dodging Hanabi's palm like a mountain deer, and appearing behind Hanabi.

Hanabi, having put too much force into her attack, had never imagined such a possibility. Instantly, the hairs on her body stood on end, as if something terrifying was standing behind her, ready to unleash its claws.

Hanabi felt she might be cut in half!

"Alright, good girl, just give up."

Alas, what followed was not agonizing pain, but a hand gently patting her head.

Hanabi was stunned; she had just felt like she was going to die…
