Scene 1 — Streets Settling Back to Normal
The city hummed with life again. Cars honked faintly, shops reopened, and pedestrians cautiously returned to their routines. But Kylori Meykami Genesis moved through it like a ghost, untouched by the mundane, a shadow threading through sunlight.
Akira jogged up beside him, hands shoved in her hoodie pockets, hair messy from running, face flushed—but her expression was fiery, determined.
> "Hey! Over here! I was worried about you, you know!"
Kylori sighed softly, not looking at her. Calm. Distant.
> "What are you doing here? Besides… I thought I told you to leave."
She rolled her eyes dramatically, but her voice carried the usual mix of annoyance and fearlessness.
> "Oh, come on now! You don't think I'm gonna leave you after all that fuss last night, do you? Please… don't even try to pull that act on me."
He finally glanced at her, a faint twitch of his lips—more of a flicker than a smile.
> "Sigh… I guess it was worth a try. Just… stay beside me from now on. I'm certain you'll get yourself killed one day."
Akira froze mid-step.
> "WHAT?!" she shrieked, hands flailing. "What do you mean by that? Are you saying I'm… another one of your experiments or something? I dare you say that! I'm not going to let—"
Kylori's gaze returned forward, silent, calm, almost bored.
> "Come on already. We're almost at the dormitories. Don't want to be late."
Akira huffed loudly, shoving her hands in her pockets again, muttering under her breath:
> "Psshh… whatever. But I'm still not going anywhere, and you're not getting rid of me that easily."
He finally let a small pause settle, then muttered dryly:
> "...Okay then. I don't have a choice either way, do I."

Scene 2 — Internal Thoughts (Akira's Mind)
Her steps slowed slightly to match his, but her mind raced.
I don't know why… I don't even fully understand it… but I feel like I need to be around him. Maybe, sooner or later, I'll understand why. For now… I just can't leave him to himself.
She glanced sideways at him. The calm, unnerving expression on his face, the subtle twitch of his shadow at his feet—it was… mesmerizing, terrifying, and oddly magnetic all at once.
Why am I even thinking this? I don't get it. But I can't let him go… not yet.

Scene 3 — Walking Beside Danger
The two of them moved through the streets, a normal crowd oblivious to the eldritch echoes lingering just beneath the city's surface. Kylori's presence warped reality subtly—shadows stretched slightly longer, the air tingled with an almost imperceptible energy.
Akira finally crossed her arms, looking at him with that stubborn, fearless glint in her eyes.
> "So… what now? Are we just… walking around like nothing happened? Or are we gonna do something actually interesting?"
Kylori's lips twitched again, faintly, almost reluctantly.
> "You'll see. But… keep up. And keep your curiosity in check. You might survive longer that way."
She grinned, despite the tension curling around her chest.
> "Oh, don't worry. I've survived worse than monsters and white-eyed shadows. I can handle whatever you throw at me. Maybe even teach you something while I'm at it."
Kylori's eyes flicked sideways for the briefest moment, but he didn't comment. Just a faint acknowledgment, subtle, precise—enough to make her heart skip.

Scene 4 — Approaching the Dormitory
The dormitories finally appeared ahead, some students returning cautiously, still shaken by the previous night. Kylori's stride remained calm, methodical, effortless. Akira jogged slightly to keep pace, every step a mixture of tension and defiance.
I don't know what it is about him… why I feel this, but I can't leave. Not now. Not ever… probably, she thought, determination twisting in her chest.
> "You know," she finally said, voice quieter, almost hesitant, "I might not understand everything you do… but I'm not leaving. You can't get rid of me. Not today, not tomorrow, not ever."
Kylori simply sighed again, shaking his head slightly. Calm. Resigned.
> "Then… stay. For now. Just… don't get yourself killed."
Akira smirked, a mix of defiance and affection in her eyes.
> "Don't worry about me. I can handle myself. But you… you'd better not start thinking I'm fragile either."
And with that, they continued walking, side by side. The shadows of the city seemed to bow subtly around them, the faintest hint of chaos lingering—but for now, a fragile calm.
